Fennes Wedding Photography for Maxine & Ben

Maxine and Ben booked us for their Fennes Wedding Photography. Arriving at Fennes it was overcast but the forecast was that the weather was going to break.  Maxine and Ben really wanted an outside Ceremony so the decision was made to go ahead and fingers were crossed. It wasn’t long before the sun was out which enhanced the setting for their Wedding. Maxine was getting ready upstairs with her Mother and the Bridesmaids. In another room Ben was getting ready. Preparations were going well were going well for both of them and once the men were ready they headed off downstairs and outside.

Recommended Wedding Photographer FennesBen and his Groomsmen had a few pictures outside and inside Fennes House then they carried out their duties of greeting the Guests. Maxine was soon ready for her ‘ready’ pictures together with the Bridesmaids. Fennes Wedding Photography The Drinks Reception followed the outdoor Ceremony and everyone enjoyed socialising in the sunshine and being entertained by a magician. We got on with taking the requested family pictures and a few Bridal Party pictures later on. Leaving the Guests we whisked away Maxine and Ben for a short session of pictures on the Bridge and through the Bluebells. Wedding Photographer FennesEveryone congregated in the Gold Room just before the Wedding Breakfast for the confetti throwing. The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Pavilion and the Speeches followed. A bouncy castle provided entertainment afterwards for the Bride and Groom as well as their Guests! The break between the speeches and evening celebrations allowed us to create Maxine and Ben’s special pictures which they requested involving the  bridal party as well. These pictures were fun to do as well with everyone being extra relaxed!Fennes Recommended Wedding Photographer Finishing off with Maxine and Ben’s evening pictures inside Fennes we then returned to the Pavilion.  Maxine and Ben cut their Wedding Cake and then took to the dance floor for their First Dance. After good weather during the day a sunset was not to be, so instead we took a couple of night pictures. This finished our coverage their Maxine and Ben’s Wedding Day. Thank you Maxine and Ben for an enjoyable and rewarding day also to the staff  who make Fennes Wedding Photography a pleasure.

Wedding Photography Fennes for Paula & Jason

Wedding Photography Fennes – Great to be back at the wonderful Fennes a few days after our previous Wedding there.  It is a brilliant Venue with superb staff to make your Wedding Day so special. Paula and Jason’s Wedding was no exception! It was overcast but dry when we arrived at Fennes on the morning of the Wedding.  We headed up to the Bridal Changing Room where Paula was getting ready. Everybody was very relaxed and preparations were going well. The men were getting ready in the Lodges so David made his way over to them to see how things were progressing. Very well was the answer, so after capturing a few of these pictures, Jason and his Groomsmen made their way over to the House for a few pictures. Afterwards, as the Guests arrived, Jason greeted them whilst we captured a few arrival pictures as well. The girls were well on their way by this time and soon ready for their pictures. Paula’s Brother came to join us as we started as he was going to be giving her away. Wedding Photographer FennesAfter a few pictures it was time for the Civil Ceremony.  The Pavilion looked lovely, the Guests were seated, the Harpist was playing and all was ready for Paula to make her entrance. Following the Ceremony everyone walked up to the front of the house for the Drinks Reception.  It was raining outside so everybody socialised inside for a while. Fortunately, the weather did break, long enough for us to take some requested family pictures outside. Once these were completed we took Paula and Jason for a very quick walk around the grounds. Recommended Wedding Photographer FennesIt was drizzling a little bit by now so we started with a brolly but were able to discard it after a couple of pictures as it had virtually stopped.. It would have been a shame if we didn’t include the bluebells and blossom in Paula and Jason’s pictures so were very lucky. Riding our luck we did a few fun Bridal Party pictures outside before going back inside for to take a few more.Wedding Photography FennesPaula and Jason then carried on with talking to their Guests. During the rest of the time before the Wedding Breakfast we took a variety of informal pictures. The Speeches provided some good reactions which we were there to capture. During the time before the Evening Guests arrived we took a few pictures in Fennes as it was raining of Paula and Jason and some group shots as of their Evening Guests. Later Paula and Jason cut their Wedding Cake  before taking to the dance floor for their First Dance.Wedding Photographer Fennes Essex A lovely couple! Congratulations Paula and Jason on your Wedding and thank you for asking us to photograph your Wedding.

It was a nice spring day when we arrived at The Fennes Estate for the Wedding of Emma and Ben. Emma was getting ready in the house with her Bridesmaids. Ben and his Groomsmen arrived a little later and carried out their final preparations. Once Ben and his Groomsmen were ready they had some pictures taken at the front of Fennes House. Fennes Recommended Wedding PhotographerMeanwhile Emma enjoyed sipping her Champagne and it was then time for her Mum to assist her to get dressed. Ben was greeting the Guests and went with them as they made their way to the Pavilion for the ceremony. We took a few Bridal portraits of Emma together with a few other pictures before it was time for Emma to go and see the Registrars. The String Quartet played as Emma took her Father’s arm and entered the Pavilion for the Ceremony. After the Ceremony the Guests followed Emma and Ben to the front of the house for the Drinks Reception. Everyone enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the sunshine whilst we took some informal pictures. During the afternoon we arranged the requested family group pictures. Taking Emma and Ben for a walk around the grounds later was very nice, especially through the bluebells.Fennes Wedding Photography Before the WeddingBreakfast the Wedding Guests threw confetti over Emma and Ben in the Gold Room. After the Wedding Breakfast it was time for the Speeches. For early evening entertainment Emma and Ben had arranged the fabulous Caricaturist Steve Hearn  to provide caricatures. After Emma and Ben had their caricature we managed to steal them away for a few evening pictures. When we returned a few minutes later their evening Guests were arriving. After Emma and Ben had cut their Wedding Cake they took to the dance floor for their First Dance. Fennes Love sign on dance floorTo finish our coverage of Emma and Ben’s lovely Wedding, the sun was setting and off we went to capture it. Fantastic! Fennes sunset wedding photos

Wedding Photography Fennes for Amanda & Nick

The wonderful Fennes was the Wedding Venue chosen by Amanda an Nick for their relaxed mid afternoon Wedding. What a good choice it was! It was a nice day for their Wedding and the grounds around Fennes looked superb. Our first port of call when we arrived at Fennes was to go and see Amanda who was getting ready upstairs. Everything was running smoothly, fun and laughter was a-plenty during the preparations. Meanwhile Nick was getting ready in one of the Lodges so after capturing a few of those pictures David took a few pictures of Nick and his Groomsmen outside the House. Leaving Nick to greet the Guests in the sunshine David returned upstairs to where the girls were.  By this time the girls were dressed including the Flowergirl, Bethany. Amanda’s Father came into the room to see his daughter and then we got on with taking a few set shots.

Fennes Recommended Wedding Photographer The Ceremony took place in the Pavilion with the junior Usher Callum saying a few words. Some nice moments. After the Ceremony everybody went outside to enjoy the Drinks Reception. The children amused themselves playing in the trees in the spring sunshine. A little later we got on with taking some requested family pictures, followed by some more relaxed pictures. Photography Fennes During the afternoon we took Amanda and Nick onto the Bridge for a few pictures and a walk through the trees.  The blossom was out and this made for some nice images. Amanda and Nick had some time to spend with their Guests before it was time to go through to the Pavilion for the Speeches and meal. The speeches went well, including a Speech from Amanda’s sister, Felicity, and from Amanda as well. Fennes Recommended Wedding PhotographerEveryone then enjoyed the Hog Roast. Later on there was time for a few evening pictures around Fennes finishing with a sunset and our ‘heart’ picture. Amanda and Nick cut their Wedding Cake when the Evening Guests arrived and then took to the dance floor for their First Dance.Wedding Photographer Fennes After taking some informal pictures during the evening, it was time for us to leave. A lovely Fennes Wedding! Thank you Amanda and Nick for asking us to photograph your Wedding Day, it flowed very nicely, we know you enjoyed it and we did too!

Jodie and Oliver chose the superb Fennes as the Wedding Venue to host their Civil Ceremony and Reception in the Autumn last year. The Bridal Room at Fennes was busy with final preparations taking place when we got there. Jodie’s Wedding Dress and shoes etc, were moved moved to the Fennes Suite for us to photograph them. Oliver and his Groomsmen were ready for their pictures.  The weather was good, dry and bright, so there were several places for their pictures outside away from the girls. Once these were taken David who then rejoined the girls.  Once Jodie was dressed, her Father came upstairs to see her before we got on with taking a few pictures. After these pictures, it was time for everyone to make their way downstairs.  Recommended Wedding Photographer FennesThe Pavilion looked lovely, the set up for Jodie and Oliver’s Wedding was the other way today. After seeing the Registrars it was time for the Ceremony.  Jodie and her Father followed the Bridesmaids into the Pavilion. Fennes Wedding PhotographersThe Pavilion had been turned around for the Wedding Breakfast and this happened shortly afterwards. After the Speeches we took Jodie and Oliver for a little while for some evening pictures inside and outside of Fennes.Fennes Recommended Wedding Photographer Jodie and Oliver cut their Wedding Cake and then took to the dance floor for their First Dance.  It was later that we left them to continue the evening celebrations and party. It was lovely day when we met  Paula and Jason again in the Autumn last year for their Pre-Wedding photo-shoot. Our arranged meeting point was The Beth Chatto Gardens, Colchester.  Deciding to take some pictures of Paula and Jason first we started our wander around the superb gardens. We were spoilt for choice with the variety of different areas and made full use of them.  Happy with the pictures we took we then went for a coffee and a cake and had a chat with Paula and Jason about their Wedding at Fennes in the Spring this year.

Fennes Wedding Photographs for Louisa and David

It was a day of changeable weather for when we went for Fennes Wedding Photographs for Louisa and David. Just after we arrived at the lovely Fennes, Louisa and the girls arrived with the Flowergirls. Giving them time to settle in we went off and took a few pictures of general details around Fennes. Returning to the girls little later, everything was going well, whilst David with his Groomsmen and boys were getting ready in the Bridal Cottage.  The girls with their hair already finished then proceeded to get dressed. The men and boys were ready for some pictures first, so we got on with taking theirs. Leaving them to talk to the Guests, it was now time to turn all our attention to Louisa and the girls. After a few pictures, we had enough time to take a few bridal portraits of Louisa, before it was time for them all to go downstairs.Fennes Recommended Wedding PhotographerThe sudden shower of rain put paid to the outside Ceremony which the Fennes Staff had to quickly rearrange indoors.  Clark, Louisa and David’s son, was giving Louisa away and did a grand job of escorting her down the aisle. Following the Ceremony, the rain had stopped and it brightened up so we were able to take the requested family pictures outside. It was a good job we did them then because as we finished the big group picture it started to rain again! We captured some informal pictures of the Drinks Receptions inside and took Louisa and David into the Library for a few pictures of the two of them.Fennes Wedding Photographs for Louisa and DavidIt was  one of those days where the sun then came out again so we managed a couple of outdoor pictures also. Just before the Wedding Breakfast everyone showered confetti over Louisa and David.  Following the Wedding Breakfast, it was time for the Speeches. After David’s Speech, Clark said more than a few words which he delivered very well indeed, emotions were running high! It turned out to be a lovely evening weather wise, garden games were available for those that wanted to play them, whilst others walked around the nice grounds of Fennes. Louisa and David had a couple of pictures taken on the bridge before a couple of pictures with all their children, Millie, Taylor, Samuel and Clark.   Fennes Wedding PhotographerThe cake cutting and First Dance took place in the Pavilion.  Finishing our coverage of Louisa and David’s Wedding Day we took a couple of night shots, as well as the’heart’shot. A wonderful set of Fennes Wedding Photographs for Louisa and David and a wonderful day.Recommended Wedding Photographer Fennes

Wedding Photographs Fennes for Kerry & Asif

Wedding Photographs Fennes for Kerry & Asif  was a nice assignment a couple of months ago.  Kerry was getting ready in the Bridal Room in Fennes whilst Asif  was over in the Cottage. Preparations were going well, we just had our fingers crossed, the rain would stop for Asif’s pictures before the start of the Wedding.  Thankfully it did and we were able to take Asif’s pictures together with his Groomsmen outside Fennes once they were ready.  They then greeted the Guests downstairs in Fennes, whilst we returned upstairs as the girls were ready. We got on with taking a few pictures of them.

Fennes Recommended Wedding Photographer  As the Guests made their way into the Pavilion for the ceremony, the girls came downstairs and Kerry met with the Registrars. During the Ceremony, Imani sang a song whilst playing the Guitar. Kerry and Asif left the Pavilion accompanied by their Guests and went outside. The rain had stopped which made everyone much happier! Making the most of the weather we got on with taking the requested family pictures first off. During the Drinks Reception  Kerry and Asif spent time with their Guests allowing us to capture some natural pictures.Wedding Photographs Fennes Essex Confetti pictures were taken in the Gold Room just before the Wedding Breakfast. The Speeches followed, including one from Thierry.Recommended Wedding Photographer FennesThere was time  in the early evening for a few pictures with Kerry and Asif around Fennes before the start of the Evening celebrations..Fennes Recommended Wedding Photographer A little while later Kerry and Asif cut their Wedding Cake and had their first dance together as man and wife. For the sunset pictures that evening, the best place for the pictures was a quick ride in our car to get to it!  Happy with our coverage of Kerry and Asif’s Wedding we returned them to their Guests and said our goodbyes. Another nice set of Wedding Photographs at Fennes.
