Fennes Wedding Photography for Lynne & Gerry

It was great to be back for Fennes Wedding Photography for Lynne and Gerry. The sun was shining when we arrived at Fennes on the morning of their Wedding.

Lynne and Gerry chose to have a Church Ceremony at the lovely St Mary’s Church, Bocking, Both Lynne and Gerry were getting ready at Fennes before the Ceremony so we were there to capture the goings on. All preparations were running smoothly. This allowed us time to take a few formal pictures as well of Gerry with his Groomsmen and some Bridal portraits of Lynne later on.

Gerry left for the Church immediately after we had taken his pictures and the Horse and Carriage arrived at the front of Fennes. Gerry had no idea this was the mode of transport for Lynne to get to the Church and for their return to Fennes later. Once we had taken Lynne’s pictures, off she went in the Horse and Carriage accompanied by her Mother and Father. We had time at the Church for a few informal pictures before Lynne arrived.

The Ceremony

Walking up the path, Lynne took her Father’s arm and after speaking with the Vicar went into the Church. Gerry’s three daughters delivered some nice readings during the service. Once the formalities of the Ceremony were over, Lynne and Gerry walked down the aisle and out of the Church.

It was a bright, dry day but slightly windy day for the pictures taken at the Church. After a few requested pictures the Guests lined the path towards the gate. Usually, the Guests throw confetti over the happy couple as they leave but today it was not so. The confetti had been left at Fennes, so instead they just cheered and clapped Lynne and Gerry as they exited the Church. A surprise to everyone was the Horse and Carriage!

Fennes Wedding Reception

It was a lovely relaxed afternoon spent at Fennes with the Drinks Reception being held outside and lots of socialising going on.

Occasionally in the afternoon this was interrupted by us taking a few other pictures including pictures of Lynee and Gerry on the bridge.Before the start of the Wedding Breakfast petals were thrown over Lynne and Gerry in the corridor before entering the Pavilion. Speeches were after the meal.

Sunset!

There was a nice sunset so very quickly we were able to take Lynne and Gerry for this. The evening celebrations then began.

Evening Guests arrived and joined in with the other Guests as Lynne and Gerry cut their Wedding cake. They then took to the dance floor for their First Dance. Dancing continued during the evening but it was soon time for us to say our goodbyes. A wonderful day of Fennes Wedding Photography. Congratulations to Lynne and Gerry.

Fennes Wedding Photographers for Lisa & Nathan

We were the Fennes Wedding Photographers for Lisa and Nathan’s Wedding.

Bridal Preparations

Arriving at Fennes we made our way upstairs to see Lisa. Lots of preparations were taking place so it was full on. We took pictures of Lisa’s Wedding Dress and Accessories in the John Dorwood Suite, as there was more room to move around and it was cooler to work in. It was easy to go between the rooms as and when it was necessary.

The Men

Nathan was getting ready at Fennes so David went off to find him and the Groomsmen. Once they were ready they had some pictures taken outside in the grounds.

Once the finishing touches were applied for the make-up and hair the Bridesmaids got changed into their Bridesmaid Dresses. Lisa went to put on her Wedding Dress, assisted by her Mother. Lisa wanted to surprise her Bridesmaids with the ‘big reveal’. We took a few Bridal Portraits of Lisa before we moved back to the Bridal Changing Room. Some nice ‘moment’ pictures when this happened. After taking a few pictures of them it was time to go! Lisa’s Father was waiting at the bottom of the stairs and as usual this made a lovely picture.

Outdoor Ceremony

Once it was time, the Bridesmaids led the way across the grass to the Gazebo. It was a beautiful day, the Gazebo looked lovely, decorated with many flowers and as they all walked out it was a wonderful picture. After the Ceremony, everyone enjoyed the Drinks Reception.

Family Pictures

Lisa and Nathan wanted some family pictures which we did after they had time to socialise with their Guests. Fennes bridge, of course, was used for some of their pictures later on, finishing with a few minutes around the grounds. A greeting line was held before Lisa and Nathan entered the Pavilion for the Wedding Breakfast. The Speeches followed and then Lisa and Nathan cut their Wedding Cake.

Evening Fun

It was such a lovely evening, the outside was popular with many Guests. Lisa and Nathan wanted a few more ‘fun’ pictures and it was the right time to do these. Sunset beckoned a little later. Lisa and Nathan had time to mingle with their Guests after this before their First Dance. It was not long after this we said our ‘goodbyes’. The end to another day being Fennes Wedding Photographers.

Fennes Wedding Photography for Dana & Trevor

The next job in the summer last year was Fennes Wedding Photography for Dana & Trevor. A glorious sunny day made Fennes looked beautiful.

The Girls

We arrived at Fennes and went to the Bridal Suite. It was pretty lively as you can imagine with lots of preparations going on. David and I kept ourselves busy with photographing Dana’s Wedding Dress and Accessories, always with an eye open as to the happenings.

The Men

During this time Trevor and his Groomsmen and the Pageboys arrived. Once they had gone to their rooms and settled in David went over to take some pictures of their preparations. It wasn’t long before they were dressed and ready to do some pictures. These didn’t take very long so they were able to meet the Wedding Guests. Relaxed moments captured as Guests sat around at the tables or wandered around the grounds. Upstairs in the House, all preparations were coming together.

The girls were dressed and Dana was almost dressed being helped by Chanelle, her daughter. Barry, Dana’s Brother, who was giving her away, couldn’t resist coming upstairs and seeing Dana. Special moments. The two Pageboys had a sneak preview as well! We got with taking a few pictures of Dana with her Bridesmaids and a few Bridal Portraits before going downstairs.

The Wedding Ceremony

It was to be an outdoor Ceremony so everyone set up in the Gold Room. The Pageboys were the Ring Bearers as well and when the doors opened they were the leaders to the Gazebo for the Ceremony to take place.

When the Ceremony was finished Dana and Trevor walked down the aisle and when they reached the end they had a little dance! Some lovely reactions and pictures! After taking the ‘everybody’ shot we moved to under the trees where it was shaded forthe requested family pictures. Once these were finished everyone socialised during the Drinks Reception with the Harpist entertaining them. We had fun later with the relaxed Bridal party pictures. We took Dana and Trevor for a short walk around Fennes during the afternoon before the confetti pictures.

Dana and Trevor greeted their Guests before the Wedding Breakfast began.

After the meal and Speeches everyone made the most of the evening sunshine by being in the grounds.

The Evening Celebrations

This was the time when Dana and Trevor had a few extra pictures taken around Fennes. Dana then changed her dress just before the start of the evening celebrations. After cutting their Wedding Cake, it was First Dance time. Great dance moves from this Bride and Groom!

Finishing our Fennes Wedding Photography of Dana and Trevor’s big day was a sunset picture. A beautiful ending for a lovely couple!

Fennes Wedding Photography for Lauren & Matt

Fennes Wedding Photography for Lauren & Matt. It was a beautiful bright sunny day although it was windy.

After arriving at Fennes we went upstairs in the House to see Lauren. Preparations were going well with lots going on.

David went off to find Matt and the Groomsmen who were getting ready here as well. After a few final preparation pictures the boys were ready for some pictures. Outside they went, making the most of a dry day and the different places Fennes has to offer for pictures.

The Wedding Guests were arriving so Matt and the Groomsmen greeted them. Upstairs in the Bridal Room the Bridesmaids were ready to change into their Dresses. Lauren’s turn for final preparations!

The Flowergirls came and had a look at Lauren in her Wedding Dress as soon as she was ready . She looked lovely, her Father came into the room to see her before we got on with taking some Bridal pictures.

Matt had seen the Registrar so the Guests took their seats in the Pavilion for the Ceremony. Lauren saw the Registrar afterwards and then it was time for Lauren to make her way to the Ceremony. The Bridesmaids and Flowergirls went before Lauren into the Pavilion.

Fennes Wedding Ceremony

Following the Ceremony everyone went outside for a group picture before going back inside for the Drinks Reception. Once Lauren and Matt had spent some time socialising with their Guess we continued with the pictures. It was too windy to stay outside for long so we made the most of all the rooms inside at Fennes.

Windy Wedding

Keeping the guests inside was best and no problem at all. During the afternoon we took Lauren and Matt for a stroll around the gardens including going on the Bridge. The Daffodils made a lovely backdrop to Lauren and Matt’s together pictures.

Just before the Wedding Breakfast the Guests threw confetti over the couple in the Gold Room.

The Wedding Breakfast

During the meal everyone was entertained by a Singer. A nice sunset and we managed to take a couple of pictures of this in between the courses of the meal. The Speeches followed, these were very good.

The Evening Party

The Evening Guests arrived a little later and the evening celebrations began. There was a little time for us to take Lauren and Matt for a few evening pictures around Fennes.The bouquet toss and cake cutting followed soon after and then the First Dance.

Once we had a selection of pictures of the evening Guests we then said our goodbyes. It was wonderful Fennes Wedding Photography for Lauren & Matt. Two lovely people.

Justine & Glyn's Fennes Wedding

Justine & Glyn’s Fennes Wedding

It was a lovely day for the Fennes Wedding of Justine and Glyn .

We started with a visit to Justine in the Bridal Room where preparations were going very well. Justine was enjoying sipping her Champagne.

Justine and Glen wanted their Wedding to be fairly relaxed and from the outset that was what it was. Once Glyn was ready, together with his Groomsmen, they had a few pictures taken on the lawn. Justine’s Dad was looking forward to greeting Justine at the bottom of the stairs, which he did and seeing his daughter ready to get married.

The Wedding

When it was time Justine and her Father walked into the Pavilion for the Ceremony to begin. Afterwards everyone went outside at the front of Fennes for the Drinks Reception.

The weather was fine and for the remainder of the afternoon everyone stayed outside. During this time Justine and Glyn requested a few pictures which we took but we also ended up with a variety of informal shots.

During the short walk around Fennes grounds with Justine and Glyn we captured some them in some nice relaxed photographs. Just before the Wedding Breakfast the Guests showered Justine and Glyn with confetti.

Just prior to the speeched we took the happy couple for a sunset picture. Justine and Glyn had invited a lot of Evening Guests and they were arriving just as the speeches finished .Justine and Glyn spent time with them for a little while.

The Evening Reception

Cutting the cake preceded the First Dance after which their Guests joined them on the dance floor and the celebrations got into full swing!When we felt we were happy with our coverage of Justine and Glenn’s Wedding we said our ‘goodbyes’.

A very happy Fennes Wedding day for Justine and Glyn and we were also very happy to be a part of it.

Fennes Wedding Photography – Emma & Will

Fennes Wedding Photography – Emma & Will

Wedding Photography Fennes – Emma and Will chose the popular and wonderful Wedding Venue of Fennes for their summer Wedding.

It was a hot day for Emma and Will’s outdoor Wedding. We arrived at the Fennes Estate in plenty of time to capture the preparations for both Emma and Will. Emma was getting ready in the house whilst Will was getting ready in the Cottage. Once Will and his Groomsmen were ready, they had a few pictures taken around the grounds. Will and his Groomsmen then greeted the Guests as they arrived. Upstairs in the House Emma was being helped into her Wedding Dress by her Bridesmaids. When Emma was dressed, she looked stunning, Mum came into the room with Zachary, Emma and Will’s son, some lovely moments. After a few pictures, Emma went down the stairs where her Father was waiting before then going to see the Registrars.

The Guests were taking their seats outside for the Ceremony. The Fennes white umbrellas were being used as sunshades as it was so hot! The Bridesmaids were the first to walk to the Gazebo, followed by Emma holding her Dad’s arm. After the Ceremony we took the ‘everybody’ picture before the Drinks Reception. Emma and Will then had time to mingle with their Guests during the Drinks Reception.

The Picture Session

The family pictures and some fun Bridal Party pictures were taken in our usual relaxed maner. Before the Wedding Breakfast we took Emma and Will’s pictures around Fennes. We finished with a posed cake shot and some confetti shots in the Gold Room.

The Guests were seated in the Pavilion for the Wedding Breakfast Emma and Will made their entrance. We left them all to enjoy the meal and the rest of the their Wedding Day.

Fennes Wedding Photography for Elena & James

Fennes Wedding Photography – What a wonderful day for a beautiful Wedding at the glorious Fennes! We were so looking forward to Elena & James’ Summer Wedding at Fennes.

On arrival we made our way upstairs to where Elena and the girls were getting ready. James and his Groomsmen were getting ready in the house as well so after saying ‘hello’ to the girls, David went off to find James.

Preparations were going well in both camps. Once James and his Groomsmen were ready their pictures were taken around the grounds of Fennes. After that they socialised with the Guests spending the time outside enjoying the lovely weather. Elena was soon ready but before we took some pictures Elena’s Father came into the room to see her. A few family and Bridal pictures were taken before Elena went down the stairs to see the Registrar.

Elena and James chose to have their Wedding Ceremony outdoors. Being so hot the Guests waited until the last moment for taking their seats on the lawn. They didn’t have long to wait,

The ceremony

Elena accompanied by her Father came out of the house and walked over to the Gazebo. After the Ceremony, as everyone took the Reception Drinks we took the ‘everybody’ picture and a couple of requested pictures. That was enough in the sun, time to move to the the shade of the trees for the rest of the pictures. It was a very relaxed afternoon and this allowed pictures not be rushed and gave time to Elena and James to talk to their Guests.

Elena and James wanted some fun shots so later on we did those and took them for a quick walk around the grounds for their pictures, finishing inside for a couple as well. The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Pavilion and once the Guests were seated Elena and James made their entrance. After the meal it was time for the Speeches.

There is usually time between the end of the meal and the start of the evening celebrations for extra pictures with the Bride and Groom and Elena and James wanted to do some more and some fun pictures! Aware that their Evening Guests were starting to arrive we made sure we returned so they could greet them.

The Dancing !!

When Elena and James cut their Wedding Cake a bit later on they then had their First Dance. The Guests then joined them on the dance floor. .A little while later a surprise for everyone! Moldovan dancers took to the dance floor and performed a variety of dances. Everyone clapped as they performed their dances. Wonderful! Now it was the Bride and Groom’s turn to join in followed by Guests if they wanted to. The dance floor was packed! Superb! Great pictures!

David and I after taking some informal pictures during the evening and stepping out with Elena and James for the sunset, made ourselves scarce for a bit. We knew what was coming next! When the time was right, the DJ asked the Guests to go outside. Awaiting them there were Sparklers! With lots of Sparklers lit, the Guests made two lines so Elena and James could walk down the middle. Great pictures.! What a way to finish our coverage of Elena and James’ Wedding! A lovely couple and a fantastic day was had!

Fennes Wedding Photography – Chrissy & Mick

Fennes Wedding Photography – Chrissy and Mick chose the wonderful Fennes for their Spring Wedding this year. Chrissy was getting ready in the Bride’s Room when we arrived, hair and make up well underway.

Mick was finishing off his preparations downstairs so after saying ‘hello’ to Chrissy, David went to find out how things were going. Once the men were ready they had some pictures taken outside. ‘His’ and ‘Her’s’ cars were parked in front of Fennes, ready for pictures now and later. Chrissy was soon ready for her pictures.

The Wedding Ceremony

Chrissy and Mick’s grandchildren were downstairs waiting to play their part in the Wedding. After Chrissy’s meeting with the Registrars it was time for the Ceremony. The Wedding Ceremony was held in the Pavilion and the children led the way before Chrissy taking herDad’s arm entered the room. After the Ceremony everyone went outside for the Drinks Reception. It was such a lovely day weather wise, just right for everyone to enjoy themselves around the grounds of Fennes. It was great to be outdoors, the garden games were out for everyone to play with. A lovely afternoon, filled with lots of laughter and fun. After a few requested pictures during the afternoon, we took Chrissy and Mick for a short walk around the grounds, amongst the bluebells and on the bridge. Confetti pictures were before the Wedding Breakfast and after the meal it was time for the Speeches.

The Evening Celebrations

The evening light afterwards was right for a few more pictures later on. During the evening we took some informal pictures capturing the enjoyment of the day. Chrissy and Mick cut their Wedding Cake before their First Dance then Guests joined them on the dance floor. The sunset was glorious, not to be missed! Afterwards Chrissy and Mick returned to their Guests to continue the celebrations. Congratulations Chrissy and Mick on your Wedding! It’s a pleasure knowing you! You are such a fun loving couple, we so enjoyed working with you. Thank you for asking us.
