By doing a good job over many years we have become a recommended supplier of Wedding Photography at a number of Venues, without asking, It was a particular pleasure to be asked by a fellow Photographer if we would mind discussing our services with her son’s girlfriend, Lauren!

After a number of years in the trade Lauren opened her own bridal boutique in Halstead this year called Nell’Amore and wanted to be able to recommend an experienced high quality Photographer to compliment her services. Sandra and I visited Lauren for a chat and following a really relaxed meeting it was a delight to be asked by Lauren to provide cards and a sample Album so she could recommend us!

As they say ‘life is a two way street’ and it is totally appropriate that having been to Lauren’s shop we can easily say that it has a wonderful professional atmosphere with excellent stock. Definitely worth a visit for those looking for Wedding Dresses, Bridesmaid Dresses, Jewellery, Veils, and Shoes. Lauren is a lovely person and together with her team will make this a wonderful experience!

Wedding Photography for Susannah & Paul – St Andrew's Church, Bulmer & Smeetham Hall Barn, Bulmer

The Black Lion Hotel, Long Melford, was where Susannah chose to get ready for her Wedding to Paul and what a good choice it was. With the Sancerre Suite having a lovely room to take photographs in and have photographed in there before we were delighted to do so again. After taking some detail pictures and getting ready pictures, a few pictures of Susannah were taken before leaving to go to the beautiful Church, St. Andrew’s Church, Bulmer. Paul, his Best Men and Ushers were greeting Guests at the Church, so in between we took a few pictures of them all. With Paul safely inside, Susannah entered the Church with her Father. Following the service, some family group shots were taken outside the Church, before the Guests lined the way along the avenue of trees for the confetti pictures. An unexpected shower of rain hurried this up though! On arrival at Smeetham Hall Barn, with not a rain shower in sight everybody enjoyed socialising in the grounds. A short walk around the grounds with Susannah and Paul followed resulting in some lovely images before the Wedding Breakfast. Speeches followed and as the sun set this allowed us a wonderful opportunity for some extra pictures for Sussanah and Paul. First Dance photographs were superb, Susannah and Paul entertained their Guests with a wonderful rehearsed dance, before their Guests joined them on the dance floor.

Pre-Wedding Pictures

It was great to meet Estelle and Wayne recently for their pre-wedding pictures. Hylands House, Chelmsford, was our meeting point and we took a few images of Estelle and Wayne around the grounds. Estelle and Wayne are getting married at The Fennes Estate, Bocking, shortly.

We met Karla and Richard one morning in Dedham, Suffolk and had an enjoyable stroll along the river chatting as well as taking a few pre-wedding pictures. Karla and Richard are getting married soon at Yaxley Hall, Suffolk.

Wedding Photography for Vanessa & Geoff – Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon

It was a pleasure to be able to photograph Vanessa and Geoff ‘s Wedding Day. Our day started at The Marks Tey Hotel where both Vanessa and Geoff were getting ready. David went to take some pictures with the Boys with the Vintage American Car, whilst I went off to the Girls. Vanessa and Geoff’s two children, Keira and Lauren, who were the Flowergirls, were enjoying getting dressed into their posh dresses, together withVanessa and the rest of the party who were getting themselves ready as well. After a few pictures at the Hotel we left to get to Crabbs Barn, just after Geoff’s departure , making sure we were at Crabbs Barn with time to spare before the arrival of Vanessa. Following the Civil Ceremony, everybody enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the warm sunshine, in between some group photographs. We took Vanessa and Geoff for a short while for a pictures of them together around the lovely grounds of Crabbs Barn. Following the Wedding Breakfast and coverage of the Speeches and with it being such a lovely evening, Vanessa and Geoff wanted a few more pictures. The Cornfield down the road was where we wanted to take a few images, a quick trip in our car was needed! It was well worth the effort! Sunset pictures together with evening Guest pictures and coverage of the First Dance ended our day.

Wedding Photography for Zoe & Matt – St James' Church, High Wych & The Reid Rooms

It was already a beautifully hot summer’s day when we arrived nice and early at Marks Hall Farmhouse at The Reid Rooms, Margaret Roding, and greeted Zoe, who was having the finishing touches applied to her hair and make-up. After a few detail pictures and when Zoe was dressed we moved into the lovely lounge to create her portrait pictures using beautiful soft light from the window. Zoe and Matt’s sunflower colour scheme for their Wedding was fabulous, just right for their special day. On arrival at St James’ Church, High Wych, David went to see Matt who was in the pub opposite, whilst I photographed Guest arrivals. We took a few pictures of Matt and his Groomsmen outside the Church before Zoe arrived. After the service Zoe and Matt came out of the beautiful Church and headed towards the shade to greet their Guests and have some requested pictures taken. Zoe and Matt left the Church through a shower of confetti for their journey to the Reid Rooms. A Drinks Reception awaited everybody in the courtyard at The Reid Rooms. With ample opportunities for lovely photographs and having the time to take them we achieved some wonderful images. Wedding Breakfast and Speeches followed and time allowed us to take Zoe and Matt for a short time around the grounds for some early evening together pictures, which turned out to be great fun, thank you Zoe and Matt! Evening Guests arrived for the evening celebrations and after the First Dance we ended our day.
