We arrived at Lisa and Nicholas’ home to a hive of activity, with Bridesmaids, Flowergirls and Pageboys getting dressed for the big day! All was going well, although as always the last hour of preparations goes twice as quick. Whilst Lisa was getting ready we were able to take some pictures of all the attendants outside, followed by a few pictures of Lisa. Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Witham was Lisa and Nick’s choice of where to be married and what a lovely Church it is! Nick and his Groomsmen were at the Church greeting Guests, so after a couple of pictures, Lisa arrived ready for the service.
After the service with clouds threatening we took a few requested family photographs outside the Church and left to go to Crabbs Barn for the Reception. Despite a rain shower we were able to go outside at Crabbs Barn for their pictures. Brandon and Isabelle, Lisa and Nick’s children, enjoyed being outside and provided us with some relaxed shots, as did the Wedding Guests. After covering the Speeches after the Wedding Breakfast we were able to take Lisa and Nick for some bridal portraits, finishing with some evening photographs.

Wedding Photography for Katie & Paul – Marquee, Tendring
Our coverage of Katie and Paul’s Wedding started as Paul arrived at St Edmund King & Martyr Church at Tendring, Essex, prior to the arrival of their Guests. We were able to take some photographs of Paul and his Groomsmen by themselves followed by some informal pictures of them greeting the Guests.
The sun was shining when Katie, her Bridesmaids and Parents arrived and after taking a few pictures of them all, it was time for the Wedding service to begin. After the service we promptly got on with the requested family group photographs before leaving the Church.
On the way to the Reception at the family home we had allowed enough time to stop off at a cornfield for a few portraits of Katie & Paul.
Once at the Reception, Guests had arrived and were relaxing in the wonderful garden enjoying a Drinks Reception. As we had a few pictures to catch up on as we did not go to Katie’s house beforehand, we took these, ensuring Katie and Paul had time to mingle with everybody as well. With a lovely setting we captured some relaxed pictures of the Wedding and before long it was time for the Wedding Breakfast, when we left everybody to continue enjoying the day. -
Wedding Photography for Judith and Cameron – St. Mary's Church, Bocking and Fennes, Bocking
We started our coverage of Judith and Cameron’s Wedding at The Fennes Estate,Bocking. Preparations were going well and after a few pictures of Judith, her Parents and Bridesmaids in the lovely rooms of Fennes, we left to go St. Mary’s Church, Bocking for the Church service.
Cameron and his Groomsmen were greeting Guests as we arrived and after capturing a few photographs of the men we awaited the arrival of Judith. With a blue sky and fluffy white clouds it was a glorious setting as Judith made her way into Church. After the service and a few family photographs outside the Church, Judith and Cameron left to go to Fennes covered in confetti! The couple and their Guests enjoyed a Drinks Reception outside, interrupted at times for various requested photographs. For Judith and Cameron’s pictures a short walk around Fennes provided them with some wonderful relaxed images.
Following the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, and as Judith and Cameron (as well as us!) wanted to have some more pictures taken we used the beautiful insides of Fennes as our settings. We had planned a few outside but the rain put paid to that! After capturing a wonderful set dance routine, we took some pictures of the evening Guests, taking our time, as we knew there was going to be a surprise later for everybody. A superb surprise firework display ended a wonderful day for us whilst everyone else returned inside to carry on the celebrations.
Congratulations to Cameron on his Distinction and his Appointment as a Doctor. -
Wedding Photography for Sarah & Steve – Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel, Leavenheath
At Sarah’s Parents’ house final bridal preparations were taking place when we arrived. After taking a few pictures we left to go to Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel,Golf & Spa for the Wedding. Steve and his Groomsmen were busy with their final preparations when we arrived but we were able to prise them away from their duties for a few minutes for their photographs. The Ceremony was held in the Constable Room, followed by a Drinks Reception. Whilst everybody enjoyed the Drinks Reception, Sarah, Steve and ourselves went down to the Lake for a short time for some Bride and Groom portraits. Sarah and Steve were able to enjoy mingling with their Guests when we returned before the Wedding Breakfast in the Devora Suite. During the evening we had the opportunity of taking a few pictures of Sarah and Steve and some evening Guests before confetti and First Dance pictures.

Wedding Photography for Sarah & Mark – Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel, Leavenheath
We arrived at Sarah’s Parents’ home for the final bridal preparations just as the heavens opened, but fortunately after this quick shower that was the end of the rain for the day. Lots of activity was going on at home with Sarah and Mark’s daughter, Maisie, being one of the six flower girls. All things were going well and we took some lovely pictures in the garden before making our way to St. James the Less Church, Colchester. Photographing in this Church is great as it provides us with many different places to discreetly take pictures from. After taking a few pictures of Mark and his Groomsmen, Sarah arrived with her Bridesmaids and Flowergirls.
Following the Church service and after formal picture and confetti shots we left to go to Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel & Golf Club. Whilst Sarah and Mark’s Guests enjoyed a Drinks Reception, we took the opportunity to go to the Lake with Sarah and Mark for their pictures. After a short interval we took a few requested family photographs before the Wedding Breakfast. Following the Speeches, it was a lovely evening outside for the fun Bridal Party shots and evening sunset pictures, before going back inside for the First Dance.
Pyrotechnics made for some brilliant photographs during the First Dance pictures before we left them all to continue the evening celebrations.
