It was a beautiful spring day for the Wedding of Sarah and James at The Fennes Estate, Bocking. Sarah and her Bridesmaids were busily getting ready with everything going very smoothly. James was also getting ready at Fennes and when he was ready he greeted the arrival of the first Guests for their Wedding, before some pictures of him , his Best Man and Ushers. Sarah was very soon ready and together with her Bridesmaids had a few pictures taken before the Civil Ceremony. Following the Ceremony, Sarah and James led their Guests through the House and outside for the Drinks Reception. Guests enjoyed the warm sunshine whilst we got on with a few requested family group pictures. Fun and laughter took place during some bridal party pictures before we managed to take Sarah and James for a litte while for their pictures. 
Sarah and James had a few pictures in the Red room before it was time for confetti pictures and the Wedding Breakfast. Speeches followed before a break before the evening. Being such a lovely day, Sarah and James had a wonderful sunset picture before it was time for the First Dance.
We took some evening Guest pictures, before James and the Wedding Guests were given a surprise with a rehearsed dance by Sarah and the girls! The response by the boys, an unrehearsed dance! Great fun, lovely atmosphere, wonderful captured images of the day!

Wedding Photography for Vicki & Dan – Fennes
Vicki and Dan chose the popular Fennes Estate for their Wedding and had a fantastic day to remember! Vicki and her Bridesmaids were getting ready upstairs at Fennes, whilst Dan and his Groomsmen were getting ready in one of the Lodges. It was soon time for their Ceremony and Vicki looked lovely as she made her entrance into the Pavilion as did Dan in his Army uniform.
Following the Ceremony, although cold outside, everybody went outside for a couple of pictures before going inside for a few requested Groups. Later, we took a few fun bridal party pictures outside, thank you to all of you, it was really cold! 
Vicki and Dan wanted a couple of pictures on the bridge, which happened in double quick time! 
After confetti pictures in the Gold Room it was time for the Wedding Breakfast. Guests listened to the Speeches before the meal, unbeknown to them there was an extra Speech later! Vicki’s Speech was a surprise to everybody, especially Dan, and when Vicki (not a good singer!) started to sing, the Soul Singer, Dominic, appeared on the Dance Floor to rapturous applause! Dancing to his songs was followed by cake cutting and the First Dance. A brilliant day and will be remembered by us especially for Vicki jumping with joy throughout the day! -
Wedding Photography for Rebecca & Michael – St. Mary's Church, Bocking & The Fennes
Our day started at Fennes with Becky getting ready there before going to the Church. After a few final preparation pictures upstairs, we took Becky’s Bridal portraits downstairs in the Gold and Red rooms.
As Ian of Nixons Cars arrived, that was our cue to leave and head off to St. Mary’s Church, Bocking. Capturing some pictures of Mike, his Best Man and Ushers, before many of the Guests arrived was achieved and as they made their way into Church, we waited for the arrival of Becky. After the Church service and a few family photographs outside the Church, everybody left to go to Fennes for the Reception. With the light being good, whilst the Guests were still arriving, we took Becky and Mike for a few pictures on the bridge.
Prior to the Receiving Line, with the sun going down we quickly whizzed Becky and Mike outside to capture the sunset. Following the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, Becky and Mike enjoyed a little while to themselves in the Gold Room (discreetly we took a couple of pictures!), before returning to their Guests for the cutting of the Wedding cake and their First Dance.

Pre-Wedding Pictures
Gemma and Richard’s pre-wedding pictures were taken in The Public Gardens, Braintree, which is a lovely setting and provides many opportunities for some pictures. Gemma and Richard are getting married soon at The Fennes Estate, Bocking.

Wedding Photography for Pam & Dan – The Fennes, Bocking
Pam and Dan chose the lovely Fennes Estate for their Wedding in the Autumn last year. Both of them were getting ready at Fennes so we were able to capture a range of different pictures before the Civil Ceremony. Following the Ceremony in the Pavilion, Pam and Dan made their way to the front of Fennes for the release of doves.
With their Guests watching indoors as it was raining and after capturing a few photographs Pam and Dan enjoyed time socialising with their Guests during the Drinks Reception. A few requested family group pictures were taken in the Gold Room and a short time afterwards, with the rain easing off, we ventured outside with Pam and Dan. Using the Gazebo as it was dry made for some nice pictures and on our way back to the House, with the weather improved, the Bridal Party joined us for some fun, relaxed pictures outside the House.
Later the Wedding Breakfast commenced followed by the Speeches. Pam had proposed to Dan onthe 29th February and hearing the story made for some good pictures in the Speeches. Whilst their Evening Guests were arriving we took a couple of pictures of the two of them inside Fennes before their First Dance.

Wedding Photography for Sarah & Mark – St Peter & St Paul Church, Black Notley & Fennes
Our day started at Sarah and Mark’s house where Sarah, her Mum, and Sarah & Mark’s daughter, Kiera were getting ready. The day was running smoothly and it was not long before Sarah was ready for some photographs, to be joined shortly by her Mum and Kiera. After taking a few pictures of all of them we left to go to St. Peter & St. Paul Church, Black Notley. Mark was there with their son, Fraser, so we took some portraits of them before Sarah arrived. Following the church service and a few family group shots and confetti in the grounds, Fennes was our next stop.
Fennes looked beautiful as always and the Autumn colours added to the setting. Whilst the Guests were arriving, we took Sarah and Mark for a short walk around Fennes for some of their pictures. 
Later, when all Guests had arrived we took the remainder of their requested pictures as well as some informal ones. The Receiving Line preceded the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches. Before Sarah and Mark’s evening Guests arrived Sarah and Mark asked for a few pictures taken in the rooms in Fennes which we were delighted to do. Sarah tossed her Bouquet to her friends, prior to the cake cutting and First Dance. Shortly afterwards it was time for us to leave everybody to enjoy the rest of the evening.

Wedding Photography for Kavita & Sam – The Fennes Estate, Bocking
We arrived at Fennes for the Wedding of Kavita and Sam with plenty of time to capture pictures of Kavita getting ready, then moving to The Fennes Suite for some pictures of Kavita, her Family and Bridesmaids. In between times we found Sam, his Best Man and Ushers, who were greeting Guests and took a few pictures of them before they went to the Pavilion for the Civil Ceremony. After the Ceremony, with the weather not playing ball, everybody stayed in the House for the Drinks Reception. During this time we took some family group photographs in the Gold Room, mixed with a few Bridal Party pictures and a few pictures of Kavita and Sam.
David and I are always up for going outside whatever the weather if the Bride and Groom want to as well, and as Kavita had her “Weddington Boots” , we took the opportunity. With the help of a few of the Bridal Party and umbrellas, off we went to the Bridge. 
A short stop for a couple of pictures in the Gazebo, then back in the dry! Thank you to all! Wedding Breakfast and Speeches followed before Kavita and Sam left their Guests for a change of dress for their Evening Reception. Once changed, we took some photographs of the two of them before they made their entrance for the start of the Evening celebrations.
After a few dancing pictures, and relaxed, informal pictures of their Guests and evening Guests, it was time for us to leave. -
Fennes Open Day – Sunday 20th January – 11am-4pm

Wedding Photography for Estelle & Wayne – The Fennes Estate, Bocking
Estelle and Wayne chose the superb Wedding Venue, The Fennes, for their Wedding. Regardless of the weather this has to be one of the very best Venues to take photographs at and this Wedding proved to be no exception. We photographed Wayne immediately we arrived outside Fennes, knowing the rain was not going to hold off for long! Bridal preparations were going on upstairs in the Fennes Suite, giving us ample space to do so nice portraits of Estelle, her family and Bridesmaids.
Following the Civil Ceremony in the Pavilion, Guests made their way to the front of the house for the Drinks Reception. Using the Gold Room for the photographs worked well for the requested family groups, having the experience of having this happen many times certainly helps! After a break as it was still raining we took Estelle and Wayne for a walk around the inside of Fennes, stopping every now and then for a few pictures. During the Wedding Breakfast, with us being there all the way through the Wedding, we noticed the rain had stopped. Asking the couple if they wanted to go outside, we were greeted with a delighted ‘yes’. With ‘wellies’ on, off we went together with David of Rideout Productions, had great fun, capturing lovely pictures.
Following the Wedding Breakfast, Speeches followed and later Cake cutting and First Dance pictures. What a day! Thank you to Wayne and Estelle for your smiles, laughter, all day long. Great also working with Rideout as always and all the staff at Fennes.
