We wanted to say a massive thank you for Saturday. We couldn’t have wished for a better day. Everyone loved you and had so many compliments about you both. We can’t wait to see the pictures!

Wedding Photographer Hedingham Castle for Chloe & Joe
It was great to be asked to be Wedding Photographer Hedingham Castle by Chloe and Joe for their Summer Wedding. Hedingham Castle is the only active Norman Keep in Essex making it unique!
Preparations
At the Lodge by the entrance of the Hedingham Estate is where the girls’ preparations were taking place and where our day commenced. Chloe, had eight Bridesmaids, four Flowergirls and family members in the Lodge. There was a lot going on! Despite the numbers the preparations were going well.
Joe, his Groomsmen, Pageboys and family members were getting ready in the Cottage. We captured a variety of pictures of Chloe and Joe as the preparations stepped up a gear. David was with the men whilst I stayed with the girls. Once the girls all had their make up, hair finished and a couple of pictures taken they then got changed. Joe had a couple of pictures taken of himself and the men before they went up the drive to the Castle.The previous wedding at the Castle had overrun increasing the pressure on us to get the times back on track which we did! We managed to take the pictures Chloe requested as well as the more usual ones. As the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls were on their way unto the Castle there was a little time to take a few Bridal pictures of Chloe and some with her Parents. Time now for us to go to the Castle too! Soon Chloe and her Father arrived and went up the steps and into the Castle.
Candlelight Ceremony
The Guests were all seated in the Great Hall waiting for Chloe to make her entrance for the Candlelit Ceremony. A beautiful setting!
Afterwards the Guests made their way out of the Castle, down the steps and onto the lawn. Whilst this was happening Chloe and Joe had some pictures of them taken in the wonderful Minstrels’ Gallery.
After a few minutes they joined their Guests for some requested family pictures. Once these were completed the Guests lined the path over the Bridge and waited for Chloe and Joe to join them. As Chloe and Joe walked across the Bridge they covered them in confetti. Just as they reached the end of the bridge confetti cannons were let off, making for some fun pictures.
The Drinks Reception
The Guests made their way over to the House and Gardens for the Drinks Reception whilst we kept the Bridal Party back for a few pictures. They then joined the rest of the Guests after a few minutes. The weather was still holding and as usual we let the couple spend some time socialising before we we carried on with the arranged pictures. Chloe and Joe wanted a balloon ‘release’ in the garden so whilst the Groomsmen were collecting the balloons, Guests congregated by the lake.
We were lucky with the weather, just as we were returning to the House, it started to rain! It didn’t matter as it was nearly time for the Wedding Breakfast.
The Wedding Breakfast
Chloe and Joe greeted their Guests before they took their places at the tables in the Marquee. After the meal, it was time for the Speeches. The rain had not been too bad at all, so when the Speeches had finished, it was nice for everyone if they wanted to, to go outside. Garden games provided entertainment for both the adults and children. During the time before the cutting of the Cake we took some informal pictures.
Chloe wanted a picture with her Bridesmaids and ‘love’ sign on the dance floor which made a nice relaxed shot. After their First Dance, we took Chloe and Joe outside for a couple of night pictures with the Keep. This ended our day as Wedding Photographer Hedingham Castle . Thank you Chloe and Joe for the extra effort you put in to achieve your pictures. A lovely day! So nice to see Olivia and Jon again, we photographed their Wedding at Fennes a few years ago. -

This Sunday from 12-4pm we will be displaying our Wedding Photography at the Prested Hall Wedding Fair 2017. This is a wonderful Wedding Venue, come and see this Venue for yourselves and meet with a variety of Suppliers. We will be in the Prested Hall Marquee and look forward to seeing you.

Pre-Wedding Picture shoot for Charlotte & Kevin
We met Charlotte and Kevin for their Pre-Wedding picture shoot at Hylands House, Chelmsford. This was one afternoon in the summer a few weeks ago. We went for a walk around Hylands gardens chatting about the details of their forthcoming Wedding. The grounds and gardens provide many photo opportunities for some nice relaxed pictures so every now and then we stopped to take some. It was an enjoyable time, very relaxed, which is how we like it and we ended up with some nice images. We are looking forward to Charlotte and Kevin’s Wedding at Leez Priory, Chelmsford, Essex in the Autumn.

Essex Wedding Photography for Lisa & Ross
It was a beautiful day for Essex Wedding Photography for Lisa and Ross. Lisa and Ross had a small Wedding with family members and a few close friends for their Church Wedding. St James The Less Church at Little Tey was where we started our coverage from, meeting the friendly Church Wardens. This picturesque Church is a gem and it looked even more beautiful today.
Ross got on with greeting the Guests after we took a couple of pictures of him with his brother Robbie. Leaving them to carry out their duties we waited for Lisa to arrive. The Bridesmaids, Sara and Monica and Lisa’s Mother Maria arrived first, followed by Lisa with her Father.After a few pictures and when the Guests were seated they walked down the path and into the Church. Being such a small Church, a small number of Guests it was just right for an intimate Wedding Service. During the signing of the Registers, Ross’ Brother Robbie sung for the congregation which was wonderful.
With the formalities completed Lisa and Ross exited the Church, spent a few minutes with their Guests before we got on with the requested pictures. These didn’t take very long, then the Guests lined the path to shower Lisa and Ross with confetti as they walked to the cars.
The Borage Field
Earlier we had spotted the fantastic field of Borage opposite the Church so before leaving we suggested to Lisa and Ross if they wanted some pictures taken in the field. It was worth doing some and we ended up with some lovely pictures. The Guests waved to Lisa and Ross as they left to go to the Barn Brasserie at Great Tey. The Drinks Reception was held in the Courtyard and Lisa and Ross enjoyed socialising with their Guests for a little while. Later we took Lisa and Ross for a short time to walk around The Barn stopping at various places to take some pictures.
Returning there was time to take a few other pictures before it was time for the Wedding Breakfast.
This was held upstairs in The Barn and it looked wonderful. When Lisa, Ross and their Guests sat down for the meal we left them. This was a beautiful Wedding and a privilege to be asked to photograph it, thank you Lisa and Ross. -

Fennes Open Day September 2017 – Come and visit the stunning Fennes Sunday 10 September 2017 from 12-3.30pm. The Fennes Estate is a wonderful venue to hold your Wedding. Come and have a walk around and see for yourself. There will be many Suppliers of which we are one of them. On show we will have sample albums of Weddings, big and small and at different times of the year. We absolutely love working at Fennes, not only because of the setting but the way Fennes is run and the friendliness of the Staff. It would be lovely to meet with you and have a chat about your Wedding, so why not come along and see us in the Banqueting Hall.

Fennes Wedding Photographers
The sun was shining brightly when we arrived to be Fennes Wedding Photographers for the the Wedding of Najette and Bobby. After saying ‘hello’ to Naj and Tors, Naj’s Matron of Honour. David went off to find Bobby and the men. Naj was getting ready in the Bridal Changing Rooms helped by her friends. Bobby was getting ready in the Cottage.
Preparations were going well for both of them so after capturing a flavour of these Bobby and his Groomsmen were soon ready for some pictures. Making the most of the summer sunshine these were taken outside although we love taking pictures inside at Fennes as well! When these were finished they all mingled with the Guests.
Meanwhile Naj was almost ready for her pictures. Her Father came upstairs to see her before we took a few pictures and then it was time for Najette to go downstairs heading to the Ceremony. Whilst this was happening the Guests were taking their seats outside for the outside Ceremony.The Ceremony
The weather was holding, just! Naj then took her Father’s arm and made her way out of the Gold Room and into the grounds of Fennes. The Ceremony started and the clouds gathered! A couple of claps of thunder in the distance followed but fortunately the rain held off!
As the Ceremony finished the sun re-appeared and everyone enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the grounds. After having a little time to socialise we then got on with taking the requested family pictures. Naj and Bobby’s ‘together’pictures were taken during the afternoon around Fennes. We did take umbrellas with us but only needed them when we finished their pictures. Good timing! 
The Wedding Breakfast
After the confetti it was time for the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches. Before the start of the evening celebrations there was time for everyone to continue with socialising in the Pavilion or take a wander around the gardens of Fennes. It was during this time and the weather was fine we took Naj andBobby for a few minutes for a few evening pictures around the Venue and Naj and Bobby were happy to try out a couple of different pictures that we had been thinking of.
Once the Evening Guests had arrived Naj and Bobby cut their Wedding Cake. Their First Dance followed before they were joined on the dance floor by their Guests. Our final pictures of Naj and Bobby’s Wedding Day was of the sunset. Naj and Bobby are a lovely couple and were great to work with. A wonderful day! -

Engagement Session Shoot for Jasmine & Jake
With not long to go before their Wedding Jasmine and Jake came for their Engagement Session and to see us again to go over the details of their Wedding Day. Jasmine and Jake had booked us as their Wedding Photographers over a year ago so there was a lot to talk about. We filled in the details, had a chat and then went off to take some pictures of the two of them. It was a nice day so we went to one of our local areas to do the Engagement Shoot. We are looking forward to Jasmine and Jake’s Wedding at Crabbs Barn soon.

Relaxed Pre-Wedding Pictures for Stacey & Craig
Stacey and Craig came to see us one evening recently for some Relaxed Pre-Wedding Pictures. Firstly their visit was to chat and update our details of their Wedding Day. Afterwards we went for a short walk to take some pictures locally. As always this doesn’t take very long as our aim is to just get re-acquainted, find out more about our couples before their Wedding Day. It was a beautiful evening so we made use of the early evening sunlight, ending up with some nice results. We are looking forward to Stacey and Craig’s Wedding at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, soon.

Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Hayley & Jason
It was nice to be back for more Prested Hall Wedding Photography. This time for the Wedding of Hayley and Jason. Hayley, her Parents and Bridesmaids were getting ready in the Prested Apartments, situated in the Spa complex. We started our coverage from there as the girls were having their hair and make-up finished.
Hayley’s Dress and accessories were over in the main house so we made sure pictures of these were taken. Preparations were going well and it wasn’t long before the girls were ready to transfer to Prested Hall itself. Hayley’s timings were good and allowed us time to get the required photographs with her Bridesmaids and parents.
Carriage Ride to Church
The Horse and Carriage was ready for Hayley as we finished the pictures to take her with her Father to All Saints Church, Feering. David and I left to get to the Church before them and take a few pictures of Jason and his Groomsmen, who were very relaxed and enjoying the moments. We managed to complete taking Jason’s pictures before too many of the Guests arrived, then left Jason, his Best Man and Ushers to continue greeting them.
It was a beautiful day, ideal for arriving at Church in a Horse and Carriage. After taking a couple of pictures, Hayley and her Father walked towards to the Church. The Bridesmaids were first to enter the Church, then Hayley and her Father followed. Wow! The atmosphere, emotions, reactions were fantastic and these continued all the way through the service. Some wonderful moments captured!
After the Church service, everybody came outside and after a few minutes we got on with the requested family pictures. It was nice for Jason to have a large contingent of his family over from Australia, where he originates from. With the group pictures completed the Guests threw confetti over Hayley and Jason.Hayley and Jason then enjoyed the ride to Prested Hall for the Reception. The Drinks Reception awaited them and their Guests on their arrival and there was time for everyone to socialise. During the rest of the afternoon we took some fun Bridal Party pictures and a few of Hayley and Jason by themselves.
The Wedding Breakfast
The Marquee looked wonderful for the Wedding Breakfast and when the time was right the Guests everyone took their seats. The Speeches followed the meal before all the guests went outside to enjoy the evening sunshine.
The Evening
Hayley and Jason were pleased we asked them to create a few more pictures in the evening light. Moving around Prested Hall we ended up with a variety of nice relaxed and fun evening pictures. The Evening Guests were arriving when we returned so we left Hayley and Jason greeting them.
Later after cutting their Wedding Cake, they took to the dance floor for their First Dance. During the evening we captured a few informal pictures whilst waiting for the sunset. We whisked Hayley and Jason away for a little while by car for the sunset. Not to be missed! It was spectacular!
This ended our coverage of Hayley and Jason’s wonderful Wedding. A lovely couple! A great Wedding! Thank you to Hayley and Jason for such a memorable Wedding. A mention to Rachel of Prested Hall, it was nice working with you as always.
