Family Pictures
It was lovely to see Victoria and Lee again in the Summer this time for Family Pictures. We had seen them in December last year to take some pictures of their son, Hudson. This time we met them also with family members for some pictures. Victoria had purchased a Gift Voucher from us for her Mum’s Birthday and have some pictures taken when they were all together. The day chosen happened to be on one of the hottest days in the summer! When we arrived at Mum’s house the back garden was in sun so we used the grounds outside the house to start the pictures. During the afternoon we did move back into the garden for the remainder of the pictures.
It was lovely afternoon and we ended up with a variety of pictures. It was nice to meet up again with the family. The last time we saw many of them was at Victoria and Lee’s Wedding at Crabbs Barn in June 2015. We are looking forward to seeing Victoria and Lee again soon.

Wedding Photography The Lawn Rochford – Tracey & John
Tracey and John booked us for their Wedding Photography The Lawn Rochford -. It was a nice day when we arrived at The Lawn on the morning of the Wedding. We went up to the Brides Room to see Tracey first of all. Preparations were in hand and although there were a lot of Bridesmaids and Flowergirls everything was under control. After taking pictures of Tracey’s Wedding Dress, Accessories and a few other pictures the Flowergirls got dressed.
John had arrived with his Best Woman in an old Police car while the guests arrived on a Routemaster bus. Together with the Ushers, John and Sue had some pictures taken before greeting the Guests. Upstairs Tracey was getting dressed initially in another room helped by her Mother and sister as lots was going on.
Returning to the Brides Room so Tracey could finish putting on her jewellery we then took a few pictures of them all including Louis, who was in charge of Ring security! He looked brilliant!The Ceremony
The Guests were seated for the Ceremony and the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls led the way downstairs. Tracey was escorted by her Father and Uncle into the Ceremony Room. Louis caused merriment handing over the rings as this was a surprise to everyone.
After the Ceremony it was time for the Drinks Reception. Tracey and John had time to socialise with their Guests for a little while before we got on with taking the requested family group pictures. The grounds at The Lawn are superb and later we took Tracey and John for a few minutes for a short walk around. 
Pictures taken we ended up by the steps for the confetti pictures. Everyone gathered round, showering Tracey and John with confetti.The Wedding Breakfast
The Wedding Breakfast was in the Orangery and during the meal a Singer performed a few song. The Speeches followed.
As there was time available we took some fun Bridal Party pictures and a few other pictures that Tracey and John wanted. Tracey tossed her bouquet just before the cutting of the Wedding Cake and the First Dance. A little later we finished our coverage of Tracey and John’s lovely Wedding Day. -

This Wedding Venue is wonderful for either a big or small Wedding, the grounds are superb, together with the staff and Bouquet Garni the Caterers. Moreves Barn Wedding Photography for Katy & Sean
Katy and Sean booked us for Moreves Barn wedding photography. A perfect place for a summer country Wedding, we loved it! On the morning of the Wedding we travelled to The Case, Assington, which is where Katy, her Parents and Bridesmaids were staying and getting ready for the Wedding. Not only is The Case a wonderful place to stay but the food is absolutely fabulous!
Katy was enjoying her morning of getting ready and was so relaxed! Come to that so were all of them! Whilst the final preparations were taking place we took pictures of Katy’s dress and accessories. Leah, the Flowergirl looked lovely in her dress as did the Bridesmaids. Katy looked stunning in her Wedding Dress. Once her Father had come into the room and seen her we got on with the pictures. We stepped outside and found a sheltered spot as it was a touch windy.
Moreves Barn
With a few pictures taken we left them to go to Moreves Barn for the Ceremony. Sean and his Groomsmen were there and quickly took a few pictures of them before they were needed for their duties. With the guests all safely out of the way Katy arrived and went up the outside steps into the Barn. A few minutes later Katy and her Father walked down the aisle. Katy’s Grandma was able to view the Ceremony from the ground floor which was perfect.
Following the Ceremony the Guests left by one entrance, then when they all gathered in the Courtyard, Katy and Sean came down the steps and once on terra firma were showered in confetti. Everyone enjoyed the Drinks Reception outside. Katy and Sean went for a short drive in the car before we got on with the requested family pictures. There are so many photo opportunities at Moreves Barn that you are spoilt for choice, so during the rest of the afternoon we used a few of these without taking Katy and Sean away from their Guests for too long.
The Speeches and Evening Celebrations
Time for the Speeches before the Wedding Breakfast. It was a nice evening so whilst waiting for the evening Guests to arrive and the evening celebrations to begin we took Katy and Sean for a few more pictures around the grounds. Katy and Sean cut their Wedding Cake before going onto the dance floor, not for their First Dance though!
A game took place between the two of them which was amusing. After their First Dance and when we had taken a few informal pictures to capture the evening, the sunset beckoned! A massive ‘thank you’ to Katy and Sean for that extra walk for the sunset picture, it was worth it!
Happy with our coverage of Katy and Sean’s Wedding we said our ‘goodbyes’. A fantastic Wedding and a pleasure to work with such a lovely couple! It was lovely to catch up Nicola (Sean’s sister) and Kris again, we photographed their Wedding at Crabbs Barn in 2013. It was also nice to see Katherine and Matt again whose Wedding we photographed at Haughley Park Barn in 2013. This was our first Moreves Barn Wedding Photography and we thoroughly liked it, we are looking forward to working there again. -

It was nice to see Tori and Greg again one evening a couple months before their Colchester Engagement Shoot. This was also the time to meet up to and talk about their Wedding day. We arranged to meet at Highwoods County Park in Colchester early one evening. It was a good place and a nice time to choose and the weather kept fine for us as well.First of all we went for a short walk taking some pictures as we went before we filled in the remaining details about their Wedding. We are looking forward to Tori and Greg’s Wedding at Prested Hall.

A couple of months ago we were booked for some Essex Family Portraits. Alison and Mike were married at Crabbs Barn in 2013 so it was lovely to meet up with them again. This time it was to meet their son, Max for the first time. We were commissioned to capture some portraits of him and the three of them as a family. Max was only a couple of weeks old when we saw him but for someone so young he was awake and very aware of everything around him for most of the time. An enjoyable time spent with this family ending up with some nice pictures.
