Hi David and Sandra,

Happy New Year.

“David and Sandra’s work is amazing. They captured our day perfectly. They were professional, understanding, gave advice on the type of photo’s and spent time with us. The pre-wedding shoot was a chance for us to get used to each other and really built up a relationship with us. When the big day arrived we both felt really comfortable as did our guests.

Our vicar praised them as being non intrusive through the ceremony which meant that the important part of the ceremony was not dominated by a photographer. David and Sandra perfectly captured these moments without us knowing they were there.

The service they gave us from beginning to end was excellent. David and Sandra captured our personalities, the mood of the day and produced the most amazing album to treasure and can not praise them enough. We would recommend them to any future bride and groom.”

I know the above is long but I wanted to make sure we covered all aspects. Anne was really impressed with your work covering the ceremony, and said you were one of THE best photographers she has ever worked with.

Everyone who has seen the album absolutely love it. Especially the way it is laid out and how you really did capture what the day was all about.

New Born Baby Photography

Louise and Gary asked us to take some New Born Baby Photography of their son Ellis. It was lovely to see Louise and Gary again and meet Ellis for the first time. We were pleased to be asked to take memories of the family. Ellis was so good and we ended up with pictures of him on his own and together with Mummy and Daddy. We last photographed Louise & Gary at their Crabbs Barn wedding in 2016.

Vows Renewal Ceremony Fennes

We went to Fennes for a Vows Renewal Ceremony for Vanessa and Malcolm. The Ceremony was at The Fennes Estate, Bocking. Vanessa and Malcolm were joined by their family and friends for this occasion. We arrived at Fennes where Ness was getting ready helped by her Bridesmaids, whilst Malcolm was getting ready in the Cottage.

David went to see how the men were getting on whilst I stayed with Ness and the girls. Once Malcolm and his Groomsmen were ready they had a few pictures taken in front of the house.It was a lovely day and as the Guests arrived they socialised outside in the grounds and were joined by Malcolm and his Groomsmen. In the house final preparations were finished, it was nice to see Michelle of Bumblebee Bridal again, and we got on with taking some pictures of them all. With the Guests seated outside for the Ceremony, Ness came downstairs and met with Malcolm before they went into the Gold Room and then outside.

The Ceremony and Drinks Reception

It was lovely that Malcolm’s Aunt carried out the Ceremony for Ness and Malcolm. Following the Ceremony, Ness and Malcolm spent with their Guests during the Drinks Reception. During this period we also got on with taking the pictures that Ness and Malcolm requested, as well as taking some capture the moment pictures.

The Wedding Breakfast and Evening

After the confetti pictures everyone made their way into the Pavilion. There were a couple of Speeches before the Hog Roast then Ness and Malcolm cut the cakes. One of the cakes was the top tier of Ness and Malcolm’s original Wedding Cake and it was edible! There was some time available after that so we took Ness and Malcolm for a short time away from their Guests to take some pictures together with a sunset picture. Returning a little time later dancing followed. A box of dressing up items proved a hit with lots of the Guests and we were there to capture the results! Happy with our coverage of Ness and Malcolm’s Wedding Day we then said our ‘goodbyes’. Ness and Malcolm had a wonderful day and we were delighted to be asked to be part of it. Thank you, Ness and Malcolm.

Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Fayre – Sunday 7 January 2018

Our first Wedding Fair of 2018 is the lovely Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Fayre on Sunday 7 January 2018. The venue is located in the very north of Essex on the border with Sudbury, Suffolk. This Wedding Fayre is run by Sharon Donaldson of www.theweddingfayre.net. This is one of the most popular wedding shows and is usually well attended. Couples travel in from Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk! Recommended Suppliers will be on hand to talk to you about your Wedding Day plans. Do come along and have a chat. Our Stand is in the main Barn where we will have sample books for you to look through and we look forward to talking to you about your Wedding.

Smeetham Hall Barn looks magnificent even on a dull winter day!

Family Pictures

Family Pictures

It was lovely to see Victoria and Lee again in the Summer this time for Family Pictures. We had seen them in December last year to take some pictures of their son, Hudson. This time we met them also with family members for some pictures. Victoria had purchased a Gift Voucher from us for her Mum’s Birthday and have some pictures taken when they were all together. The day chosen happened to be on one of the hottest days in the summer! When we arrived at Mum’s house the back garden was in sun so we used the grounds outside the house to start the pictures. During the afternoon we did move back into the garden for the remainder of the pictures.

It was lovely afternoon and we ended up with a variety of pictures. It was nice to meet up again with the family. The last time we saw many of them was at Victoria and Lee’s Wedding at Crabbs Barn in June 2015. We are looking forward to seeing Victoria and Lee again soon.

Wedding Photography The Lawn Rochford – Tracey & John

Tracey and John booked us for their Wedding Photography The Lawn Rochford -. It was a nice day when we arrived at The Lawn on the morning of the Wedding. We went up to the Brides Room to see Tracey first of all. Preparations were in hand and although there were a lot of Bridesmaids and Flowergirls everything was under control. After taking pictures of Tracey’s Wedding Dress, Accessories and a few other pictures the Flowergirls got dressed.

John had arrived with his Best Woman in an old Police car while the guests arrived on a Routemaster bus. Together with the Ushers, John and Sue had some pictures taken before greeting the Guests. Upstairs Tracey was getting dressed initially in another room helped by her Mother and sister as lots was going on. Returning to the Brides Room so Tracey could finish putting on her jewellery we then took a few pictures of them all including Louis, who was in charge of Ring security! He looked brilliant!

The Ceremony

The Guests were seated for the Ceremony and the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls led the way downstairs. Tracey was escorted by her Father and Uncle into the Ceremony Room. Louis caused merriment handing over the rings as this was a surprise to everyone. After the Ceremony it was time for the Drinks Reception. Tracey and John had time to socialise with their Guests for a little while before we got on with taking the requested family group pictures. The grounds at The Lawn are superb and later we took Tracey and John for a few minutes for a short walk around. Pictures taken we ended up by the steps for the confetti pictures. Everyone gathered round, showering Tracey and John with confetti.

The Wedding Breakfast

The Wedding Breakfast was in the Orangery and during the meal a Singer performed a few song. The Speeches followed. As there was time available we took some fun Bridal Party pictures and a few other pictures that Tracey and John wanted. Tracey tossed her bouquet just before the cutting of the Wedding Cake and the First Dance. A little later we finished our coverage of Tracey and John’s lovely Wedding Day.
