Wedding Photography for Eilidh & Ben – Butley Priory, Woodbridge

It was an early arrival for the start of our Wedding Photography for Eilidh & Ben’s Wedding.  Eilidh was staying at the Country Lodges at Stoke by Nayland Golf Club, with members of her family who had come down from Scotland for the Wedding.  It was our first visit to the Lodges and we must say we were very impressed, contemporary, spacious and light inside with balcolnies to compliment.  With final bridal preparations taking place, it was all systems go with us taking a few detail shots and just having time for a few portraits of Eilidh, Bridesmaids and Parents, before  we left to go to St. George’s Church, Great Bromley, for the Service.  As the Flowergirls had arrived at the Church, we took a couple of pictures of them as well as capturing Ben with his ‘Beetle’! wedding-photographer-essex-st-george's-church-great-bromley With the beautiful colour scheme Eilidh and Ben had chosen, a glorious day, a Piper leading Eilidh and her Father from the Lych gate into the Church, lovely pictures! After a few family photographs, it was time for the confetti pictures and to make our way to Butley Priory, Woodbridge. The Priory looked a picture in the mid-afternoon sun especially decorated with bunting in the vintage theme the couple had chosen.  Eilidh, Ben and the Bridal party arrived in Camper Vans which made for some fun shots.wedding-photographer-essex-butley-priory-woodbridge Everybody enjoyed the cream tea and had a relaxing time socialising as David and I photographed the many accessories and details that Eilidh and Ben had made.  Afterwards, we used the coolness of the Priory for a few pictures of Eilidh and Ben. Once the Wedding Breakfast had finished Eilidh and Ben wanted a couple of pictures in the Bridal Suite and in the early evening sun around the grounds before the evening Reception, which was held in the Marquee.wedding-photographer-essex-butley-priory-woodbridge-suffolk With Eilidh and Ben’s first dance completed and a few informal pictures of  the evening guests we squeezed in a concluding evening picture of the happy couple before departing.
