  • Heather & Dan's Wedding Photography at Down Hall, Hatfield Heath

A beautifully warm sunny day heralded the start of our Wedding Photography for Heather and Dan.  Heather’s final preparations were at the stunning Down Hall, so we started there first of all, taking pictures of Heather, her Parents and the Bridesmaids before leaving for St. Andrew’s Church, Sandon.  On arrival at the Church, Dan and his Ushers were greeting the Guests and in between we took their pictures.  Heather arrived shortly after and the Wedding Ceremony began.  After the Church service and Heather and Dan had chatted to their Guests, we returned to Down Hall, where we did the majority of the family pictures and Bride and Groom portraits.  Following the Wedding Breakfast and coverage of the Speeches, the soft evening light provided us the opportunity to take a few more relaxed pictures in the grounds of Down Hall.St Andrew's Church, Sandon

  • Wedding Photography for Vicki & Sean at Crabbs Barn

For the start of Vicki and Sean’s Wedding we met Vicki and her Bridesmaids in the beautiful Guild Room at The White Hart Hotel, Coggeshall, to take some pictures of them all prior us leaving for Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon.  Whilst the Bridesmaids were travelling in the VW Lovebus, we photographed the guys outside Crabbs Barn with ‘Del Boy Reliant Robin’.  After the Ceremony Vicki and Sean took a short ride in the Lovebus whilst their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception.  After a few classic family group photographs, we spent a short time with Vicki and Sean (and Nathan of www.bamfordfilms.com, who was excellent) creating some relaxed images of themselves.  Following the BBQ by JLS Catering, which was superb, the laughter and enjoyment continued with us capturing some wonderful images, ending with a sunset picture soon after the First Dance.

  • Wedding 'Thank You'

David and I were delighted to receive a ‘thank you’ from Sandra and Drew, whose Wedding we photographed recently at The Fennes, Bocking:-

“We just wanted to say a big Thank You for the beautiful photos you took of our wedding.  You both made everyone feel at ease and we are absolutely delighted with the results.  The only problem is you have made it very difficut for us to choose the best photos for the Storybook, as there are so many great shots.  Thanks again”.

  • Wedding Photography for Janna & Stephen at Down Hall, Hatfield Heath

Janna and Stephen chose the impressive Down Hall, Hatfield Heath, for their Wedding.  Heavy rain caused us to take pictures indoors or under cover but this did not cause a problem due to our experience and the interior of a great venue.  Meeting Janna, Stephen, Thomas and Jack a few weeks previously, paid dividends on the day, gaining the boys confidence, therefore enabling us to get some wonderful pictures. Everybody was very relaxed and enjoying themselves and it was lovely to hear Janna say she hardly noticed it was raining as she was having such a fun day!  As a couple of Guests were unable to make the Wedding, Janna and Stephen invited us to join them for the Wedding Breakfast, which was very kind of them.Wedding Photo - Down Hall, Hatfield Heath

  • Real Photography?

Many Professional photographers advance their skills by attending seminars and workshops where a skilled tutor will pose and light a ‘Bride’  (very rarely a groom also!) so the delegates can learn new skills or hone old ones.  Sadly, some of the delegates use pictures they have taken as examples of their own work or ‘forget’ to say they were created on a workshop, so always ask your Photographer to show you completed real weddings, not just a few great shots!!

We are part of a committee that organises seminars and workshops in the local area on behalf of  The MPA and The BIPP so if you are interested in in advancing your professional photographic skills do get in touch.

  • Wedding Photography for Michelle & Darren

We started our day at Michelle and Darren’s house with a few pictures of Michelle and her Bridesmaids and this was followed by Darren and his Groomsmen at All Saints Church, Great Horkesley, Essex, where the Ceremony was held.  Shortly after arriving at the beautiful Westwood Park, Colchester, the afternoon was interrupted by a shower but this did not dampen the relaxed afternoon.  Afternoon tea on the lawn was followed by a BBQ held down by the Italian Lake in the evening, which made for a very enjoyable and relaxed day, finishing with a lovely sunset picture.Wedding Photo at Westwood Park Colchester

  • Wedding Photography for Sandra & Drew at The Fennes

It was a lovely warm day as we arrived at The Fennes Estate, Bocking for the Wedding of Sandra and Drew.  Whilst David was taking pictures of Drew downstairs in Fennes, I was with Sandra capturing her final preparations.  After the Ceremony the happy couple and their Guests were able to enjoy the Drinks Reception whilst the family groups were being organised.  We then took Sandra and Drew over to the Bridge at Fennes, which is a feature they wanted to utilise in their pictures.  Following the Wedding Breakfast  we had a sneak preview of their First Dance routine, which they then performed to the delight and surprise of their Guests.Wedding Photo at The Fennes
