  • Wedding Photography for Sam & Mike at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon

Our day started at Sam’s Parents’ house, where we took some pictures of Sam, her Parents and her special friends, who were helping her get ready for her special day.  Sam requested us to take pictures of the family cat, dog and tortoise, which resulted in the amusing sight of David being chased by the tortoise!  After a small Civil Ceremony at Crabbs Barn, more Guests joined them for the Drinks reception and pictures.  Following the Wedding Breakfast, we took a few pictures as the sun was setting, before the Evening Reception and First Dance. Music was provided by the band “Good Rockin Tonight”, who were excellent!  As Sam and Mike were going travelling three days after their Wedding and by working overtime we were able to produce a proof show before they went, which went down a treat!Wedding Photo - Crabbs Barn

  • Wedding Photography for Tara & Matt at The Fennes Estate, Bocking

Tara and Matt chose The Fennes Estate, for their Wedding. Tara and Matt were both getting ready in the Georgian House for their Civil Ceremony, which was being held outside in the Gazebo. After saying a quick ‘hello’ to Tara, David went to find the men to take some final preparation pictures, whilst I stayed with Tara and her Bridesmaids, capturing their preparations. Tara and Matt really wanted an outside Ceremony and as the Guests arrived and made their way to the Gazebo, fingers were being crossed regarding the weather!   Following a few pictures of Matt, then Tara, everything was ready . Tara and her Bridesmaids made a lovely picture exiting the House towards the Gazebo.  After the Ceremony, Tara and Matt made their way back to the House when the first drops of rain began to fall!  We captured some lovely natural moments of Tara, Matt and their Guests in the Reception rooms whilst waiting for the heavy shower to pass.  Fortunately it did, the sun came out, and everyone went outside for a few family photographs.  We had a good time doing some fun relaxed pictures as well, before the Wedding Breakfast.  The brilliant Irie J sang during the meal and for the First Dance, it was great to catch up with him again.Wedding Photo - The Fennes Estate

  • Wedding Photography – Rachel & Ben at Layer Marney Tower

Rachel & Ben’s choice of Venue for their Wedding was Layer Marney Tower, Essex.  Rachel and her Bridesmaids were getting ready at her Parents’ house which is where our day started.  Preparations were well underway when we arrived. As it was raining outside we took some nice pictures inside, before leaving for Layer Marney.  Ben, being in the Paras, naturally looked very smart, was greeting Guests when we arrived so in between times we managed to take a few pictures of him before the Ceremony.  As it was still raining after the Ceremony we took the family groups outside the Corsellis Room before Rachel and Ben went for a ride in the Layer Marney car and the Guests went for the Drinks Reception.  When Rachel and Ben returned we took them into the tower for a short while for a few portraits.  A break in the weather prior to the Wedding Breakfast allowed everyone to get outside for a few shots. We took some fun, informal photos outside in the early evening before the First Dance.Wedding Photo - Layer Marney Tower

  • Wedding Photography for Helen & Stephen – Hedingham Castle

Helen and Stephen chose the wonderful medieval castle at Castle Hedingham, Essex, for their Wedding.  It was a glorious day and with lots of Bridesmaids, Ushers, Flower Girls, Pageboys, Guests, with lots going on, the weather was an added advantage. Helen was getting ready in the Georgian House with all her attendants, which made for a fun and lively atmosphere, which made plenty of relaxed photographs.  Mark and his attendants arrived and we took them into the Moat in front of the Bridge for their pictures before they made their way to the Norman Keep where the Civil Ceremony was held. After the Ceremony, the Toastmaster, David Mills, helped us arrange the family groups so the Guests were not kept waiting too long for the Drinks Reception.  Just before the Wedding Breakfast we took Helen and Stephen for a few relaxed pictures by the Lake.  Following the Speeches and First Dance we took some pictures of evening Guests and finished with a couple of pictures of Helen and Stephen by the Keep. • Pre-Wedding Pictures

We had a really nice pre-wedding session with Clare and Paul recently.  They are getting married shortly at Parklands, Quendon Hall.  After meeting at their house and discussing final details of their Wedding, we travelled a short distance to where Clare’s horse, Jasper, is stabled.  Clare and Paul wanted some pictures of them with Jasper.  It was such a lovely day, so as well as taking pictures of the three of them, we took the opportunity to take a few pictures of Clare and Paul around the farm as well, resulting in some lovely pictures!Pre-Wedding Photo - Essex

  • Wedding Photography for Sue & Mark at Prested Hall, Feering

Sue and Mark’s oudoor Wedding Ceremony was changed at the very last minute due to a most inconvenient rain shower, after which the day was warm and dry.  The grounds at Prested Hall made a lovely backdrop for Sue and Mark’s Wedding pictures of themselves and their families.  Mark’s speech at the Wedding Breakfast was impressive as he managed to introduce everyone in the room which allowed us to capture some lovely moments.  After the First Dance we took a couple of pictures of Sue and Mark beside the moat to finish our day. • Wedding Photography for Claire & Tom at Prested Hall, Feering

Claire and Tom chose Prested Hall, Feering, for their Civil Ceremony and Reception.  Claire and her Bridesmaids were getting ready for the Ceremony when we arrived at Prested Hall, so after taking a few pictures we went to find Tom and his Best Man.  A few pictures of their final preparations were taken together with pictures of Guests arriving. Other than a shower occurring whilst the Ceremony was taking place, the weather stayed fine and we were able to go outside and take the requested photographs.  After Claire and Tom had time to socialise with their Guests we took them for a walk around Prested Hall for their pictures, before the Wedding Breakfast.  Speeches followed and a while later the evening celebrations began, our coverage ending with the First Dance.Wedding Photo - Prested Hall

  • Wedding Photography for Cathy & Matt at Creeksea Place, Creeksea

Cathy’s bridal preparations were taking place at Five Lakes Golf and Country Club, so this is where David and I joined the girls at the beginning of Cathy and Matt’s Wedding Day.  Lots of activity was taking place, so there were plenty of images to capture before leaving for the journey to Creeksea Place for the Civil Ceremony and Reception. Unfortunately, the weather was not as we would all have liked so the use of umbrellas was used to the maximum when we got to Creeksea.  Saying that, we captured some lovely images of the everyone making their way to the outdoor Ceremony.  After the Ceremony as it was still raining we were able to go into the House with Cathy and Matt and take some unexpected indoor pictures, with great results!  As we came out the sun was shining, so the requested family group pictures were taken outside on the lawn. Following the Wedding Breakfast, we covered the Speeches, which were interrupted by the marvelous ‘Del Boy’ Lookalike, www.delboy2.co.uk, which provided great fun and laughter.  A stroll around the grounds of Creeksea Place in the early evening and coverage of the First Dance ended our day.Wedding Photo - Creeksea Place
