  • Wedding Photography for Kate and Jonathan at Channels

    The weather for Kate and Jonathan’s Wedding Day was lovely sunshine, despite a cooling wind at times.  Kate got ready at Channels Lodge and everything was running smoothly.  As Kate was ready in good time, she was able to take advantage of our skills to produce natural lit portraits of her, which we enjoyed doing and achieved some lovely results.  The Civil Ceremony was followed by a few essential family group combinations in front of the fountain.  Whilst the Guests were having their Drinks, we took Kate and Jonathan for a few fun and relaxed pictures of themselves.  After the Wedding Breakfast we took a couple of night shots and finished our coverage of their Wedding with the First Dance and pictures of their Evening Guests.

  • Pre-Wedding Photographs

    Sam and Paul are getting married later this year and it was a pleasure to meet with them beforehand and take some relaxed pictures and have a chat.  We find it beneficial both for ourselves and our clients to have this pre-wedding meeting to further create a relaxed time on their Wedding Day.Essex Wedding Photography

  • Wedding Fayre at Colchester United FC – Sunday 6th March -11am-4pm

    David and I will be attending the Wedding Fayre at Colchester United FC this Sunday.  Come and meet us and have a look at our sample Albums.

  • Wedding Photography for Alexandra & Joseph

    For Alexandra and Joseph’s Wedding we travelled to Whittlebury Hall Hotel, Northamptonshire, which is adjacent to Silverstone Racing Circuit.  The Church at Paulerspury made a lovely setting for the Wedding Ceremony.  Unfortunately, due to the weather conditions, photographs were limited to reportage pictures entering and leaving the Church.  Whittlebury Hall Hotel was chosen by Alexandra and Joseph as it could admirably cope with their 275 Guests!  It was fantastic to see so many ladies with fabulous hats as it was for Cherise’s Wedding which we photographed  just over a year ago.  We took some lovely pictures of Alexandra and Joseph with some of our favourites being the candid photographs taken throughout the evening.Essex photographers

  • Engagement Picture

    David Islip PhotographerWe met Lauren and Nick overlooking the River Thames, close to the London Eye, where Nick had proposed to Lauren, and took a lovely set of pictures of the two of them.  We had a good time and had a chat about their Wedding plans over a relaxing cup of coffee.

  • Charter Hall Wedding Fair

    A hugh thank you to everyone who visited our Stand at Charter Hall, Colchester, yesterday.  Lots of good enquiries and bookings made the day even better!

  • Wedding Photography for Sandra & Pete at Prested Hall

    Sandra and Pete chose to have a Civil Ceremony and their Wedding Reception at Prested Hall, Feering, Essex.  The grounds unfortunately were very wet and as it was a cold day Sandra and Pete elected to have their pictures taken inside.  The interiors of Prested Hall allowed for some nice photographs.  Sandra and Pete had a black and white theme which looked good and we dressed accordingly for their special day.

  • Family Photographs

    Our first job of the New Year was a family portrait session for Leah and Jason, whose Wedding we photographed at Layer Marney Tower in 2007.  It was a pleasure meeting again family members as well as the new members of the family.

  • Wedding Photography for Charlotte & Robert at The Fennes

    The snowy weather had past for the Wedding of Charlotte and Robert at The Fennes Estate, Bocking.  Charlotte and Robert chose to spend the whole day at Fennes from the preparations, to the Civil Ceremony, through to the Wedding Breakfast and the Dancing.  Most of the pictures were taken outside due to the milder weather.  Charlotte and Robert invited us to enjoy a meal as two of their Guests were unable to attend at the last moment, and it was nice to confirm that the food and hospitality at Fennes is as good as it always has been.  After the Wedding Breakfast we took a few portraits of Charlotte and Robert with the night lighting around Fennes, just before the First Dance.

  • Wedding Open Day at Fennes – Sunday 24th October 2010 – 11am-4pm

    Sandra will be exhibiting our Wedding Photography at The Fennes Estate, Bocking this Sunday.  This Georgian Manor House is a beautiful wedding venue with superb grounds.  Come and view the venue as well as chatting with Sandra and various other suppliers for your wedding day services.
