  • Wedding Photography for Sarah & Nicholas at Le Talbooth

Our second visit in a few weeks was to St Michael’s and All Saints Church, Copford, Essex, for the Wedding of Sarah and Woody.  After a few traditional family groups taken outside the Church, we left to go to the Reception at Le Talbooth, Dedham Essex.  As the Guests enjoyed socialising in the warm sunshine, we were able to capture the informal pictures of the day.  After the Wedding Breakfast and photographing the Speeches, we took a few more relaxed pictures of Sarah and Woody by the River Stour.  Shortly after the First Dance we left them to enjoy the party!Essex Wedding photographer

  • Nicola & Stuart's Wedding at Braxted Park

Braxted Park wedding photographerIt was a warm and sunny day for Nicola & Stuart’s Wedding at Braxted Park, Essex.  We started their Wedding Photography with Nicola’s ‘getting ready’ pictures with her Bridesmaids and Parents.  We then made our way to Braxted Park, where we were able to take some relaxed pictures of Stuart, his Best Man and Ushers.  Nicola & Stuart held their Ceremony in the Orangery.  This was followed by the requested family group pictures together with informal pictures of the Guests enjoying themselves.  After the Wedding Breakfast we took Nicola & Stuart for some Bride and Groom portraits.  Despite the heat and by then uncomfortable shoes, Nicola persevered and helped us create some lovely pictures for them.

  • Witham in Bloom

It was a great pleasure to be asked by Annie Northfield to photograph the Witham in Bloom awards at  Maltings Academy for 2010. As we had photographed this event last year, we had met many of the people involved previously along with current and past Witham Mayors, it was a particular pleasure to meet our new MP, Priti Patel.Wedding Photos Essex

  • Town Mayor's Portrait

It was a great honour to again be asked to produce Witham Towm Mayor’s official portrait for the Town Hall, a job which I have enjoyed doing for the last 11 years!

I got the job initially by doing a good job at a wedding, the rest, as they say, is history!wedding photographer Essex

  • Wedding Photography for Kylie & Richard at The Barn Brasserie

Kylie and Richard were married at St Michael’s Church, Myland, Colchester.  Kylie surprised everyone with her stunning Marilyn Munroish dress!  It was a good match for her bubbly personality!  After the Church service we went to the Barn Brasserie, Great Tey, Essex, for the Reeption.  The areas around provided some good opportunities for pictures for the Bride and Groom, aided by a beautiful day.  As two of Kylie & Richard’s Wedding Guests were unable to attend, they kindly invited us to join their other Guests for the Wedding Breakfast.   We can highly recommend the food and service at The Barn Brasserie.

  • Nikon D3s review

As part of making sure our clients receive the best quality we have just taken delivery of a Nikon D3s camera. I have been using D3 for the last 3 years with over 160,000 exposures and am delighted with what it does, so why upgrade? Well Sandra has been using a Nikon D300 and that is the camera that is actually being replaced.

Is the Nikon D3s an upgrade to D3? We took the new camera to do a few test shots when we photographed a wedding at Gosfield Hall, Essex last weekend and we have been simply stunned at the quality of the files and the reduced mechanical noise, which as wedding photographers helps us being discreet.

Proof of file quality  – watch this space!

  • Wedding Photography for Amy & Patrick

All Saints Church, Writtle, Essex, was the setting for the Wedding of Amy & Patrick.  The Reception was held at The Reid Rooms, Margaret Roding, Dunmow, in glorious summer sunshine.  Amy & Patrick wanted a relaxed wedding and enjoyed a good amount of time mingling with their Guests.  We were able to take some lovely portraits of the couple around the courtyard and gardens of the Reid Rooms without them being away from their Guests for too long.
