  • Stock Brook Manor Wedding Photography – Jane & Geoff

    Stock Brook Manor Wedding Photography

It was a windy but a bright dry day for Jane and Geoff’s Wedding at Stock Brook Manor.  Jane’s final bridal preparations were taking place upstairs at Stock Brook, which is where we found her with her Daughter, Nicki, Son, Dan and Granddaughter, Mikayla. Whilst I was capturing a few informal pictures upstairs, Geoff was having his pictures taken downstairs by David.  In between times Geoff was welcoming the Guests. We took a few pictures of Jane and her family, as Geoff and the Wedding Guests made their way into the Garden Room for the Ceremony.  Jane took Dan’s arm, with Mikayla leading the way, they walked into the Ceremony Room. Stock Brook Manor Wedding PhotographyAfter the Ceremony, everybody enjoyed the Drinks Reception inside. We found the most sheltered spot from the wind to take  Jane & Geoff’s requested groups pictures.  The reactions they caused will be remembered! Good fun! Jane and Geoff then re-joined their Guests to continue the Drinks Reception, allowing us to capture some informal pictures.  Jane and Geoff wanted to spend as much time as possible with their Guests but we did manage to steal them away for a few minutes for their ‘together’ pictures. Ted Prior the Toastmaster organised the Receiving Line before the start of the Wedding Breakfast in the Rosewood Suite. The Speeches provided us with some good images and after taking some informal pictures later, it was time for us to leave. A lovely day of Stock Brook Manor wedding photography.

  • Bradbourne House Wedding – Kate & Mark

    Bradbourne House Wedding

We were delighted to be asked to photograph Kate and Mark’s Wedding at the stunning Bradbourne House, East Malling Kent.  Kate was a Bridesmaid at her sister’s Emma’s Wedding which we photographed at Court Lodge Barn, Stansted, Kent, in the summer last year. Now it was role reversal time! We arrived at Kate’s Parents’ house on a beautiful early spring day. The girls were getting ready and everything was running smoothly. Capturing the moments as well as detail and accessory shots kept us busy and as always the last hour was going so quickly!

Kent Wedding Photographer Kate was helped by her Mother, Yvonne, and her Bridesmaids, Jemma, Emma and Becky and once everything was completed we all stepped outside into the garden for a few portraits. With a slight wind blowing we were thankful the back garden was sheltered.  After taking the pictures we then left to go to St Mary’s Church, Fawkham, for the church service.  The sun was shining, some Guests were greeting Mark and his Groomsmen, whilst others were just arriving.  It was a lovely setting for some informal guest arrival pictures before the start of the Wedding.  After a couple of pictures of Mark, it was time for everybody to go inside the Church before Kate arrived.  With all the guests seated in the Church, Kate was  escorted by her Father, Paul, and her Bridesmaids, along the path and into the church.Kent Wedding Photographer After the service, Kate and Mark led their Guests outside for a few requested family pictures.  Although reasonably sunny and warm the wind had got up causing a change to our spot for some of the pictures. Kate and Mark in between the pictures talked to their Guests before it was time to leave for the Reception.  This was our first Bradbourne House Wedding and we were looking forward to taking pictures taken there, hoping we could find sufficient time! Luck was on our side, the journey was good so getting there at the same time as Kate and Mark allowed us to take the happy couple for a short walk around the stunning grounds for some pictures. Bradbourne House Wedding As their Guests arrived they went into the House to enjoy the Drinks Reception and as ever we wanted the happy couple to spend time with their guests, not just us taking photos! Whilst Kate and Mark enjoyed this period we took some candid and documentary pictures of the guests.  With it being so warm, several of their Guests spilled out onto the patio and steps at the back of the House to enjoy the sunshine, giving us extra opportunity for some different pictures.  After a few requested small group pictures and some fun bridal pictures, it was time for the Wedding Breakfast. We were unsure whether there was going to be a sunset and if we would be able to see it due to the trees! Knowing it would be during the Wedding Breakfast we were on standby and we couldn’t have been more lucky, a  brilliant sunset! Wedding Photographer KentAfter the Speeches the room was prepared for the evening entertainment. With the room transformation complete, Kate and Mark then performed a rehearsed First Dance to their Guests, followed by members of Kate’s family doing their ‘party’ piece, great fun!Essex Wedding Photographer We finishing our coverage of a wonderful Wedding with a couple of outside pictures.  Thank you to Emma for helping us finding Guests so quickly for the pictures allowing us to get some extra pictures of Kate and Mark together. A wonderful Wedding!  Thank you to Yvonne and Paul for making us so welcome. We look forward to doing another Bradbourne House wedding in the future.

  • Crabbs Barn Wedding Photographer – Sam & Craig

    Crabbs Barn Wedding Photographer

A blue sky and fluffy white clouds greeted us on arrival at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, for the Wedding of Sam and Craig.  Crabbs Barn looked a picture and Paul and the rest of the staff warmly welcomed us as always.  Sam arrived at the Bridal Suite with her hair and make up done, leaving just the final touches to complete.  Everyone was excited, rightly so! A little while later Craig arrived with his Best Man and Ushers and before they got underway with their duties they had a few pictures taken. Once Sam was ready we took a few pictures then assisted by her Bridesmaids and Flowergirl, they  walked around to the Barn.  After seeing the Registrars, it was time for the Civil Ceremony.

With the sun streaming in through the windows, Sam and Craig exchanged their Wedding vows. After the Ceremony. the Drinks Reception was held in Pavilion, where we took some informal pictures.  Clouds were gathering so we decided to get on with some requested Group pictures during that time as well.  Following these, keeping an eye on the weather and knowing Sam and Craig wanted their pictures around the splendid grounds of Crabbs Barn, we carried on with their ‘together’pictures.

In next to no time we completed these allowing a little more social time for Sam and Craig to enjoy.  After the ‘everybody’ picture it was time for the Wedding Breakfast.  Craig delivered his Speech prior to the meal being served as the rain arrived.  Good timing! The sun came out again during the Wedding Breakfast and with everything running smoothly there was sufficient time before the rest of the Speeches for a couple of sunset pictures.  Sam’s Mum’s Speech was followed by a Speech by the Best Man.

Afterwards Sam and Craig’s Guests enjoyed coffee in the Pavilion, followed by the arrival of their Evening Guests. As a surprise, Sam and Craig had arranged a firework display for their Guests’ enjoyment.

    Non-Sharing Wedding Photography

Occasionally and for a wide variety of reasons, we photograph Weddings where the couple request we keep their pictures private and not share them online or use them in anyway. Of course when requested to do this we will comply. Therefore, here is a lovely picture of the superb Wedding Venue from earlier in the year and as the couple have requested us not to use their pictures, that is all we can do do for this wedding!,

It was a beautiful day for Sasha and Neil’s Wedding at Smeetham Hall Barn, Bulmer, Suffolk.  Sasha, her Bridesmaids and Parents were getting ready at The Mill Hotel, Sudbury and that’s where we met them early on the Wedding Day.  After capturing some getting ready pictures, we took a few formal pictures when they were all dressed.

Wedding Photography Smeetham Hall Barn Sasha looked amazing and we took some lovely bridal images of her.  Leaving them we made the journey to Smeetham Hall Barn for the Civil Ceremony.   Neil was busy with last minute preparations when we got there but we managed to find some time for his pictures and some with his Groomsmen.  Once these were completed Neil greeted a few of the Guests before moving out of sight into the Barn before Sasha arrived. After meeting with the Registrars, Sasha took her Father’s arm and joined the Bridesmaids in the Marquee, before they made their way into the Barn for the Ceremony.  Sasha and Neil exchanged their vows with the sun streaming in through the windows.  After the Ceremony, Sasha and Neil led the way into the Marquee where they spent a little while talking with their Guests.
