Wedding Photographer The Fennes

Our Wedding Photography coverage of Caroline and Simon’s Wedding started at The Fennes Estate, Bocking on a bright and dry but chilly day. Caroline was in the final stages of having her hair done with the Bridesmaids, Flowergirls and Pageboys getting dressed. Simon was having a few pictures taken with his Groomsmen outside, with the ‘Back to the Future’ Delorean, which was going to take him to St Mary’s Church, Bocking, for the Wedding. It wasn’t long before Caroline got dressed with the help of her Mum and her Bridesmaids and she was ready for a few pictures.

David and I then left them to go to the Church. Many of Caroline and Simon’s Guests came on the Routemaster bus and as they arrived at the Church we took some arrival pictures as they made their way into the Church. Caroline arrived at the Church and as it was quite cold made her way quickly into Church for some warmth! After the Church service we quickly took a couple of family pictures before Caroline and Simon walked down the path and were showered in confetti. Once back at Fennes, the car took centre stage for a little while, making for some different pictures. With Caroline and Simon’s Guests enjoying the Drinks Reception inside as well, we managed to find a few minutes to take Caroline and Simon around Fennes for a few pictures of them together. Later we used the Gold Room inside the House for a few requested family pictures before the Wedding Breakfast commenced. The Speeches followed the Wedding Breakfast and then it was time for the evening celebrations to begin. Caroline and Simon’s evening Guests started to arrive, so we took a few informal pictures of them before the cutting of the Wedding Cake and the First Dance. Happy to have been the wedding photographer The Fennes for another day and happy with the pictures that we had taken throughout the day we said our goodbyes.

Wedding Photos Fennes

Wedding photos Fennes for the wedding of Tracey & Robert. It was a nice day and on arrival at Fennes we made our way upstairs to find the girls. There was great excitement and laughter which we caught on camera! With Tracey’s details and accessories photographed the girls continued their preparations.

Robert was having a few pictures taken outside Fennes before greeting the Wedding Guests. After taking a few portraits of all the girls once they were ready, it was time for Tracey to meet with the Registrars before the Ceremony.

Tracey’s son was giving her away so after taking his arm they made their way into the Pavilion. Following the Ceremony, Tracy and Robert led their Guests outside for the Drinks Reception. There were a few requested pictures, including some fun pictures. Some nice informal pictures of the Guests were taken whilst everybody socialised in the sunshine.

Later we took Tracey and Robert for a short time around the grounds for their together pictures. Not only are the grounds lovely at Fennes, so are the rooms in the house! Tracey and Robert wanted a few pictures inside and we managed to squeeze them in before it was time for confetti and the Receiving Line. The Wedding Breakfast followed and that is where we took our leave. A lovely time!

Wedding Photographs Fennes for Kristen & Andrew

Wedding Photographs Fennes – The popular friendly Wedding Venue, The Fennes near Braintree, Essex, was Kristen and Andrew’s choice for their Wedding Day. Arriving at Fennes, Kristen was busily getting ready upstairs with the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls. Preparations were going well, so with keeping an eye on developments together with taking some detail pictures, it was busy! David sought out the men who were almost ready and when they were, there was time for some pictures to be taken. For a change David took Andrew, with his Best Man, Andy, out the back of Fennes for their pictures, even though it was raining.
Pleased with the results they returned to the house. Meanwhile, Kristen was in the final stages of getting dressed and soon ready for some pictures.

Equally some lovely pictures captured of Kristen and the girls. In no time at all it was time for the Wedding Ceremony. With the Guests seated the Flowergirls led the way into the Pavilion followed by the Bridesmaids and Kristin escorted by her Father. Following the Ceremony, Kristen and Andrew led their Guests to the front of Fennes for the Drinks Reception.

Unable to go outside at that particular time due to the continuing rain, the Wedding Guests made themselves comfortable in the rooms in Fennes, leaving us the Gold Room to take some pictures of the happy couple. A short while after the rain stopped, we all went outside for a few pictures, making good use of the steps. Later after socialising with their Guests, Kristen changed her footwear so we could venture further outside for their pictures. Kristen and Andrew wanted to make the most of the superb grounds for their wedding photography, so off we went, for a short tour! An enjoyable time, resulting in some lovely pictures for them.

Once they were back indoors the Guests threw confetti over Kristen and Andrew before the guests made their way to the Pavilion for the Wedding Breakfast. This allowed a few minutes for some pictures of Kristin and Andrew in the Red Room, before they also made their entrance into the Pavilion. Speeches followed the meal and then the Pavilion was prepared for the evening celebrations. After their evening Guests arrived in time for cutting the Wedding Cake shortly prior to the First Dance. Some lovely moments captured! Our coverage of Kristin and Andrew”s Wedding Day finished with their ‘sparklers’. A great day!

Wedding Photography Gosfield Hall

Wedding Photography Gosfield Hall – Emma and David booked us for their Wedding in 2012 and now it was finally here! It was a beautiful day and extremely hot for their Wedding at Gosfield Hall. The Roccoco Suite at Gosfield Hall was where we made our way to when we arrived at Gosfield Hall. Emma, her Mother and the Bridesmaids were having their hair and make-up done and with lots of details and accessories to photograph, it was a busy time for us all!

David and his Groomsmen were making their final preparations before having their a few pictures taken. Once the girls were ready we took a few portraits of them and Emma. The Wedding Ceremony was being held outside in the Courtyard. The Guests were shown to their seats outside at the last minute before the Ceremony was due to begin as it was an extremely hot day. Emma took her Mother’s arm, came down the stairs and waited for the music to start for her entrance. The shade was in great demand once Emma and David had exchanged their vows and signed the Register! Emma and David then led their Guests to the steps of Gosfield Hall for the Drinks Reception. After socialising for a little while, it was time to get on with the family group pictures, followed by the fun Bridal pictures. Before the Wedding Breakfast there was a short time for us to take Emma and David for a walk around the grounds for their pictures. Emma and David greeted their guests on their way into the Wedding Breakfast. which was followed by Speeches. A sunset picture is always a popular romantic wedding photograph and Emma and David were delighted to be able to get one.The guests took advantage of the warm evening and relaxed outdoors while the evening Guests arrived. Emma and David cut the cake and took to the dance floor for their First Dance together as husband and wife. Guests then joined them on the dance floor to continue the celebrations, and a little while later we took our leave. A lovely day!

Wedding Photography Fennes for Paula & David

Wedding Photography Fennes – Paula and David chose the splendid Wedding Venue, Fennes, for their Wedding Ceremony and Reception. It was a glorious day and preparations were underway for an outdoor Ceremony. Paula’s Bridal preparations were going well upstairs, David was downstairs greeting their Guests. Once we had used a few minutes capturing a few pictures of him we left him to return to the guests. Paula was not too keen having her picture taken, but she was fine, we worked quickly and took a couple of pictures of her, then it was time for her to go downstairs. The Guests were seated and it was time for Paula to take her son’s arm and walk over to the Gazebo for the Ceremony. Following the Ceremony we took a picture of everybody then they enjoyed the Drinks Reception whilst we took a few informal pictures. Paula and David’s dog Bert, was part of the Wedding and joined them in their pictures around the grounds of Fennes as well as in the group pictures later on. After the confetti pictures we took Paula and David into the Pavilion to take a couple of pictures with the cake before the start of the Wedding Breakfast. Once all the guests were seated for the Wedding Breakfast, we left them to enjoy the Wedding Breakfast and their celebrations.

Wedding Photographer The Fennes, Bocking, for Lauren & Terry

The Fennes Estate was the chosen Wedding Venue for Lauren and Terry’s Wedding. This lovely Venue is a joy to work at and fantastic for a wedding photographer! An early start was required for Lauren and her Bridesmaids with lots of preparations going on. When we arrived we just followed the sound of laughter and excitement which led us upstairs into the Bridal Room. In between taking the details and accessory pictures, we captured some lovely informal moments of the preparations. At the same time we were keeping our ears open for the sound of a McLaren Sports Car which had been a surprise for Terry, he was being picked up and driven to Fennes by his Best Man. We wanted to make sure we were in the right place so we did not miss the big arrival. Once Terry with his Best Man and Ushers were all there, they quickly finished their preparations in the Library before any of the Guests arrived and we took a few portraits.

Back upstairs the girls were almost ready. Lauren, six Bridesmaids and family members, and ourselves all moved to The Fennes Suite where there was more room for the finishing off and pictures. As usual, the time was rapidly disappearing so we had to work quickly to get the pictures needed for Laura’s Storybook album. Lauren’s Dad was waiting at the bottom of the stairs and greeted her before she saw the Registrars.

Once the Guests were seated in the Pavilion, Lauren and her Bridesmaids made their entrance looking beautiful. Everybody enjoyed the Drinks Reception outside whilst we arranged the requested family pictures. Trying to keep the wonderful relaxed atmosphere going we took some fun pictures of the Bridal Party and some car shots. Leaving their Guests temporarily for a few minutes to take Lauren and Terry for their bridge shots resulted in some nice images.

After the confetti shots it was time for the Speeches prior to the Wedding Breakfast in the delightfully decorated Pavilion. Lauren and Terry wanted some pictures in the Red Room and Gold Room together with other evening pictures. To make the most of their Venue in the pictures we took these in the relaxed time after the meal.

Going here, there and everywhere capturing images of the day, kept us busy!

Following the First Dance and some informal pictures of the evening Guests it was time for us to say goodbye. A superb day! A couple of notes we must add, it is always great to work with David of Rideout Films as we keep each other informed of what is happening that either of us could miss, and thanks to the staff at Fennes for making us welcome as usual.

Wedding Photography Fennes for Natalie & Matthew

Wedding Photography Fennes for Natalie and Matthew – It was a beautiful day when we arrived at Fennes, Bocking, for the Wedding of Natalie and Matthew. Preparations were going well with the girls and all things were running smoothly. The Fennes Estate looked superb and when Matthew and his Groomsmen arrived we took advantage of the setting for their pictures. Once the girls were ready, we took a few portraits before it was time for the Civil Ceremony. Natalie and Matthew chose to have their Wedding Ceremony in the Pavilion, which as usual looked lovely. Afterwards, everybody made their way outside at the front of Fennes for the Drinks Reception. After the requested family group pictures were taken, the Guests were left to enjoy the Drinks Reception for a few minutes in the warm sunshine, while we took Natalie and Matthew for their pictures. Using the remaining bluebells for some of their together pictures worked very well before they returned to join the guests. With a few fun Bridal Party pictures done, it was then time for the Receiving Line and the Wedding Breakfast. After the speeches there was enough time before the Evening Reception for us to take some images of Natalie and Matthew in the Gold Room and by the Bridal Cottage. With their Evening Guests arriving we took a few informal pictures of them before and after the First Dance. We finished our coverage of Natalie and Matthew’s Wedding with a sunset picture and one under the illuminated pergola.
