Fennes Wedding Photos for Jaimey & Mehmet

The sun was shining for Jaimey and Mehmet’s Wedding day at Fennes. We arrived at Fennes just before Mehmet arrived with his Groomsmen. They made their way into the Library to finish getting ready. Jaimey was upstairs having her hair done and the room was a hive of activity! Working around their preparations I got on with photographing the details and accessories, whilst David was downstairs with the men capturing their preparations. David couldn’t leave the men as a surprise was in store for Mehmet! Unbeknown to Mehmet, Jaimey had arranged for a Ferrari to arrive at Fennes and take him to St Mary’s Church, Bocking for the Church service. It wasn’t long before the Ferrari arrived and Memhmet’s Best Man persuaded Mehmet to go to the front of the house . How surprised Mehmet was! Grinning from ear to ear, Mehmet just stared at the Ferrarri before climbing in to have some pictures taken. Jaimey was delighted her surprise had worked and enjoyed the feedback from the Bridesmaids and a few Guests who had watched the drama unfolding. Mehmet was then chauffeured to St Mary’s Church. Time was racing by and with so many people getting ready we decided that I would go to the Church whilst David stayed behind capturing what was happening. After meeting the men at the Church and capturing some pictures of the Guests as well as Mehmet, it wasn’t long before Jaimey arrived. We captured the moments as they happened as they all made their way into the Church. After the Church service we took a few family pictures outside the Church before the Guests made their way down to the gate for the confetti pictures. Before leaving the Church we took a couple pictures of Jaimey and Mehmet with the car before they left for the Reception. As we were back at Fennes with Jaimey and Mehmet well before their Guests, we went to take some pictures on the bridge and around the grounds. Returning to the House we caught up on a few bridal shots of Jaimey that we didn’t get earlier in the Gold Room. As the Guests arrived they enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the gardens. The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Pavilion and was followed by the Speeches. With the main Speeches delivered a few of Jaimey and Mehmet’s relatives and friends said a few words. It was a beautiful evening and afterwards Guests went outside and socialised. Using the superb grounds we took some relaxed bridal party pictures before it was time for the First Dance. Finishing Jaimey and Mehmet’s coverage of their special day a nice sunset picture. Thank you so much Sue (Fennes Front of house) for your help, much appreciated as always!

One of the interesting comments we have received recently, is how ‘other photographers’ were supposedly offering better price and products …… this was without the potential client even coming to see what our products are like or asking about what is included! While we can not be considered to offer the cheapest packages around, we do try to offer realistic packages that don’t include too many nasty cost surprises after the wedding! Do please come and chat, we are not ‘pressure sales’ people!

Wedding Photography Fennes – Hollie and Chris

It was a windy but dry and warm day for Hollie and Chris’ Summer Wedding at Fennes. Hollie and Chris wanted to have an outdoor Civil Ceremony at Fennes and their wish came true. Hollie and her Bridesmaids were getting ready in the house whilst Chris and his Groomsmen were getting ready in the Lodges. When Chris was ready he had some pictures taken. Meanwhile, Hollie and her Bridesmaids were getting dressed, so they were ready for their pictures. Soon it was time for Hollie to go and see the Registrars before the start of the Ceremony. The Bridesmaids then led the way outside, followed by Hollie and her Father. After the Ceremony, Hollie and Chris spent a little time with their Guests before the arranged pictures. We changed the planned location for the requested family pictures closer to the guitarist, as the wind had got up, making it hard for the guests hear him play. The Guests carried on enjoying the Drinks Reception whilst we took Hollie and Chris for a short walk around the grounds for their ‘together’ pictures. Before the Wedding Breakfast we did an ‘everybody’ heart shot. Thank you to Sue from Fennes for helping us to achieve this so speedily! Everyone then made their way into the Pavilion for the Wedding Breakfast. The Speeches took place before the meal so they could all enjoy the meal without pressure! Afterwards and before the evening Guests arrived we took a few pictures of Hollie and Chris in the Gold Room and Red Room. The cake cutting was before Hollie and Chris took to the dance floor for their First Dance together. Capturing a lovely sunset picture for Hollie and Chris completed our coverage of their Wedding.

Fennes Wedding Photography -Jenna & James

The popular Fennes was the chosen Wedding Venue for Jenna and James’ Wedding. On arrival at Fennes the sound of fun and laughter greeted us! Preparations were going well and everybody was having a nice time getting ready. The girls were in the Bridal Suite whilst the guys were keeping out of the way getting ready in one of the bedrooms. Jenna was so relaxed, giving a helping hand to everybody, sorting herself out in between! Once James, his Best Man and Ushers were ready they went downstairs for some pictures. Unfortunately, it was raining but they were able to stand on the steps outside in the dry, whilst David got wet! The men stayed downstairs then and greeted the Guests as they arrived. When Jenna, looking wonderful, and the girls were ready we took a few portrait pictures of them all, then took Jenna onto the landing for a couple of Bridal shots.

The Guests made their way into the Pavilion for the Ceremony and after seeing the Registrars, Jenna took her Father’s arm and they made their way to the Pavilion. After the ceremony Jenna and James led their Guests back through the house to the front where the Drinks Reception.We were prepared for doing the photography in the Gold Room as there wasn’t any prospect of the weather improving. With lots of Guests, Videographers and ourselves, it was busy, but we were really pleased with how smoothly this went. A huge ‘thank you’ goes to the Guests for their co-operation. Later on as we were still unable to venture outside other than on the steps, we took a couple of pictures in the Library before the confetti pictures in the Gold Room. Soon it was time for the Wedding Breakfast. The Speeches followed and as a surprise, Molllie, one of their Bridesmaids sung a song for Jenna and James. Another surprise followed! A break in the weather! We couldn’t believe it, nor could anybody else! Without further ado, we were on our way outside for some bridge pictures. Not pushing our luck we took some pictures in the minimum of time on the bridge, using the gazebo as well. We persuaded all the guests to come outside so that Jenna & James could have a big group picture. As they returned to the Pavilion we took a few pictures of Jenna and James in the house before the start of the evening reception. The cutting of the Wedding Cake was followed by the throwing of the bouquet. Jenna and James took to the floor for their First Dance. The happy couple planned for some sparkler pictures which we did just with the two of them before it rained too hard, again! These pictures ended our coverage of Jenna and James’ Wedding. Thank you Jenna and James for smiling constantly throughout your day, you are a lovely couple, some wonderful pictures we hope you are pleased with. For us another great day of Fennes Wedding Photography!

Choosing a park near to them for their pictures, proved the right choice, not many people around and the weather was just perfect. Jaimey and Mehmet are getting married soon at The Fennes Estate, Bocking.

Engagement Photography – Jenna & James

Jenna and James recently came to our studio to chat about the details for their Wedding and for their Engagement Photography session. After talking through the wedding plans and timings we jumped into our car with them and went to the River Walk in Witham, for their Engagement Photography Session. We managed to find a few spring wild flowers which added an extra dimension and depth to the photos. Jenna and James’s wedding is to be held soon at one of our favourite venues the lovely Fennes Estate near Braintree, Essex.

Wedding Photography Fennes

It was a bright but cold day when we arrived at Fennes to cover Kirstie and Jason’s Wedding Day. Kirstie was getting ready upstairs and Jason was getting ready in the cottage, so there was plenty of action going on to keep us busy! After a few pictures of Jason, his Best Man and Ushers they left to go to the Church. When Kirstie, her Parents and Bridesmaids were ready we took a few pictures before it was time for us to leave for the Church, St Mary’s, Bocking. Guests were beginning to arrive by a Wedding Bus and Coach, but we had time to take a few pictures of Jason outside the Church, before he resumed his duties. The path leading up to St Mary’s Church makes for one of our favourite places for Guest arrival pictures which we took and captured some nice images. It wasn’t long before Kirstie arrived. Although it was still bright the temperature wasn’t increasing, so Kirstie, her Dad and the Bridesmaids didn’t waste any time getting from the car to the porch! With the music playing Kirstie walked into the Church for the service to begin. After the service Kirstie and Jason came down the aisle but didn’t go outside the door! As a few pictures family pictures were requested, being extremely cold i,t was decided to do these pictures in the warmth of the Church! Afterwards the Guests lined the path for Kirstie and Jason to walk down, showering them in confetti. Kirstie and Jason returned to Fennes in the Coach with their Guests following them. After Kirstie and Jason had a short time with their Guests before Kirstie put her boots on for going over to the Bridge for a few of their together pictures. During the afternoon we took pictures inside and outside Fennes as the weather held before it was time for the Wedding Breakfast. Whilst the Wedding Guests were being seated we made the most of a few moments with Kirstie and Jason in the Gold Room and Red Room resulting in some nice images. The Pavilion looked wonderful for the Wedding Breakfast. After the Speeches, their Evening Guests arrived. A couple of night shots and a couple of special group pictures ended our day. A beautiful Christmas Wedding, a wonderful couple!
