Wedding Photography Fennes, Essex for Debbie & Dave

Wedding Photography Fennes, Essex – The Fennes Estate was the chosen Venue for Debbie and Dave’s Civil Ceremony Wedding. We arrived at Fennes to find Debbie and the girls getting ready with the preparations well underway. We captured the moments as they were happening in the house, as well as watching for Dave and some of the Guests to arrive in a 1950’s bus! When Dave arrived, the bus made for a nice feature at the front of Fennes, for his pictures and his Groomsmen. Meanwhile Debbie was almost dressed and it wasn’t long before her Bridal portraits were taken. Debbie’s sons were going to escort her down the aisle, so once she was ready the boys saw her before they all came downstairs.

The Civil Ceremony was held in the Pavilion and after Debbie and Dave exchanged their vows, and formalities were finished, Debbie and Dave left the Pavilion and made their way to the front of Fennes.

Being such a lovely day everybody enjoyed the Drinks Reception outside in the brilliant sunshine. A short time later we took Debbie and Dave for stroll around the grounds for their pictures. As always with the Fennes Estate it was blessed with ample opportunities for pictures so we took a variety of shots before returning to the Drinks Reception.

Some requested family group pictures followed shortly with the Bridal Party pictures. The Wedding Breakfast and Speeches were held in the Pavilion. In the time after, before the start of the evening celebrations we took a couple shots outside. Debbie and Dave held their Evening Reception in the Marquee where they were joined by their Evening Guests. The Evening’s entertainment was provided by a Caricaturist and a Singer. The cutting of the Wedding Cake preceded the First Dance and shortly afterwards it was time for us to leave.

Wedding Photography Gosfield Hall for Stephanie & Marc

Wedding Photography Gosfield Hall – We were delighted to be asked to photograph Stephanie and Marc’s Wedding at the superb Wedding Venue, Gosfield Hall. This Wedding was extra special to us as we have known Marc for a number of years, growing up with our son Jonathan. On arrival at Gosfield Hall, the Rococco Suite was where the girls were getting ready and that is where we made our way to. The girls were busy with the bridal preparations with the boys downstairs attending to their jobs. With lots going on David and I were kept busy and once everyone was ready the posed pictures were taken. The Civil Ceremony was held in the Queen’s Gallery and Steph looked radiant as she made her entrance. Afterwards, Steph and Marc led their Guests down the stairs and into the Drawing Room for the Drinks Reception. With rain in the air just at the time we were going to go outside, we let Steph and Marc make the most of some extra time with their Guests. Fortunately, the weather improved enabling everyone to go outside for the required family pictures and Bridal fun pictures. During the afternoon we took Steph and Marc for a short walk around the grounds of Gosfield Hall for their together pictures. Following the Receiving Line, the Wedding Breakfast was served before the Speeches. A ‘first’ for us during the Speeches, photographing our son, who was Best Man! It turned out that we were more nervous than our son! Stephanie and Marc were lucky enough to get a sunset picture, it was not looking as if there was going to be one! With the evening celebrations beginning, Steph and Marc’s evening Guests arrived. followed by the cutting of the cake. Steph and Marc then had their First Dance and we captured some lovely moments. With some night shots taken of them both we left them all to continue the party. A wonderful day!

Braintree Registry Office & Crofters Wine Bar Wedding – Lara & Mark

Braintree Registry Office Wedding – We were pleased to be asked to photograph the Wedding of Lara and Mark at Braintree Registry Office. Lara was Bridesmaid at her sister Leanne’s Wedding earlier last year at The Barn Brasserie, Great Tey which we photographed. Now it was role reversal time for Lara and Leanne! On arrival at the Registry Office we met Mark, his Best Man and Ushers and took a few pictures of them. It wasn’t long before Lara arrived, looking lovely, accompanied by her daughter, Mum, Dad and Leanne. It was a dry, bright, but chilly day, so after a few photographs, everybody went inside for the Civil Ceremony. The requested family group pictures were taken before we took Lara and Mark for a very quick but short walk away from the Guests for their pictures. It’s quite a while since we last photographed a Braintree Registry Office wedding but we have done so many over the years that it did not take may seconds to refamiliarise ourselves with surroundings! The Reception was held at Crofters Wine Bar, Witham, and during the afternoon we captured the relaxed atmosphere of the day, which Lara and Mark wanted to achieve.

Wedding Photography for Vicki & Dan – Fennes

Vicki and Dan chose the popular Fennes Estate for their Wedding and had a fantastic day to remember! Vicki and her Bridesmaids were getting ready upstairs at Fennes, whilst Dan and his Groomsmen were getting ready in one of the Lodges. It was soon time for their Ceremony and Vicki looked lovely as she made her entrance into the Pavilion as did Dan in his Army uniform. Following the Ceremony, although cold outside, everybody went outside for a couple of pictures before going inside for a few requested Groups. Later, we took a few fun bridal party pictures outside, thank you to all of you, it was really cold! Vicki and Dan wanted a couple of pictures on the bridge, which happened in double quick time! After confetti pictures in the Gold Room it was time for the Wedding Breakfast. Guests listened to the Speeches before the meal, unbeknown to them there was an extra Speech later! Vicki’s Speech was a surprise to everybody, especially Dan, and when Vicki (not a good singer!) started to sing, the Soul Singer, Dominic, appeared on the Dance Floor to rapturous applause! Dancing to his songs was followed by cake cutting and the First Dance. A brilliant day and will be remembered by us especially for Vicki jumping with joy throughout the day!

Wedding Photography for Rebecca & Michael – St. Mary's Church, Bocking & The Fennes

Our day started at Fennes with Becky getting ready there before going to the Church. After a few final preparation pictures upstairs, we took Becky’s Bridal portraits downstairs in the Gold and Red rooms. As Ian of Nixons Cars arrived, that was our cue to leave and head off to St. Mary’s Church, Bocking. Capturing some pictures of Mike, his Best Man and Ushers, before many of the Guests arrived was achieved and as they made their way into Church, we waited for the arrival of Becky. After the Church service and a few family photographs outside the Church, everybody left to go to Fennes for the Reception. With the light being good, whilst the Guests were still arriving, we took Becky and Mike for a few pictures on the bridge. Prior to the Receiving Line, with the sun going down we quickly whizzed Becky and Mike outside to capture the sunset. Following the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, Becky and Mike enjoyed a little while to themselves in the Gold Room (discreetly we took a couple of pictures!), before returning to their Guests for the cutting of the Wedding cake and their First Dance.

Pre-Wedding Pictures

Gemma and Richard’s pre-wedding pictures were taken in The Public Gardens, Braintree, which is a lovely setting and provides many opportunities for some pictures. Gemma and Richard are getting married soon at The Fennes Estate, Bocking.

Wedding Photography for Pam & Dan – The Fennes, Bocking

Pam and Dan chose the lovely Fennes Estate for their Wedding in the Autumn last year. Both of them were getting ready at Fennes so we were able to capture a range of different pictures before the Civil Ceremony. Following the Ceremony in the Pavilion, Pam and Dan made their way to the front of Fennes for the release of doves. With their Guests watching indoors as it was raining and after capturing a few photographs Pam and Dan enjoyed time socialising with their Guests during the Drinks Reception. A few requested family group pictures were taken in the Gold Room and a short time afterwards, with the rain easing off, we ventured outside with Pam and Dan. Using the Gazebo as it was dry made for some nice pictures and on our way back to the House, with the weather improved, the Bridal Party joined us for some fun, relaxed pictures outside the House. Later the Wedding Breakfast commenced followed by the Speeches. Pam had proposed to Dan onthe 29th February and hearing the story made for some good pictures in the Speeches. Whilst their Evening Guests were arriving we took a couple of pictures of the two of them inside Fennes before their First Dance.

Wedding Photography for Kavita & Sam – The Fennes Estate, Bocking

We arrived at Fennes for the Wedding of Kavita and Sam with plenty of time to capture pictures of Kavita getting ready, then moving to The Fennes Suite for some pictures of Kavita, her Family and Bridesmaids. In between times we found Sam, his Best Man and Ushers, who were greeting Guests and took a few pictures of them before they went to the Pavilion for the Civil Ceremony. After the Ceremony, with the weather not playing ball, everybody stayed in the House for the Drinks Reception. During this time we took some family group photographs in the Gold Room, mixed with a few Bridal Party pictures and a few pictures of Kavita and Sam. David and I are always up for going outside whatever the weather if the Bride and Groom want to as well, and as Kavita had her “Weddington Boots” , we took the opportunity. With the help of a few of the Bridal Party and umbrellas, off we went to the Bridge. A short stop for a couple of pictures in the Gazebo, then back in the dry! Thank you to all! Wedding Breakfast and Speeches followed before Kavita and Sam left their Guests for a change of dress for their Evening Reception. Once changed, we took some photographs of the two of them before they made their entrance for the start of the Evening celebrations. After a few dancing pictures, and relaxed, informal pictures of their Guests and evening Guests, it was time for us to leave.

Wedding Photography for Kelly & Tommy – The Fennes Estate

We arrived at Kelly’s parents’ house where everything was going well with the final preparations. As it was a lovely day, when Kelly was ready we went into the garden for some pictures of Kelly, Bridesmaids and Parents. Once these were taken we made our way to Fennes where Kelly and Tommy chose to have their Wedding. Tommy and his Groomsmen were ready to have their photographs taken, before Kelly arrived. As the weather was really good, the Civil Ceremony was taking place outside in the Gazebo, where the Guests were seated. Kelly arrived at Fennes and made her way to the Ceremony through the Gold Room. Family group pictures, fun bridal party shots followed after the Ceremony during the Drinks Reception. We took Kelly and Tommy for a few pictures around the grounds of Fennes in between them socialising with their Guests. As the Guests made their way to the Wedding Breakfast in the Pavilion, we had a little time with Kelly and Tommy for some fun relaxed photographs in the Gold Room and the front part of the house. Following the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, Kelly and Tommy wanted some pictures in The Fennes Suite before their evening celebrations. First Dance and evening pictures completed our coverage of their Wedding.
