Fennes Wedding Photography – Dona & Gavin

What a glorious day for Dona and Gavin’s Fennes Wedding!

Fennes looked beautiful as always. Meeting Dona upstairs in Fennes, Dona, her daughter, sister, Mum and Bridesmaid were very relaxed. Hair and make up preparations were taking place and going very well.

Gavin was getting ready in the Cottage with his Best Men. All was well there too. When the men were ready, time for a few pictures in front of Fennes.

Pictures of Dona followed when she was ready.

Dona and Gavin’s Wedding Ceremony was held in the Pavilion. Lovely moments happened.

Following this everyone went outside. Enjoying the sunshine the Guests socialised and spent a lovely relaxed afternoon. Dona and Gavin wanted a few family group pictures taken which we took with other pictures during the afternoon.

A few together shots of Dona and Gavin on the Bridge and around the grounds took place before the Wedding Breakfast.

After the meal, it was time for the Speeches, nice words from the children. Afterwards time to walk around Fennes in the evening sunshine.

Dona and Gavin’s evening Guests arrived for the evening celebrations. Later Dona and Gavin cut their Wedding cake before their First Dance.

A sunset picture to end our coverage of a wonderful day. Thank you Dona and Gavin for asking us to be your Wedding Photographers. Good to work today with Red Carpet Video again.

Fennes Wedding Photographer for Naomi & Paul

We meet so many nice people being a Fennes Wedding photographer Naomi and Paul being no different! Our day started with going to see Naomi first at Fennes to see how preparations were going. Everything was going well with Naomi in the final stages of hair and make up.

David went off to find Paul who was getting ready with his Best Man, Clifford. When they were ready they walked over to the House. It was a nice dry day with sunshine so Paul had a few pictures taken with his Best Man and with a few Guests outside.

Upstairs in Fennes House Naomi was getting dressed assisted by her sister. Naomi was soon ready for to have some family pictures and some pictures of her taken. Naomi looked lovely.

Fennes Wedding Ceremony

Paul and Naomi chose to have their Wedding Ceremony in the Pavilion so the Guests made their way into the Pavilion and took their seats.

Naomi’s Mother and Father had flown over from Japan for their daughter’s Wedding and it was a lovely moment when her Father greeted her at the bottom of the stairs.

Ready for the Ceremony, Naomi took her Father’s arm and made her way into the Pavilion. After the Ceremony inside and outside of Fennes was used for the Drinks Reception and this made for some nice informal pictures.Paul and Naomi wanted some family pictures as well which we took during the afternoon. A walk around the grounds for their pictures ended with some nice pictures of the two of them. After the confetti shots it was time for the Wedding Breakfast. The Speeches followed.

Evening Celebrations

Before the evening celebrations we took the ‘heart’ shot and a couple of other pictures in Fennes. Naomi and Paul returned to their Guests.

Never quite knowing if there would be a sunset this evening we hoped we would get some colour in the sky! We were lucky but had to be extremely quick! It did work and we were all very pleased! After Naomi and Paul’s cutting of the cake and First Dance and happy with our coverage of their Wedding, it was time for us to leave. A lovely couple and a wonderful Wedding and another great day to be a Fennes Wedding Photographer!

Justine & Glyn's Fennes Wedding

Justine & Glyn’s Fennes Wedding

It was a lovely day for the Fennes Wedding of Justine and Glyn .

We started with a visit to Justine in the Bridal Room where preparations were going very well. Justine was enjoying sipping her Champagne.

Justine and Glen wanted their Wedding to be fairly relaxed and from the outset that was what it was. Once Glyn was ready, together with his Groomsmen, they had a few pictures taken on the lawn. Justine’s Dad was looking forward to greeting Justine at the bottom of the stairs, which he did and seeing his daughter ready to get married.

The Wedding

When it was time Justine and her Father walked into the Pavilion for the Ceremony to begin. Afterwards everyone went outside at the front of Fennes for the Drinks Reception.

The weather was fine and for the remainder of the afternoon everyone stayed outside. During this time Justine and Glyn requested a few pictures which we took but we also ended up with a variety of informal shots.

During the short walk around Fennes grounds with Justine and Glyn we captured some them in some nice relaxed photographs. Just before the Wedding Breakfast the Guests showered Justine and Glyn with confetti.

Just prior to the speeched we took the happy couple for a sunset picture. Justine and Glyn had invited a lot of Evening Guests and they were arriving just as the speeches finished .Justine and Glyn spent time with them for a little while.

The Evening Reception

Cutting the cake preceded the First Dance after which their Guests joined them on the dance floor and the celebrations got into full swing!When we felt we were happy with our coverage of Justine and Glenn’s Wedding we said our ‘goodbyes’.

A very happy Fennes Wedding day for Justine and Glyn and we were also very happy to be a part of it.

Wedding Photography Town Hall Braintree for Jenny & Sam

Jenny & Sam booked us for their Wedding Photography Town Hall Braintree.

When we arrived at the Town Hall we met with Sam who had just arrived with his Best Man, Alex. We made the most of the peaceful time taking a few pictures of them.

Sam was a bit worried as the Guests were not arriving as early as he expected! As is often the case they had arrived but as they waited outside for more of them to arrive and then make their entrance! Sam then mingled in the Foyer for a little while.

It wasn’t long before Jenny arrived out at the back of the Town Hall escorted by her Dad. They were showed into a room out of sight of everyone else. Jenny and her Mother and Father were joined by the Bridesmaids, and Pageboys. This gave us the opportunity of taking a few pictures before the Ceremony.

The Guests took their seats and Jenny, her Mum, Dad and Bridesmaids went upstairs into the connecting room. Jenny and her Dad followed the Bridesmaids and Pageboys into the ceremony room.

Afterwards everyone socialised in the rooms enjoying the Drinks Reception as well. Braintree Town Hall is a wonderful building and we certainly made use of everywhere we were allowed to go for pictures. Jenny and Sam wanted a few family group pictures and some other photos and we were happy to do those. For Jenny and Sam’s pictures we photographed them on the stairs and around. A little while later it was time to leave the Town Hall and go to Jardins for the Reception.

Reception at Jardins

At Jardins, more Guests arrived, so we went around and took some informal pictures. After a little while everyone helped themselves to the Buffet and then Jenny and Sam cut their Wedding Cake.

To start the dancing for the evening Jenny and Sam took to the dance floor for their First Dance. We stayed for a while until we were happy with our pictures. Our last pictures of the evening were of Jenny and Sam outside as the sun was going down. A lovely day for Jenny and Sam’s Wedding.

Pre-Wedding Pictures

Justine and Glen came to see us again before their Wedding in the Autumn last year for their Pre-Wedding pictures.

After filling in the remaining details about their Wedding Day over a coffee off we went to take some pictures.

Our local River Walk provides opportunities for pictures and that’s why we use this area. Justine and Glen chose the wonderful Fennes for their Wedding Day.

Wedding Photography at Fennes for Katie & Daniel

Katie and Daniel booked us to provide their wedding photography at Fennes. It was nice to be back at this wonderful and popular venue.

Arriving at Fennes the girls were busily getting ready upstairs in the house and Daniel and his Groomsmen were getting ready at Fennes as well so David and I split to cover all the preparations. Katie and Daniel were very relaxed about their Wedding especially as where their children were concerned. Belle, their daughter, was with the girls and Jake, their son was with Daniel and the Groomsmen. Preparations were going well and when Daniel was ready with his Groomsmen, they had some pictures taken. Daniel then went to see the Registrars and then socialised with the Guests. Once Katie was ready we took some pictures upstairs. Katie’s Father was waiting for her to come down the stairs and we were there to capture this special moment when it happened.

The Ceremony and Reception

After meeting with the Registrars they took their places in the Pavilion. The Bridesmaids and Belle, the Flowergirl, went first, followed by Katie and her Dad. After the Ceremony everyone went outside as the weather was nice. During the Drinks Reception we took the requested family pictures followed by some fun Bridal Party pictures. Jake, the Pageboy enjoyed helping David take the pictures! Katie and Daniel’s ‘together’ photos were taken during the afternoon as well. The Guests threw confetti over Katie and Daniel in the Gold Room just before the Guests were called into the Pavilion for the Wedding Breakfast. Katie and Daniel had a few minutes to themselves before they made their entrance into the Pavilion. After the Wedding Breakfast it was time for the Speeches. An couple of additional Speeches were made. Katie delivered one and so did Grace, Daniel’s daughter. They both did very well.

The Evening Reception

There was a short time before the start of the evening celebrations so we took Katie and Daniel for a short while for a few more pictures around Fennes including a glorious sunset picture. Before their First Dance later Katie threw her bouquet. Sparklers, night bridge shots finished our coverage of Katie and Daniel’s Wedding a little later on. A great couple, a lovely family, and a most rewarding day with some lovely unexpected shots.

Fennes Open Day – Sunday 18 February 2018 – 11am-3pm

David and I are looking forward to Fennes Open Day, this Sunday from 11am-3pm. Fennes is a wonderful Wedding Venue and a very popular one to hold your Wedding. On show we will have various pictures and Albums of Fennes Weddings. Our display stand will be in the large pavilion.

Fennes Wedding Photography for Debi & Rob

Fennes Wedding Photography for Debi & Rob

Debi and Rob booked us for Fennes Wedding Photography for their early autumn Wedding. After meeting everyone in the Bridal Room, we got on with taking pictures of the details and accessories. In between we made sure we captured the getting ready pictures of both Debi and Rob. David was with the men and once they were dressed they had some pictures taken outside as it was still dry.

A wedding Disaster!

The girls were nearly dressed but unfortunately the zip broke in the one of the Bridesmaids’ dresses! Not to worry, the only way to solve the problem was to sew the zip together! My job today, no problem! It was at this moment David returned! Good timing! David just carried on with the photography! Debi was unaware of what was going on, which was fine by all of us! By the time Debi and the rest of the Bridesmaids were ready, the job was completed! Pictures taken and then it was time for Debi to go downstairs for the Ceremony. The plan was to have an Outdoors Ceremony but the weather put paid to that! The Guests were seated in the Pavilion and Debi came downstairs and went to the Pavilion for the Ceremony.

The Rain Stopped

A break in the rain allowed us all to go outside for the everybody shot before it started again. We got on with taking a few requested pictures using the rooms in the house during the Drinks Reception and we were able to use the steps outside for a few more. The rain did ease and we were able to go outside later on, using the Gazebo and the bridge. During the rest of the afternoon we captured some informal pictures before the Guests threw confetti over Debi and Rob. The rain stopped again during the Wedding Breakfast, so in between courses we stepped outside with Debi and Rob for a few pictures.

A wedding Sunset

After the Wedding Breakfast as there was time for a few more pictures of Debi and Rob around the House and as the the sun was setting, a lovely sky, both in the lane and on the bridge! Not to be missed! Evening Guests were arriving as we returned so the Wedding Cake was cut and Debi and Rob had their First Dance. Later on we said our goodbyes. A great day! Thanks to Sharon of Fennes for helping the day to go like clockwork, despite the zip mishap which held together right through the evening!

“David and Sandra’s work is amazing. They captured our day perfectly. They were professional, understanding, gave advice on the type of photo’s and spent time with us. The pre-wedding shoot was a chance for us to get used to each other and really built up a relationship with us. When the big day arrived we both felt really comfortable as did our guests.
