Sally and Steve chose the beautiful Wedding Venue, Braxted Park, for their Wedding. Sally was getting ready in the house, and when we arrived preparations were going well and with ample space for everybody to move around some nice images were captured. The rain that had been falling during the morning fortunately had stopped for some pictures of Steve outside with his Best Man and Parents. Sally and Steve had an early Wedding Ceremony as they wanted ” to make the most of a wonderful day”. The Wedding Ceremony was held in the Orangery and afterwards, Sally and Steve and ourselves went out towards the front of the House, whilst the Guests went the other way to the steps for the ‘everybody’ picture. After this picture, with help from the Bridesmaids in keeping Sally’s dress from getting wet, Sally and Steve were showered in confetti before the Drinks Reception. Allowing time for socialising and for us taking some informal pictures, a few requested family photographs were taken, before making our way towards the Gazebo, where it was dry underfoot for some pictures. With the Bridal Party joining us as well we took a few fun pictures before they returned to the Pavilion leaving us with Sally and Steve. A change of footwear for Sally, an extremely quick drive to the Lake, a few pictures before returning to their Guests. The Wedding Breakfast was followed by the Speeches and towards the latter part of the Speeches the late afternoon sun was peering through the trees so after the Speeches Sally and Steve were more than happy to take advantage of this.
Sally and Steve’s evening celebrations started with the arrival of their evening Guests, then the Bouquet toss before the First Dance. Sally and Steve performed a fantastic rehearsed First Dance which delighted everybody. With the lights on around Braxted Park, Sally and Steve wanted a few evening pictures which we enjoyed doing before leaving them to continue with their party.

Wedding Photography for Ashley & William – Stock Brook Manor, Stock
With both sides of the family staying at Greenwoods Hotel & Spa, Stock, there was so much going on, it proved a good choice for us to get there early for the Wedding of Ashley and William. We captured some brilliant moments with the girls and the boys. Whilst the boys were getting organised with leaving to go to the Church, we were taking some photographs of Ashley and her Bridesmaids.
The weather was absolutely glorious and we captured some lovely relaxed smiles of the Guests as they arrived at The Most Holy Redeemer Church, Billericay. Following the service and after a couple of pictures and confetti, we moved swiftly off to Stock Brook Manor. Whilst the Guests were arriving and being given a Drink we took Ashley and William off for a few photographs before giving them a break.
With the flowergirls and pageboys enjoying playing on the lawn, bringing the rest of the Bridal Party to join them, made for some nice images. It was nice to meet Daniel Stollar , the Toastmaster and he certainly assisted us with finding the relevant people for different pictures. During the Wedding Breakfast everyone was treated to a surprise act by The Three Waiters. Ashley and William were on stand by for the nod from us regarding a sunset shot as they particularly wanted this. Sometimes this happens between courses in the Wedding Breakfast and today was the day! Not wanting to delay proceedings any more than we had too, driving to the far side of Stock Brook Manor was the quickest way! It was worth it! Not only a sunset picture but as we returned to the car the moon was rising in the opposite direction as well!
After coverage of the Speeches and whilst the room was being set up for the evening celebrations, Ashley, William and their Guests had time to socialise. Our day ended a little while after the First Dance. A beautiful day!

Wedding Photography for Estelle & Wayne – The Fennes Estate, Bocking
Estelle and Wayne chose the superb Wedding Venue, The Fennes, for their Wedding. Regardless of the weather this has to be one of the very best Venues to take photographs at and this Wedding proved to be no exception. We photographed Wayne immediately we arrived outside Fennes, knowing the rain was not going to hold off for long! Bridal preparations were going on upstairs in the Fennes Suite, giving us ample space to do so nice portraits of Estelle, her family and Bridesmaids.
Following the Civil Ceremony in the Pavilion, Guests made their way to the front of the house for the Drinks Reception. Using the Gold Room for the photographs worked well for the requested family groups, having the experience of having this happen many times certainly helps! After a break as it was still raining we took Estelle and Wayne for a walk around the inside of Fennes, stopping every now and then for a few pictures. During the Wedding Breakfast, with us being there all the way through the Wedding, we noticed the rain had stopped. Asking the couple if they wanted to go outside, we were greeted with a delighted ‘yes’. With ‘wellies’ on, off we went together with David of Rideout Productions, had great fun, capturing lovely pictures.
Following the Wedding Breakfast, Speeches followed and later Cake cutting and First Dance pictures. What a day! Thank you to Wayne and Estelle for your smiles, laughter, all day long. Great also working with Rideout as always and all the staff at Fennes.

Wedding Photography for Ashley & Simon – St Andrew's Church, Hempstead & Spains Hall, Finchingfield
An early start for us for Ashley & Simon’s Wedding as Ashley was getting ready at Crest Lodge, Spains Hall, before leaving to go to St. Andrew’s Church, Hempstead. On arrival, the girls were having their make-up applied by the superb make-up artist, Alexis Day. A wonderful atmosphere and some lovely pictures to take. We photographed Ashley in the garden together with her Parents and Bridesmaids before leaving for the Church. Following the Church service most of the group pictures were taken outside the Church door as this made a lovely setting.
Ashley and Simon left the Church after being showered in confetti and made their way to Spains Hall, Finchingfield. Guests congregated inside and outside the House during the Drinks Reception as did Ashley and Simon, before we went for a short walk around the splendid grounds of Spains Hall for Ashley and Simon’s romantic pictures.
Being a beautiful day, the stunning backdrops of Spains Hall made Ashley and Simon’s together pictures even better. Making sure Ashley and Simon had time to speak to their Guests, after a little while, the Bridal Party made their way to the front of Spains Hall for some fun bridal party pictures before being joined by everybody else. After the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, evening Guests arrived and shortly the First Dance. Following the First Dance, we took a couple of pictures of Ashley and Simon outside The Stables, before we left.

Wedding Photography for Victoria & Michael – St Leonard's Church, Lexden & Westwood Park, Colchester
When we arrived at Victoria’s Parents’ house, preparations were in full swing, everything going well, lots of details and action for us to capture. Mum and Dad’s garden was spectacular and even though it was very hot with the sun shining, we all wanted to take some pictures in the wonderful setting.
With images captured, it was time for us to leave for St Leonard’s Church, Lexden. Michael, his Best Man and Ushers were greeting Guests when we arrived and in between arrivals we managed to get some pictures of them all. Not long afterwards, Victoria arrived at the Church with her Father and they made their way into the Church. Fortunately, we were able to photograph from the Balcony in this lovely Church, capturing some lovely images.
Some family group pictures were taken after the service, before going to Westwood Park. With many of the big group pictures being taken at the Church, Victoria and Michael had plenty of time to socialise at Westwood Park. Fun Bridal Party pictures happened during the afternoon as well as some Bride and Groom portraits around the beautiful grounds. With endless photographic opportunities, it was really nice that Victoria and Michael wanted to take advantage.
After the ‘Everybody’ picture by the Lake it was time for the Wedding Breakfast, followed by the Speeches. With timings working out well, and as the sun was going down, a few extra pictures were taken of Victoria and Michael.
Evening Guests arrived before the First Dance and not long afterwards we left them all to the celebrations.

Wedding Photography for Nerys & Chris – Parklands, Quendon Hall
What a beautiful day Nerys and Chris chose for their Wedding at Parklands, on the Essex and Hertfordshire border! As we arrived, the men were finishing their preparations downstairs in the house whilst Nerys was upstairs, about to move rooms to get dressed and have some pictures taken.
Having plenty of time and being in the splendid ‘red room’ (room l) we were very happy! Following the Civil Ceremony, everybody went outside to enjoy a Drinks Reception in the warm sunshine. Nerys and Chris requested some group pictures which we arranged whilst the Guests enjoyed playing the garden games, which provided laughter and fun, and some amusing pictures! Leaving the Guests for a little while ,Nerys, Chris and ourselves went for a short time around the grounds of Parklands.
The Wedding Breakfast and Speeches followed, before the evening celebrations. Nerys and Chris wowed their Guests with a fantastic rehearsed First Dance routine and we said goodbye to them after taking a couple of pictures outside the front of Parklands.
