It was a beautiful spring day for the Wedding of Sarah and James at The Fennes Estate, Bocking. Sarah and her Bridesmaids were busily getting ready with everything going very smoothly. James was also getting ready at Fennes and when he was ready he greeted the arrival of the first Guests for their Wedding, before some pictures of him , his Best Man and Ushers. Sarah was very soon ready and together with her Bridesmaids had a few pictures taken before the Civil Ceremony. Following the Ceremony, Sarah and James led their Guests through the House and outside for the Drinks Reception. Guests enjoyed the warm sunshine whilst we got on with a few requested family group pictures. Fun and laughter took place during some bridal party pictures before we managed to take Sarah and James for a litte while for their pictures. Sarah and James had a few pictures in the Red room before it was time for confetti pictures and the Wedding Breakfast. Speeches followed before a break before the evening. Being such a lovely day, Sarah and James had a wonderful sunset picture before it was time for the First Dance.
We took some evening Guest pictures, before James and the Wedding Guests were given a surprise with a rehearsed dance by Sarah and the girls! The response by the boys, an unrehearsed dance! Great fun, lovely atmosphere, wonderful captured images of the day!

Wedding Photography for Louise & Jamie – Fennes, Bocking
The Fennes Estate with the addition of a snow covering, made an even more amazing setting for Louise and Jamie’s Wedding! Seeing the line up of wellies, on arrival, we knew it was going to be a great day! Lots of excitable noise could be heard upstairs in Fennes with the girls getting ready. Harry, Louise and Jamie’s son, was with them and had plenty of attention paid to him. After capturing the getting ready pictures and once the girls were ready we took a few photographs before it was time for the Civil Ceremony.
Louise looked radiant walking into the Ceremony with her Father, followed by the Bridesmaids. After the Ceremony, Louise, Jamie, family and friends enjoyed the Drinks Reception whilst we captured some informal images. A little while later after a few family photographs in the warm in the Gold Room and following a change of footware for many of us, we ventured outside with the Bridal Party for some fun relaxed pictures walking through the snow. The Bridesmaids and Groomsmen returned inside leaving Louise, Jamie, Harry and us to go to the Bridge.
With beautiful light, a wonderful setting, a happy couple, some lovely pictures! Confetti pictures were in the Gold Room before the Receiving Line. After greeting their Guests, it was time for the Speeches before the Wedding Breakfast. Harry’s Birthday was the following day so after the Wedding Breakfast there was a surprise Birthday cake for him. Before the arrival of their Evening Guests, Louise and Jamie wanted to have a few pictures taken around the inside of Fennes. Not long after Louise and Jamie cut their Wedding Cake and took to the dance floor for their First Dance. Our night finished with a couple of closing pictures of Louise and Jamie in front of Fennes.
Great to work with David of Rideout Productions again and thanks to the staff at Fennes for looking after us so well.

Wedding & Portrait Photographers International Convention 2013
David has recently returned from Wedding & Portrait Photographers International Convention (WPPI) in MGM Grand, Las Vegas. The convention covers a whole range of seminars, classes and workshops for the 15,000 delegates.
David’s favourite part was listening to the judging in the competitions, at which the standard was extremly high. Despite the high standard one picture did get sufficient score for an ‘Accolade of Excellence’ and displayed in the exhibition. Only four pictures from UK photographers achieved that this year!
The Awarded picture was in the Wedding Photojournalism section and was titled ‘Bulls Eye!” Slightly hard to see on a small online picture, the bridesmaid has just thrown the petals into the bride’s cleavage, the reaction you can see even at this size!

Wedding Photography for Sammy & Jack – The Fennes Estate
Sammy and Jack chose the superb Wedding Venue, The Fennes, for their Wedding. Our first port of call on our arrival at Fennes was to the girls to see how things were coming along. All was running smoothly, time for some detail pictures and capturing the atmosphere of the day. Before long it was time for Jack, his Best Man and Usher to greet the first of their Guests downstairs as well as having a few photographs. It was a dry bright day so stepping outside for the guys pictures was a must. Once Sammy was ready, and after seeing the Registrars, it was time for her to make her entrance into the Pavilion for the Ceremony.
After the Ceremony, Sammy and Jack led the way to the Drinks Reception at the front of the House and outside to take the ‘everybody’ picture. The Guests remained outside enjoying the Drinks and sunshine so we took the opportunity to take their family photographs. Sammy and the Bridesmaids wanted some pictures on the bridge we then took Sammy and Jack for their pictures around Fennes.
After confetti pictures in the Gold Room, it was time for the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, before a few pictures of Sammy and Jack followed by the evening reception. After taking some informal pictures of their Evening Guests and the First Dance, Sammy and Jack wanted a night picture with Fennes Bridal cottage which we took before saying goodnight and watching them re-join their Guests for the rest of the evening.
Thanks to the staff at Fennes for looking after us so well.

Wedding Photography for Dayna & Ross – The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands
Our first Wedding of 2013 turned out to be a very special one! We were delighted to be asked to photograph the Wedding of Dayna and Ross at The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield. Dayna was Bridesmaid at the Weddings of her two sisters, which we photographed. Cherise married in 2010 at St Nicholas Church, Witham with a reception at Five Lakes, Maldon, and Alexandra’s Wedding at The Whittlebury Hotel, Silverstone, in 2011 .We familiarised ourselves with the Venue the day before the Wedding and re-acqainted ourselves with members of the family, with so much happening on the Wedding Day , we knew that was the best thing to do! Arriving at The Belfry on the day of the Wedding, I stayed with the girls whilst David went off to find the guys. With six Bridesmaids and a Flowergirl, there was plenty to photograph as there was for David with two Best Men and four Ushers! The room where Dayna was getting ready opened out onto a Balcony and with the weather being dry we used this setting for some photographs, as well as inside.
Before long it was time for the Civil Ceremony in the Warwick Suite and Dayna and her father entered the room to a rapturous welcome. Following the Ceremony, the Guests made their way to The Woodlands Suite for the Reception, whilst Dayna, Ross, the Bridal Party and Parents and ourselves went outside to the Herb Garden for a few family pictures and a few of Dayna and Ross.
After taking the Golf Buggy to the Reception Dayna and Ross joined in with the Drinks Reception and socialised with their Guests, whilst we captured some relaxed pictures. Once everybody was in the room for the Wedding Breakfast, Dayna and Ross entered and went onto the dance floor for their First Dance.
With a wonderful atmosphere, dancing took place for a little while before the serving of the Wedding Breakfast. Speeches followed later before the resuming of the dancing to the Band. After a long but very rewarding and enjoyable day, we said our goodbyes.
