  • Wedding Photography Gosfield Hall – Amanda & Damian

Wedding Photography Gosfield Hall for Amanda and Damien – We were delighted to be asked to photograph Amanda and Damian’s Wedding at the superb Gosfield Hall. Amanda is the Principal Registration Officer in Braintree so knows and meets many photographers, so we were privileged to be chosen to photograph her Wedding.  Arriving at Gosfield Hall we went upto the Rococco Suite to meet with Amanda where she and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Things were going well. Meanwhile, David met Damian downstairs to take some pictures of him with his Best Man, Jamie. The weather was not behaving itself but it didn’t matter as Gosfield Hall is such a stunning Venue there are plenty of wonderful backdrops for some pictures inside as well as outside. It wasn’t long before Amanda was looking radiant and ready for some photographs,  before familiar faces from Braintree Registrars  as well as Chelmsford Registrars entered the Rococco Suite for checking the Registers prior to the ceremony. Damian and the Guests were seated in the Queen’s Gallery ready for the Ceremony, Amanda, who was given away by her Brother, Chris, made her way down the corridor for the Ceremony.  Afterwards, Amanada and Damian led their Guests down the staircase for the Drinks Reception.  As it was still raining outside we took a few group pictures in the Grand Salon in between some informal pictures. Amanda and Damian socialised with their Guests for a while before we took them for their pictures together.  Unfortunately the rain continued to prevent us going outside so we stayed in the dry. The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Banqueting Hall with the Speeches taking place beforehand. Later a break in the weather allowed us to take a few nightime pictures with Gosfield Hall lit up before the evening celebrations started.  The evening Guests arrived so Amanda and Damian  cut their Wedding Cake and then it was time for the First Dance. A little later and happy with what we had captured of Amanada and Damian’s lovely Wedding Day, we said our goodbyes.

  • Wedding Photography Prested Hall – Helen & Matthew

For wedding photography Prested Hall is excellent and it was a beautiful day when we arrived for the Wedding of Helen and Matthew. The bridal preparations were going well with the Flowergirls, Katie and Amy enjoying watching what was going on.  Meanwhile, Guests were starting to arrive but before Matt, his Best Man, Michael, and Usher, Ricky, greeted too many, we managed to steal them away for a few pictures, not forgetting Joseph, the Pageboy.  After some relaxed informal pictures of the girls once they were ready we took a few relaxed portraits. The grounds of Prested Hall were bathed in sunshine and made a lovely backdrop for the outside Ceremony.  After the Ceremony, Helen and Matthew led their Guests to watch the release of doves before the Drinks Reception. During this time we took a few family pictures as well as capturing the relaxed atmosphere. We all had fun doing the Bridal Party pictures before we went for a walk with Helen and Matt for their pictures. Prested Hall has endless backdrops for photographs and we ended up with quite a selection!  Just before the Wedding Breakfast the happy couple were showered in confetti.  After coverage of the Speeches, the early evening entertainment was provided by the brilliant Steve Hearn, the caricaturist, of drawn4u. Once most of the evening Guests had arrived Helen threw her bouquet and we captured some fun photographs of the Hen and Stag Parties that Helen and Matt asked for.  This was followed by the cake cutting and the First Dance.  Our coverage of Helen and Matt’s lovely Wedding Day ended with pictures of them and their Guests having fun with some Sparklers.

  • Wedding Photography Layer Marney – Sophie & Glen

Layer Marney Tower was the Wedding Venue for Sophie and Glen’s Wedding.  First of all we met Sophie at the Five Lakes, Crowne Plaza, Colchester, where she was staying and getting ready for her Wedding Day.  After some pictures of the accessories and Sophie, her Bridesmaids and her Mum, it was time for us to leave for Layer Marney.  The Guests who were staying at the Crowne Plaza, including Glen’s family over from New Zealand, took the Layer Marney bus to Layer Marney and as we were there before them we took a few pictures of them as they arrived.  Having time, we took Glen, his Best Man, and Ushers around by the tower for their pictures. Sophie arrived soon after in the Layer Marney Rolls Royce and made her way to see the Registrars. All the Guests were seated and it was time for the Ceremony, so Sophie entered the Corsellis Room with her Mother giving her away.  Immediately after the Ceremony, Sophie and Glen went for a ride in the car whilst their Guests were served with drinks.  On their return after a couple of pictures of them with the car, their Guests greeted Sophie and Glen as they walked up path.  In between social time for Sophie and Glen we took some family group pictures.  During the afternoon Sophie and Glen had their pictures around the grounds of Layer Marney as well as inside the Long Gallery.  Before long it was time for the Speeches.  Sophie and Glen decided to have these before the start of the Wedding Breakfast.  With a little time afterwards, this allowed for a few evening pictures before the First Dance.  Our day finished with a night picture on the steps of Layer Marney.

  • Wedding photographer provides 1500 images

We had a discussion with one bride this weekend who was keen to tell us that she was getting 1500 pictures from her wedding photographer and we only offered about 300.  LOL, all I can say is she must have an amazing photographer if they can produce that many unique images at a wedding ….oh did I use the word unique?  We edit ours down in numbers so our couples do not have to do that work, I guess we put in a bit more effort than some others!  Less is often more, do you want bloomers or lingerie ?

  • Haughley Park Barn Wedding Photography – Katherine & Matthew

It was a warm day when we arrived at Haughley Park Barn, Suffolk, for the Wedding of Katherine and Matthew.  Katherine and her family were getting ready in The Farmhouse together with Katherine’s Matron of Honour, Nicola, whose Wedding we photographed earlier in the year at Crabbs Barn, Essex, with Katherine as Bridesmaid!  Meanwhile, Matt, his Best Man and Usher, had arrived so we took a few pictures of them with the Aston Martin they arrived in.  Everybody was soon ready in the Farmhouse so we took a few photographs inside and some outside.  With all  the Guests seated for the Ceremony, Katherine made her way accompanied by her brothers, Mike and Stephen, Nicola and the Flowergirls, Jemima and Iris into the entrance of the Barn. With Mike and Stephen escorting Katherine down the aisle Matt’s breath was taken away as Katherine reached the front and the emotion of the day got to Nicola as well during her reading.  Following the Ceremony, Katherine and Matt led their Guests outside to the Drinks Reception.  Not leaving them too long, especially as it was threatening to rain, the requested family group pictures were taken.  Fortunately, the weather held so whilst the Guests mingled Katherine and Matt went for a walk with the Flowergirls, then the rest of the Bridal Party joined them in front of the House, for a couple of pictures.  Haughley Park Barn is wonderful for some lovely photographic opportunities which we were eager to explore together with Katherine and Matt. Rejoining their Guests Katherine and Matt had a little time with their Guests before the confetti pictures . The Speeches followed the Wedding Breakfast and afterwards as the evening Guests arrived we took a few relaxed pictures as well as catching up with Kris, Nicola’s husband, and family members.  A sunset picture in front of the house was a must before the First Dance and later a couple of nightime pictures. A lovely day!Haughly Park wedding photography Haughly Park wedding photos Haughly Park Barn wedding photography

  • Turkey Mill Wedding Photography – Lisa & Colin

The beautiful Turkey Mill Wedding Venue, in Maidsone, Kent, was where Lisahhjj and Colin picked for their Civil Ceremony and Reception. Before going there we travelled to Lisa and Colin’s home which is where Lisa was getting ready and where we met up with David of Rideout Productions. Everything was going well and on time and we captured some nice images together with the details shots.  Once everybody was ready we took a few pictures before leaving to go to Turkey Mill.  Although we had been to Turkey Mill before, this was our first time photographing  a Wedding there.  The landscaped gardens looked lovely and with such wonderful weather it looked extra beautiful. We found Colin and his Groomsmen and took their pictures in between Guests’ arrival pictures.  Lisa arrived with her Mum, who was giving her away, at the front of Turkey Mill and we were able to take a few pictures of Lisa on her own as well as with her Mum before the Ceremony. Together with her Bridesmaids they then made their way over the bridge towards the Orangery where the Ceremony was held. Afterwards Lisa and Colin stepped out onto the lawn and greeted their Guests before the requested family pictures were taken.  Later as the Guests continued to enjoy the Drinks Reception we took Lisa and Colin for a short walk for a few pictures of them together, before returning to take the confetti pictures. The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Garden Room, followed by the Speeches.  Lisa and Colin wanted to make the most of this wonderful Wedding Venue so we were more than happy to go for a different walk around the grounds, including the Turkey Mill Pond and the tumbling Waterfall.  Turkey Mill in the evening provided Lisa and Colin with wonderful backdrops which we captured.  As for Lisa and Colin’s First Dance, wow!  A great rehearsed dance, so good!  A wonderful day, a lovely couple, a superb Wedding Venue and great to see Sarah and Will again and their family, thank you for recommending us! Oh yes, and in case you don’t take our word for it we recognised Turkey Mill as the setting for the wedding of Dr Watson in the recent Sherlock series on BBC 1!wedding photography at Turkey Mill Turkey Mill wedding photos wedding photography at Turkey Mill, Maidstone, Kent Turkey Mill reportage wedding photography Turkey Mill photojournalistic wedding photography Maidstone wedding photo at Turkey Mill Turkey Mill, Kent wedding photographer Kent night photographs at Turkey Mill wedding

  • The Fennes Estate Wedding Photography – Danielle & Tom

Fennes was the chosen Wedding Venue for Danielle and Tom’s Wedding Day.  From the moment we stepped through the door excitement was plentiful! The girls were busily getting ready and with lots to photograph there was no time to lose!  Everything was going well downstairs with the men making sure they were looking their best and getting ready for their pictures to be taken. Once the girls were ready we took a few portraits, also including Danielle’s parents.  The Civil Ceremony was held in the Pavilion and afterwards everybody went outside. Following a few family pictures and capturing some informal shots, it was time for a few together pictures of Danielle and Tom around the grounds.  We had an enjoyable time taking the Bridal Party fun pictures later.  Danielle and Tom received their Guests before they entered the Marquee for the Wedding Breakfast.  Irie J provided the entertainment during this time and it was great to see him again.  Coverage of the Speeches provided us with some wonderful relaxed pictures.  Evening Guests arrived later and after capturing some couple shots, it was time for the First Dance, with Irie J singing again.  Not long afterwards we left them all to continue the celebrations.  A lovely day and nice to work with White Dress Films again.

  • Fennes Wedding Photography – Emily & Geoffrey

It was a beautiful day when we arrived at The Fennes Estate for the pictures of Emily’s final preparations for her Wedding Day.  After taking some photographs upstairs, we used the opportunity of using the Gold Room for a few pictures before making our way to the Church.  All Saints Church, Cressing was where we went to and met Geoffrey, his Ushers and Best Man for their pictures.  We used the shade and coolness of the Church door for their pictures before it was time for Geoffrey to go inside.  Emily arrived soon afterwards and took her Mother’s arm as they walked up the path and into the Church.  Once the service had finished, Emily and Geoffrey came out of the Church followed by their Guests.  After a couple of pictures and confetti pictures it was time to leave for the Reception. Fennes looked stunning in the sunshine and as we arrived with Emily and Geoffrey we made the most of the setting for their pictures whilst the Guests were arriving.  The Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception outside whilst requested family group pictures took place later.  Following the Speeches after the Wedding Breakfast everybody had time to enjoy the evening sunshine before the cake cutting and First Dance.  We left feeling happy and confident we had recorded the events of Emily and Geoffrey’s Wedding Day in a good way.wedding pictures from Fennes, Essex Fennes wedding photographs Fennes wedding photos

  • Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photography – Toni & Russell

Before going to Layer Marney Tower we first attended Crown Plaza Five Lakes Resort, Colchester, where Toni, her Parents and Bridesmaids were getting ready.  With detail shots taken, Toni wanted to have some pictures taken with all of them outside in the garden. This didn’t take too long as it was rather warm and time was going quickly, as always.  Leaving them, we travelled to Layer Marney Tower, Layer-de-la-Haye. With Venue pictures and other details photographed, there was time for some pictures of Russell and his Groomsmen around the grounds of Layer Marney Tower. They all then headed up to the Corsellis Room for the Civil Ceremony.  Toni arrived soon after and with all Guests seated she made her way into the room.  Graham, Layer Marney’s Chauffeur, was waiting for them outside after the Ceremony to take them for a short drive in the vintage Rolls Royce. Meanwhile their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the grounds, with us taking some candid shots of them.  Toni and Russell Returned to Layer Marney Tower and walked up the path to meet their Guests. In between socialising with their Guests some family pictures were taken.  Toni and Russell wanted to have some more pictures taken of them together all around Layer Marney Tower, fine by us!  Speeches were before the Wedding Breakfast and we took couple pictures of families and couples as requested by Toni and Russell before the meal was served.  The sunset provided Toni and Russell a lovely picture before the First Dance. While were photographing the sunset Toni asked if we could do a video clip of the first dance, something we have never done before for a wedding! What a dance it was! Fabulous!  So worth the effort with the video filming!  A night picture completed our coverage of a lovely day. • Gaynes Park Wedding Photography – Melanie & Antony

Melanie and Antony chose the superb Wedding Venue, Gaynes Park in Epping, for their Wedding.  The weather on the day could not have been better and added to the setting.  Melanie and the girls were in the Apple Loft Cottage with final preparations taking place when we arrived.  We took a few pictures of Antony with his Best Man and Ushers, shortly after they arrived, making sure we captured him on his Speedway motorbike!  Once the girls were ready we took a few portraits of them before the Civil Ceremony.  Melanie looked lovely as she made the walk from the cottage through the gate and along the path towards the Orangery.  Following the Ceremony, Melanie and Antony led their Guests outside for the Drinks Reception. Greeting their Guests made for some relaxed pictures before a few family group pictures, which was followed by a short walk around the grounds of Gaynes Park for Melanie and Antony’s pictures.  After a break with their guests, we arranged the confetti pictures outside the Orangery just before it was time for the Wedding Breakfast.  Guests made their way to the Mill Barn and were followed in by Melanie and Antony.  The speeches followed the wedding Breakfast during which we captured candid relaxed pictures. The light was good after the meal so we took the opportunity for a few more pictures of the happy couple culminating in some really nice sunset shots. The First Dance generated some very emotional pictures, our day ended with a picture under the illuminated Gaynes Park Gazebo, to complete our coverage of a lovely Wedding.wedding photography Gaynes Park, Epping 130830-Mel&Ant-01 130830-Mel&Ant-03
