Fennes Wedding Photography – Leanne and Darren chose the popular and superb venue Fennes for their Wedding. We arrived at The Fennes Estate in plenty of time to capture the girls getting ready and the boys’ preparations. The Fennes Suite provided space for the majority of Leanne’s accessories to be photographed whilst the girls finished getting ready in the Bridal Room. Once Leanne was ready we took a few portraits of her, followed by some pictures with the Bridesmaids and Parents. Leanne then made her way down the stairs to be greeted by her Dad and met the Registrars. The Bridesmaids, Nicola and Vicki, the Bridesmaids with Sophia, the Flowergirl and Owen, the Pageboy, all waited in the Blue Room and we captured some nice informal pictures. Leanne entered the Pavilion for the Civil Ceremony to begin. It had been raining from the very start of the day and the forecast was not good so when the Ceremony finished, Leanne and Darren led their Guests to the front of the house for the Drinks Reception. One of the great features of Fennes for wedding photography is that we can get our job done whatever the weather! The Gold Room made a nice setting for the group pictures and after a few minutes they were complete. Fennes “Bridge” shot is a ‘must have’ and with Leanne and Darren really wanting this, off we went with brollies and wellies on! Brilliant results! A couple of pictures upstairs in Fennes were followed by confetti shots in the Gold Room, before the Wedding Breakfast. After the Speeches, having a little time before the evening celebrations, we found some other spots for Leanne and Darren’s pictures. Evening Guests arrived and with some informal pictures taken, it was soon time for the cake cutting and First Dance. Ending Leanne and Darren’s Wedding Day we did them a nightime picture to finish our coverage. A lovely couple and an amazing day! An extra special ‘thank you’ to Leanne and Darren for wanting their pictures and for their smiles all day long which helped our job, on what could have been a difficult day!

Gaynes Park Wedding Photography for Colinda & Nigel
Gaynes Park, Epping, was the chosen Wedding Venue for Colinda and Nigel’s Wedding Day. Gaynes Park, looked wonderful in the brilliant sunshine as we arrived on the morning of the Wedding. The Apple Loft Cottage was where Colinda and her family and Bridesmaids were getting ready. Preparations were going well especially as Colinda and her Parents had been at Gaynes Park most of the morning dressing the Venue with flowers, Colinda is a florist. Meanwhile Nigel and his Groomsmen were having a few pictures taken in the Gather Barn before many of the Guests arrived. After taking a few accessory and getting ready pictures of the girls, there was just enough time to take a few formal pictures before it was time for the Civil Ceremony. Colinda on her father’s arm made the walk through the gates of the walled garden and into the Orangery for the Ceremony. Afterwards Colinda and Nigel led their Guests outside for the Drinks Reception. A little while later we took the family group pictures and a few pictures of Colinda and Nigel in the walled garden. With all the guests enjoying the wonderful weather we captured some relaxed pictures during the afternoon. As everybody made their way over to the Gaynes Park Mill Barn for the Wedding Breakfast, it was a good opportunity for the group picture of the whole party and for confetti to be thrown over Colinda and Nigel. The barn looked fabulous as the Wedding Guests entered the Barn and we made the most of some extra time with the Bride and Groom. Speeches were after the Wedding Breakfast and later on we took Colinda and Nigel for a few minutes for some pictures under the Pergola as it was illuminated. Part of Nigel’s job is hiring dance floors which he of course did for this wedding and it looked superb. After Colinda and Nigel’s First Dance, everybody took to the floor for the dancing. Happy with our pictures, a little while late we took our leave. A lovely day!

Wedding Photography Kelvedon, Essex for Sophie & Jamie
Wedding Photography Kelvedon – Sophie and Jamie’s Church Wedding was at St Mary the Virgin Church, Kelvedon and then back to Sophie’s Parents’ home nearby. Our day started early afternoon at Sophie’s Parents’ home where preparations were taking place. Everything was running smoothly and after capturing the getting ready pictures together with all the accessories it was time for a few family pictures. We left soon after to go to the Church where we met Jamie and his Groomsmen. With the rain holding off for the moment we managed to take their pictures outside. Keeping our fingers crossed Sophie would arrive in the dry (it worked!), it wasn’t long before the Church service began. Being a late afternoon Wedding in December and with the light rapidly going, when Sophie and Jamie came out of the Church, we didn’t delay getting back to the Reception. Once back at Sophie’s Parents’ house, Sophie and Jamie escaped inside while the Wedding Guests were ushered into the Marquee in the grounds. By this time the heavens had opened! Leaving Sophie and Jamie for some time alone, a short time later we joined them to take some pictures of them together. A surprise firework display happened at the same time in the grounds which made for some good reaction pictures. Once everybody had arrived, Sophie and Jamie made their entrance into the Marquee and enjoyed the Drinks Reception. As the weather was definitely not on our side, requested group pictures were taken in the Marquee. Later before the Wedding Breakfast, Sophie’s brother Ben made a Speech which did not leave many dry eyes by the end! Following the Wedding Breakfast, we covered the rest of the Speeches before the evening celebrations. Sophie and Jamie wanted to have some pictures taken using the backdrop of an old ruins of Felix Hall in the grounds, which had been lit up especially for their Wedding. Despite the awful weather, armed with umbrellas and something to stand on, off we went! Pleased with the results we returned to the evening Reception. With the Band set up it was soon time for Sophie and Jamie’s First Dance. After a finishing picture we left them all to dance the night away. A lovely day!

Wedding Photography Gosfield Hall for Stephanie & Marc
Wedding Photography Gosfield Hall – We were delighted to be asked to photograph Stephanie and Marc’s Wedding at the superb Wedding Venue, Gosfield Hall. This Wedding was extra special to us as we have known Marc for a number of years, growing up with our son Jonathan. On arrival at Gosfield Hall, the Rococco Suite was where the girls were getting ready and that is where we made our way to. The girls were busy with the bridal preparations with the boys downstairs attending to their jobs. With lots going on David and I were kept busy and once everyone was ready the posed pictures were taken. The Civil Ceremony was held in the Queen’s Gallery and Steph looked radiant as she made her entrance. Afterwards, Steph and Marc led their Guests down the stairs and into the Drawing Room for the Drinks Reception. With rain in the air just at the time we were going to go outside, we let Steph and Marc make the most of some extra time with their Guests. Fortunately, the weather improved enabling everyone to go outside for the required family pictures and Bridal fun pictures. During the afternoon we took Steph and Marc for a short walk around the grounds of Gosfield Hall for their together pictures. Following the Receiving Line, the Wedding Breakfast was served before the Speeches. A ‘first’ for us during the Speeches, photographing our son, who was Best Man! It turned out that we were more nervous than our son! Stephanie and Marc were lucky enough to get a sunset picture, it was not looking as if there was going to be one! With the evening celebrations beginning, Steph and Marc’s evening Guests arrived. followed by the cutting of the cake. Steph and Marc then had their First Dance and we captured some lovely moments. With some night shots taken of them both we left them all to continue the party. A wonderful day!

Wedding Photography Three Rivers Golf & Country Club – Emma & Jody
Wedding Photography Three Rivers – Our Wedding Photography for Emma and Jody’s Wedding started at home where Emma was getting ready. Once Emma was ready we took a few bridal portraits together with some pictures with her family and Freya the Flowergirl. Later we left to go to Christ Church, Braintree, which is where Emma and Jody were to be married. When we arrived we met Jody, his Parents and his Best Man, Rob. It was spitting with rain but we managed to take a few pictures outside before many of their Guests arrived. Soon it was time for Jody to go inside as Emma was not far from the Church. Emma went straight inside the Church when she arrived as the weather was not too great, and we just took a few photographs of the action as it was happening. Emma made her way up the aisle where Jody was waiting for her and the service began. At the end of the Ceremony it was decided to stay inside as the rain outside was quite heavy. Emma and Jody greeted their Guests whilst David and I organised the close family for a few pictures in the Church before leaving for the Reception. Three Rivers Golf & Country Club has some small covered areas where we could keep the guests dry whilst we took some other group pictures, although David had to be in the rain to take them! We found a couple of other sheltered spots for Emma and Jody’s pictures which we were very pleased with as well taking some pictures inside. With the sky brightening and the rain stopping we managed to squeeze a few minutes with Emma and Jody by the lake before the Wedding Breakfast. After photographing the Speeches there was a little while before the evening Reception started. A couple of full moon pictures and some night shots of the Venue with Emma and Jody were quite special . Emma and Jody cut their Wedding Cake just before having their First Dance together. A little while later we left them to continue their evening.

Wedding Photography Fennes for Stephanie & Raymond
Wedding Photography Fennes – We arrived early on the morning of Stephanie and Raymond’s Wedding Day at The Fennes Estate, Bocking, Essex. Stephanie was getting ready there with her family, Bridesmaids, her Flowergirl and Pageboy, prior to her Church Wedding. Lots of activity was going on with plenty of images to capture. With the detail pictures taken, it wasn’t long before the girls were ready for a few portraits. Keeping an eye on the time we were able to take some nice pictures before it was time for us to leave to go to the Church. The beautiful Thaxted Parish Church was where Stephanie and Raymond were going to be married. It was a dry day and with the Wedding Guests arriving and walking down the path, and Raymond and his Groomsmen walking down the road and into the Church, we captured some great relaxed shots. With Ray’s posed pictures taken, it wasn’t long before Stephanie arrived. Thaxted Church is one of our favourite churches being large and light giving us opportunities to capture moments of the service unobtrusively. At the end of the service Stephanie and Ray exited the Church and greeted their Guests before a few close family photos. The happy couple were then showered in confetti before leaving for Fennes. Once at Fennes, wanting to make the most of the nice weather we took Stephanie and Ray onto the Bridge before their Guests arrived. Stephanie and Ray wanted an everybody shot in the shape of a heart, which we have done a few times before but not with so many Guests! The timing of this was important, a surprise fly-past was to follow and a massive ‘thank you’ goes to Nicola of Fennes for her help! After the fly-past,it was time for the Wedding Breakfast, followed by the Speeches. Everybody then mingled throughout the House as evening Guests arrived. The evening entertainment was to be held in the Banqueting Hall and when the Band was ready. Stephanie and Ray led their Guests into the room for the dancing to begin. A lovely day!
