  • Wedding Photography Kent – Court Lodge Barn, Stansted for Emma & James

Wedding Photography Kent – It was a bright and early start for us, with fingers crossed for the rain to stop for Emma and James’ Wedding in Kent –  We arrived at Emma’s house and the bridal preparations were well underway and going smoothly. With lots to photograph I busily got on with the ‘getting ready’pictures whilst David did something we don’t often do and disappeared for a little while to photograph the men’s preparations at the nearby Brands Hatch Place Hotel.

David returned shortly and it wasn’t long before the girls were dressed and ready for a few pictures. As it had dried up outside we took a couple of pictures of Emma, the Bridesmaid and her Parents and a few bridal portraits, before it was time for us to leave for the Church.

St Mary’s Church, Fawkham, was where Emma and James were to be married.  The sunshine was out as James, his Groomsmen and the Guests arrived at the Church.  A few pictures of James with his Best Man and Ushers were taken before it was time for them to go inside the Church.

Emma arrived at Church with her Father and Bridesmaids and made the short walk up the path and into the Church for the service.

After being showered in confetti Emma and James left the Church for the Reception.

Court Lodge Barn, Stansted was the chosen Wedding Venue and as the Guests arrived they enjoyed the Drinks reception in the warm sunshine in the grounds behind the Barn whilst being entertained by a Steel Band. Once Emma and James arrived, we took a few pictures of them before they socialised. During this time we took some informal pictures before the fun bridal pictures before the Wedding Breakfast.

As there was a few minutes between the end of the dessert and Speeches, and it was very hot in the Barn, Emma and James came outside and we took advantage and took some pictures of them.  This was followed by capturing some lovely reactions when the Speeches took place.

The lane beside the Barn provided Emma and James with some lovely evening pictures before their First Dance.  Thinking we were not going to get a sunset that evening, we all were delighted when we looked skywards for the umpteenth time that evening and found we did! A nice way to end our coverage of a lovely Wedding.

Paula’s Bridal preparations were going well upstairs, David was downstairs greeting their Guests. Once we had used a few minutes capturing a few pictures of him we left him to return to the guests. • Wedding Photography Layer Marney for Rebecca & James

Wedding Photography Layer Marney Tower– It was a lovely day for Rebecca and James’ Wedding.  Our day started at the home of Rebecca’s Parents for a few preparation pictures followed by a few portrait pictures once everybody was ready.  The garden proved to be a good spot for a few pictures before it was time to make our way to Layer Marney.  Rebecca and James chose to have a Church Ceremony at Layer Marney Church and that is where we met James with his Groomsmen.  In between the Groomsmen carrying out their duties and James greeting the Wedding Guests, some of whom travelled on the Layer Marney Routemaster bus, we managed to find a little time for a few pictures of them. Rebecca arrived not long afterwards in the Layer Marney Rolls Royce. Rebecca and her Bridesmaids then walked up the path and into the Church.  Following the  service there were a couple of pictures outside the church and the confetti shots. Rebecca and James went for a ride in the car, whilst their Guests walked the short distance from the Church up the path and steps to Layer Marney Tower, for the Drinks Reception.

Wedding Photography Layer Marney The String Quartet provided the entertainment for the Guests in the sunshine.and it wasn’t long before the happy couple returned.  With a few requested family group pictures to do we got on with them, followed later by some fun bridal party pictures, with the Flowergirls providing us with some extra fun pictures. Wedding Photographer Essex  Making sure Rebecca and James had time to talk to their Guests we just went for a short walk around Layer Marney with them for a few pictures.  The Wedding Breakfast took place in the Long Gallery and was followed by the Speeches. Afterwards everybody enjoyed the evening sunshine before the start of the evening Reception.  When it was time for the First Dance, Rebecca and James surprised their Guests with a superb rehearsed dance. With their dancing shoes on, their Guests then  joined them on the dance floor.  A firework display happened later on in the evening and that is when our coverage of this lovely day ended.Essex Wedding Photography It was nice to work with Emma Brooks, make up artist and Andrew of Crystal Clear and  no doubt we will be working with them again soon.

  • Crabbs Barn wedding photography for Hannah & Craig

Crabbs Barn Wedding Photography – It was a rather humid day to start with for Hannah and Craig’s Wedding but the almighty downpour before Hannah arrived at Crabbs Barn made way for cooler air and sunshine.  Hannah had her hair and make up done at home so just leaving a few final bridal preparations to do at Crabbs Barn. Hannah’s Wedding Dress and accessories were laid out in the Bridal Room and whilst these were being photographed, the girls were excitedly getting ready.  When Craig arrived at Crabbs Barn, he just needed to put on his cravat and jacket before he was ready with his Best Man and Usher for a few pictures in the grounds – Hannah being well out of sight! It wasn’t long before Hannah, her Mum and Dad,  Bridesmaids, Frankie, Julia and Catherine were all ready for their pictures.  They stepped outside as it was such a lovely day and we had time to take some nice images.  Paul from Crabbs Barn  arrived shortly afterwards to take them on the short walk to the front of the barn. This was the best time to escape for a few minutes with Hannah for a few extra pictures using the evening light.  After the cake cutting, it was time for Hannah and Craig’s First Dance.  What a fabulous First Dance!  Then to cap a memorable day for such a happy couple, a beautiful sunset!Essex Wedding Photographer

  • Wedding Photographer The Fennes, Bocking, for Lauren & Terry

The Fennes Estate was the chosen Wedding Venue for Lauren and Terry’s Wedding.  This lovely Venue is a joy to work at and fantastic for a  wedding photographer!  An early start was required for Lauren and her Bridesmaids with lots of preparations going on.  When we arrived we just followed the sound of laughter and excitement which led us upstairs into the Bridal Room. In between taking the details and accessory pictures, we captured some lovely informal moments of the preparations. At the same time we were keeping our ears open for the sound of a McLaren Sports Car which had been a surprise for Terry, he was being picked up and driven to Fennes by his Best Man.  We wanted to make sure we were in the right place so we did not miss the big arrival.  Once Terry with his Best Man and Ushers were all there, they quickly finished their preparations in the Library before any of the Guests arrived and we took a few portraits.

    Essex Wedding Photographers

Back upstairs the girls were almost ready. Lauren, six Bridesmaids and family members, and ourselves all moved to The Fennes Suite where there was more room for the finishing off and pictures.  As usual, the time was rapidly disappearing so we had to work quickly to get the pictures needed for Laura’s Storybook album.  Lauren’s Dad was waiting at the bottom of the stairs and greeted her before she saw the Registrars.

    Wedding Photographer Essex

Once the Guests were seated in the Pavilion, Lauren and her Bridesmaids made their entrance looking beautiful. Everybody enjoyed the Drinks Reception outside whilst we arranged the requested family pictures.  Trying to keep the wonderful relaxed atmosphere going we took some fun pictures of the Bridal Party and some car shots.  Leaving their Guests temporarily for a few minutes to take Lauren and Terry for their bridge shots resulted in some nice images.

    Essex Wedding Photographer

After the confetti shots it was time for the Speeches prior to the Wedding Breakfast in the delightfully decorated Pavilion. Lauren and Terry wanted some pictures in the Red Room and Gold Room together with other evening pictures. To make the most of their Venue in the pictures we took these in the relaxed time after the meal.

Going here, there and everywhere capturing images of the day, kept us busy!

Following the First Dance and some informal pictures of the evening Guests it was time for us to say goodbye.  A superb day! A couple of notes we must add, it is always great to work with  David of Rideout Films as we keep each other informed of what is happening that either of us could miss, and thanks to the staff at Fennes for making us welcome as usual.
