  • Great Hallingbury Manor Wedding Photography for Michelle & Chris

Great Hallingbury Manor Wedding Photography for Michelle & Chris – Michelle and Chris chose the contemporary Great Hallingbury Manor, Bishops Stortford, for their Wedding.  Our first port of call when we arrived was where the girls were getting ready in The Bridal Suite. Excitement, laughter, fun, was evident when we saw them with all preparations going well. Wedding Dress photos Great HallingburyI stayed with the girls whilst David went off to find the guys, as they arrived.  Chris had a few pictures taken with his Watch in front of their Fire Engine, and then some with his Best Men and Ushers.  Leaving them to carry out their duties, David then returned to the girls. wedding with fire engine Michelle and her Bridesmaids were applying the final touches to their preparations and it wasn’t long before we could take a few formal pictures and a couple of bridal portraits of Michelle.  With the Guests seated for the Civil Ceremony, it was soon time for Michelle to make the short walk to the Ceremony room, which overlooked the lake. wedding ceremony great hallingbury manor The members of Chris’ Watch provided a Guard of Honour as Michelle and Chris went outside into the sunshine.  As their Guests followed them, Michelle and Chris then had a few minutes to spend with them before they were showered in confetti.   Some family pictures followed and as time was short we went straight into some fun pictures.fun wedding photos Essex Some great natural moments! Giving Michelle and Chris a short breather before a few of their together pictures was the right call as just before the ‘everybody’ shot, and the Wedding Breakfast we took some nice pictures of the two of them.  After the Wedding Breakfast, the Speeches began.  An unexpected heavy downpour occurred fortunately whilst the Speeches were going on and luckily by the time they finished so had the rain. natural wedding photography Herts and EssexWith the ground drier, we took Michelle and Chris over to the lake for a few pictures.  As their Evening Guests arrived, and enjoyed the warm evening air, as the sun went down, Michelle and Chris ended up with some nice evening pictures. sunset wedding photos Essex Their First Dance was a surprise to the Guests except the Bridal Party.  Michelle and Chris started off by themselves for a very very short amount of time then were joined by the Bridal Party for an incredible routine.  Well done to all of them!  After taking a few pictures of their Evening Guests, it was time for us to go. A long but such a rewarding day!

  • Wedding Photography The Lawn, Rochford for Vicky and Lee

Wedding Photography The Lawn – Vicky and Lee chose the The Lawn, Rochford, Essex which was a lovely venue for their summer Wedding. On our arrival we made our way upstairs to the Brides Room where there was much excitement. Whilst the girls were getting ready, Lee, the Best Man and the Ushers had arrived, so it was off downstairs to meet them and take a few pictures of them all.

With the girls ready we took their photographs before Vicky’s dad entered the room. Some lovely joyous moments were captured, followed by some more as Amelia, the Flowergirl and George the Pageboy saw Vicky.

Wedding Photographer EssexAfter a few photos of Vicky it was time for her to see the Registrars.  Vicky then took her father’s arm and went down the stairs to the Ceremony.

Afterwards the happy couple led their Guests outside for the Drinks Reception. The weather was on our side, dry, but overcast, so we were able to get on with the requested group pictures outside.  After making sure Vicky and Lee had some time to relax and enjoy some of the afternoon with their Guests, we took a few fun shots of the Bridal Party. This was followed by taking Vicky and Lee for a short walk in the grounds for their together shots with the sun making an appearance.

Essex Wedding PhotographerEssex Wedding photographerThe Wedding Breakfast took place in The Orangery and was followed by coverage of the Speeches.  Finding a little time before the arrival of their evening Guests, we took Vicky and Lee for a few more pictures around The Lawn. Whilst the superb Band www.thelowdownband.com were finishing setting up we took some informal pictures of couples and evening Guests. Soon it was time for Vicky and Lee to cut their Wedding Cake and take to the floor for their First Dance.  A little while later it was time for us to say goodbye after a lovely day. It was nice to see Lee’s Parents, Lanna and Dave together with Lee’s brother, Glenn and his wife Kate, whose Wedding we photographed in at Newland Hall, Chelmsford, in 2009. Great also to see many familiar faces too numerous to list!

  • St Albans Cathedral Wedding Photography for Sophie & Steven

St Albans Cathedral Wedding – A privilege and delight to photograph a Wedding at this beautiful and stunning Venue. We were very pleased  to be asked to photograph Sophie and Steven’s Wedding at St. Albans Cathedral. Sophie and Steven were able to get married in St Albans Cathedral as they both went to University in the city.  Our day started at St. Michael’s, Manor Hotel in St Albans, where Sophie, her family and Bridesmaids were getting ready.  With lots going on there was much to photograph. Wedding Photographer Hertfordshire Once the Bridesmaids were ready we took a few pictures in the garden.  A breeze got up just as we were about to take some pictures of Sophie so we had to quickly find sheltered spot, not quite what we planned but we have to live with these things! Leaving them we then went to the Cathedral where  Steven was greeting some of the Guests as we arrived so in between we took Steven and his Groomsmen for their pictures.  It wasn’t long before the Bridesmaids arrived and waited with the Dean in the North Churchyard for the arrival of Sophie. With the Guests seated Sophie took her Father’s arm and made her entrance through the Pilgrim Door into the Cathedral and into the Lady Chapel.  A beautiful service followed allowing us to capture some lovely moments.  Sophie and Steven then led their Guests from the Lady Chapel to the West doors. Wedding Photographer Essex Outside, they then had a few minutes greeting their Guests before we took an everybody picture, followed by some requested family Groups.  Sophie and Steven were showered in rose petals before the guests left for the reception while the happy couple had a few pictures themselves in the Cathedral and around the grounds with David.  Meanwhile the Guests and I made their way to pick up the Routemaster bus  to the Wedding Reception at Shenley Cricket Club, Radlett. On arrival at Shenley Cricket Club the Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception and it wasn’t long before Sophie and Steven arrived.  Grace, Sophie’s sister then entertained everybody with her wonderful singing, providing some emotional moments, captured of course! After catching up on a few small group shots it was soon time for the Wedding Breakfast held in the Marquee. Coverage of the Speeches followed before a break before the evening celebrations. This allowed us to take Sophie and Steven for a few moments for a some of them in the soft evening light.Hertfordshire Wedding PhotographerDuring the evening we took some informal pictures of their evening Guests as well as speaking to familiar faces that earlier in the day we didn’t have time to speak to. Sophie and Steven cut their Wedding Cake just before the First Dance and with a sunset completed we were happy with our work for the day, it was time for us to say goodbye. A wonderful day!

  • Tyttenhanger Park Wedding Photography for Bridget & Chris

Tyttenhanger Park wedding – A new Venue for us! Bridget and Chris first saw us four years ago at Rebecca and Pete’s Wedding at Spains Hall, where they were Guests, so we were delighted to be asked to photograph their summer Wedding. It was a beautiful day when we arrived at Bridget and Chris’ house for Bridget’s final bridal preparations.  After capturing the details and accessories, we took a few pictures inside before stepping outside briefly for a couple more.  Just as we were leaving to go to the Church, the horse and carriage arrived for Bridget, her Parents and Bridesmaids.  St Thomas a Beckett Church in Northaw was the chosen Church for the marriage of Bridget and Chris.  We didn’t have long to wait  before Chris, his Parents, Best Man and Ushers arrived at the Church in a Limousine. After capturing a few pictures as they got out and a few traditional shots together with some Guest arrival pictures, we waited for Bridget. Once Bridget arrived she made her way into the Church for the service. St Thomas a Becket Church Northaw  Following the service, once all the guests had exited the Church, we got on with the requested pictures. With not much shade we worked as quickly as possible being an extremely hot day!  Bridget and Chris then left the Church in the Horse and Carriage to go to the Reception at Tyttenhanger Park.  As the Wedding Guests arrived before Bridget and Chris at Tyttenhanger Park, St Albans, they enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the superb grounds, entertained by the Harpist. We captured some lovely natural relaxed pictures of them all before Bridget and Chris arrived.  The splendid grounds of Tyttenhanger Park made a superb setting as Bridget and Chris arrived. Tyttenhanger Park wedding After they had socialised with their Guests for a little while, we took some fun bridal party pictures and a few pictures of Bridget and Chris around the grounds. Tyttenhanger Park wedding photography St AlbansAfter a big group shot it was time for the Wedding Breakfast in the Ballroom.  Before the beginning of the meal Bridget’s Dad and Chris gave their Speeches. The Best Man’s speech was after the meal after which everybody went outside and enjoyed the evening sunshine. With so many fabulous photographic opportunities at Tyttenhanger Park, we were spoilt for choice as to where to go for Bridget and Chris’ pictures, so taking a reality check, we condensed our ideas down!  Their Evening Guests were arriving and it was soon time for the cake cutting and First Dance.  Bridget and Chris entertained their Guests with a great rehearsed First Dance. Bridget and Chris wanted a sunset picture which incorporated a quick drive in our car and they were not disappointed!  A brilliant end to a brilliant day!

Tyttenhanger Park wedding photographer Herts  Thank you to Paul and Helen, the Owners of Tyttenhanger Park for making us so welcome.  Rebecca and Pete, lovely to see you again!

  • Forrester Park Wedding Photography for Carly & Craig

Forrester Park Wedding Photographyh – Carly’s Bridal preparations were well underway when we arrived to photograph them on the morning of her Wedding to Craig at St Bartholomews Church, Wickham Bishops.  Whilst taking some accessories pictures as well as the ‘getting ready’pictures, not on the cards for the day, the heavens opened!  Fortunately it didn’t last very long and after taking a few pictures of Carly with her Bridesmaids, Abi and Chelsea inside, we stepped outside for the rest. Leaving Carly, we went to St Bartholomews Church, Wickham Bishop, arriving just as Craig with his Parents, Best Men and Ushers arrived.  This allowed us to get some great informal pictures of them before the more arranged portraits.

Essex wedding photographerThe Guests were arriving and made their way into the Church.  The flower girls waited patiently for Carly to arrive and it wasn’t long before she did.  Taking her Father’s arm she walked into the Church.  After the service Carly and Craig led their Guests outside, greeted some of them before it was time to get on with the requested family pictures.  Once finished Guests lined the pathway and threw confetti over Carly and Craig before they got in the car to go to Forrester Park Wedding Reception. Forrester Park Wedding PhotographersForrester Park is between Maldon and Tiptree, Essex, near the village of Great Totham and was the chosen Wedding Venue for Carly and Craig’s Wedding Reception.  The Drinks Reception was held in the grounds of Forrester Park, with Guests looking for the shade as the sun was shining brightly and the temperature was rising! We captured some informal pictures during this time and in between took a few smaller group pictures and fun bridal party pictures.  Having a little time before the ‘everybody’ picture and the Wedding Breakfast, Carly, Craig and ourselves went for a quick walk around the grounds for a few pictures of them.  After the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, everybody enjoyed the evening sunshine and the evening Guests joined them.  Carly and Craig asked to do some relaxed more informal pictures which were were more than happy to take so off we went for a little while.  What a fun time we had!

Maldon Essex Photographer Essex As we returned, more of their Evening Guests had arrived and after talking to them for a little while, it was time for the First Dance.  Whilst the dancing carried on we kept a close eye on the sun going down, which was producing some wonderful colours in the sky.  A wonderful sunset followed!  Tiptree Wedding Photographer EssexThank you to Carly and Craig for wanting to do such a variety of pictures. Lots of familiar faces at this Wedding!  It was nice to see Debbie, Steve (Craig’s Parents) and Jack (brother) and Hayley (Craig’s sister) and James with their two children, Chloe, who was the beautiful Flowergirl, and Oliver.

  • Crabbs Barn Evening Wedding, Kelvedon for Elizabeth & Ryan

Crabbs Barn Evening Wedding – Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon was the chosen Wedding Venue for Elizabeth and Ryan’s evening Wedding Ceremony and Reception.  We arrived at Crabbs Barn and met Ryan, together with his brother who was the Best Man.  In between Ryan welcoming the Guests we took a couple of pictures of him together with members of his family before it was time for him to see the Registrars.  Elizabeth arrived shortly after with her daughter, who was the Flowergirl, and her sisters who were the Bridesmaids. We managed to get a couple of pictures of them all before it was time for the Ceremony to begin.  Following the Ceremony everybody enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the grounds of Crabbs Barn. A little while later we took a few requested family pictures before the fun Bridal Party pictures and catching up on a few portraits of Elizabeth.Crabbs Barn Evening Wedding Enjoying the nice weather we later took Elizabeth and Ryan all around Crabbs Barn including taking some pictures in the lane and in the Cornfield before the confetti shots.
