Priory Hall Wedding Photography for Sarah & Ian

We arrived at Sarah’s Parents’ home in the morning of Sarah and Ian’s Wedding Day. Hair and Make-up was in the finishing stages so we got on with taking a few pictures and a few pictures of Sarah’s accessories etc.

Once Sarah, her Bridesmaids, Parents and Brother were ready we went outside for some pictures.  The sun was shining and we all wanted to make the most of the weather. We left then to travel to Ipswich School  which was the Venue for the Wedding Ceremony.

We met with Ian and his Groomsmen and took a few pictures of them before too many of the Guests arrived. Just as we had finished their pictures a few spots of rain fell so the Guests quickly made their way into the School. The Bridesmaids arrived and waited for Sarah to arrive which wasn’t long after. Under the shelter of brollies we all made our way inside.1962 3

Sarah and Ian were to be married in the splendid Chapel so when it was time Sarah took her Father’s arm and made her entrance. After the Ceremony Sarah and Ian led their Guests outside, the rain which was predicted to last all afternoon, had stopped! We quickly got on with taking the requested group pictures as we had a lovely backdrop. During this time our fingers were crossed the weather would hold out. Phew! We managed to take the pictures and the confetti pictures as well.  1962 5

It was at this point our luck ran out! Off we all went for the Wedding Reception at Priory Hall, Hadleigh. Sarah and Ian wanted a few pictures outside when we arrived at Priory Hall so we took these straight away with the aid of some brollies but you would hardly know it was pouring! As the Guests arrived they enjoyed the Drinks Reception inside Priory Hall together with Sarah and Ian.

Whilst they were mingling we took some informal pictures as well as some requested other pictures. The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Marquee . After the main course it was time for the Speeches to take place. We managed to take Sarah and Ian outside as there was a break in the weather for some night shots later on. The evening celebrations were held in the main hall  and a little later Sarah and Ian had their First Dance. Soon after we left them to continue the celebrations. Sarah, you smiled all day long despite some challenging moments, thank you..  A lovely day!

It was a lovely day for the Wedding of Clare and Michael at Layer Marney Tower, Colchester.  Clare was getting ready at her home so that is where we started our coverage. On our arrival we were met by Clare, her Mother and the Bridesmaids. Everybody was happy and relaxed with preparations well in hand. After taking a picture of the girls in their Dressing Gowns with the Champagne, it was time for them to get dressed. The Bridesmaids looked wonderful in their Poppy Red Bridesmaid dresses, with Clare looking amazing in her Wedding Dress. After taking a couple of pictures inside as it was dry and warm we all went outside for a few more. Leaving them we made our way to Layer Marney Tower, Layer de la Haye. Michael was there, looking very smart in his uniform, with his Best Man and Ushers. We had time to take some pictures  before the Registrars needed Michael before the Ceremony. The Layer Marney Double Decker Bus arrived with some of the Guests so we took a few pictures as they arrived. The Guests made their way to the Corsellis Room and it wasn’t long before Clare arrived in the Layer Marney vintage Rolls Royce.

Layer Marney Wedding Photographer Clare took her Father’s arm and made her way into the Corsellis Room. After the Ceremony, Clare and Michael went for a ride in the car whilst their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception outside in the grounds of Layer Marney. Clare and Michael returned a little later and arrived at the bottom gate. They walked up the path towards the Tower as their Guests took pictures of them from the top of the steps. Following spending some time with their Guests during the Drinks Reception we got on with the requested family pictures. After a break we then took Clare and Michael for a quick walk around the Layer Marney grounds. This included going to the lake and the barn, ending up with some nice pictures. Wedding Photographer Layer MarneyClare and Michael were showered with confetti on the stairs before then going into the Long Gallery for the Wedding Breakfast. After the meal it was time for the Speeches.  Some great reactions!Recommended Wedding Photographer Layer Marney Afterwards, whilst the Long Gallery was being arranged for the evening celebrations, Guests socialised outside and during this time we took some informal pictures. Clare and her Bridesmaids wanted a couple of pictures on the bus, which we took before it was time to go  back into the Long Gallery for the dancing. Boreham House Wedding Photography – Nicola and Philip’s summer wedding Reception  was held at the stunning Boreham House following their Church Ceremony at  St Mary’s, Great Baddow. We arrived at Nicola and Philip’s  house on a glorious morning. Nicky and her Bridesmaids were having their make up applied and finished outside on the patio in the garden, it was such a warm day. Whilst we got on with taking detail pictures of the dress and accessories upstairs we could keep an eye on what was happening from the bedroom window. The Flowergirls were the first to get dressed they had a few pictures taken in the garden.

Essex Wedding Photographer The Bridesmaids were next to get ready as they were going to help Nicola get ready. Dressed, Nicola looked so elegant! After the pictures in the garden with her Mother, the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls, it was time for us to depart for St Mary’s Church, Great Baddow. Philip was at the Church when we got there and when all the Groomsmen arrived we took a few pictures. Many of the Wedding Guests arrived at the Church on the double decker bus.  This always makes for some nice arrival pictures. Nicola arrived a little later and we took action pictures of them all as they walked unto the Church doorway. the Flowergrirls led the way into the Church. On our return more of the Evening Guests had arrived. With the Band set up the evening celebrations began. After capturing some evening pictures of the celebrations it was time for us to disappear, not leave!  Nicky and Phil as a surprise to their Guests were going to have Fireworks later on in the evening. We made ourselves scarce, appearing later on when the Guests were asked to go around to the front of Boreham House. What a magnificent display of fireworks! Really pleased with our pictures, after the display we said our ‘goodbyes” and left them to continue with the party..Boreham House Wedding Photographer It was lovely to see Bex and Pete again at Nicky and Phil’s Wedding, we photographed their Wedding at Spains Hall a few years ago. Rachel and Paul wanted a Fennes Wedding. It was a beautiful day and when we arrived we went upstairs to the Bridal Room to meet with Rachel. Hair and Make-up was in the final stages, Rachel was chilled! Paul, his Best Man and Ushers were downstairs almost ready for their pictures.  Once they were ready we took a few pictures of them before leaving them to meet the Wedding Guests. As the Guests arrived they had the option of sitting outside in the sunshine or sheltering from the rising temperature! Once Rachel and the girls were ready we took a few pictures of them and a few portraits of Rachel. The Guests were seated for the Outside Ceremony so Rachel, Emma, Rachel and Paul’s daughter, and the Bridesmaids came down the stairs into the Gold Room. After greeting Emma as she came into the room, Rachel’s Father then escorted his daughter out of the room and across the grass to where the Ceremony was going to take place.

It was nice to be back again taking photography at Vaulty Manor for the Wedding of Lyndsay and Terry. On arrival at Vaulty Manor we went to see the girls in the cottage.  Hair and make up was being done and with lots of Bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride to do, it was a  hive of activity! Saying that, there was no stress and all plans were going well. Terry and his Groomsmen were getting ready at Vaulty Manor as well, so it was nice to take a wander to the rooms they were using to  capture a flavour of their preparation shots.  Samuel, Lyndsay and Terry’s son was with his Dad getting dressed. Once they were all ready we took some pictures of them.  Samuel who was a Pageboy then came over to where Lyndsay was.  Samuel, who looked very smart was joined by the Flowergirls who looked lovely.

Vaulty Manor Wedding PhotographerThe girls all looked amazing and that was before they put their dresses on! Brentwood Cathedral and Crondon Park Wedding Reception. It was a dry start to the day for Stephanie and Will’s Wedding. Stephanie and her family were getting ready at The Harvard Inn, Stock, so we made our way there on the morning of the Wedding. Final Bridal preparations were going well so we got on with taking some pictures of the dresses and accessories. Once Stephanie was looking lovely in her Wedding Dress, her Father came into the room to see her, some nice moments. We took a few groups pictures and a couple of Bridal portraits of Stephanie before we left.  Our destination for the Wedding Ceremony was the splendid Brentwood Cathedral. We had our fingers crossed that the weather would hold out for the pictures of Will and his Groomsmen before the Ceremony.  The forecast for the day was not too good! Will was at Brentwood Cathedral with his Groomsmen when we got there, so we got on straight away with a few pictures of them. Wedding Photographer Essex The men then greeted the Wedding Guests whilst we took some arrival pictures of them.  The rain started to fall a few minutes later, phew! It wasn’t long before Stephanie, her Parents, Bridesmaids and Flowergirls arrived, fortunately they didn’t have far to walk from the car to the entrance of the Cathedral. Using the cover we took a few pictures before Stephanie took her Father’s arm, the doors of the Cathedral opened and the Bridesmaids led the way into the Cathedral. We so love Brentwood Cathedral! Such space and a beautiful ambience.Essex WeddingPhotographer After the service, Stephane and Will made their way to the exit and paused just outside the doors for a couple of pictures as it was still raining.  The Guests remained inside as Stephanie and Will turned back to join them. Having the area to take the large family pictures inside we got on with arranging these requested pictures. Wanting just a window of opportunity to go outside we thought was not on the cards but just as we finished the family shots pictures inside the rain stopped! It was so nice as Stephanie and Will’s Guests blew bubbles over them after we did an ‘everybody’ picture. We worked quickly taking the pictures whilst the weather was on our side.  As we left Brentwood Cathedral the rain started again, great timing! Wedding Photography Down Hall for Natasha and Ryan

It was nice to make a welcome return to the stunning Down Hall for Natasha and Ryan’s summer Wedding. Our day started early with our first trip of the day to Down Hall Country House Hotel, which is where Natasha was getting ready. On arrival Natasha was well on the way with her preparations, everything was running smoothly. This was a good thing as Natasha and Ryan’s Church Wedding was back in Witham at mid-day. Natasha’s Wedding Dress and Accessories were laid out ready to be photographed so we got on with doing these. The first of the Bridesmaids got dressed and then lent a helping hand, as did Mum,  in dressing Natasha. With Natasha ready we took a few pictures of her in the room whilst the Bridesmaids finished off their preparations.  We didn’t have to wait for long, which was great. We were then able to go out of the room onto the landing and stairs where there was more space and take a few pictures of all of them.

Wedding Photography Down Hall After a few pictures of Natasha we left to go to St Nicolas Church in Witham. Ryan was there when we arrived with his Best Man and Ushers.  It was at this time a shower of rain made an appearance but thankfully not for long! It had dried up by the time Natasha arrived. With the Guests seated in the Church, Natasha took her Father’s arm  and walked up the path to make her entrance. After the service, we quickly took a couple of pictures outside the Church, before the Guests lined the path for the confetti throwing.Essex Wedding Photographer It was then off to Down Hall for the Reception. We took a couple of pictures outside Down Hall as Natasha and Ryan arrived, Whilst the rest of the Guests were arriving we took them for a short walk around the grounds for their pictures. Wedding Photographer Down Hall Natasha and Ryan then had time to socialise with their Guests before we got on with the family pictures and fun Bridal pictures, which were great.  During this time the Guests were entertained by Natasha’s Uncle Gavin who is also a Magician. It was soon time for the Receiving Line prior to theWedding Breakfast. The Speeches followed before everyone came out of the room so it could be set up for the evening. It was a beautiful evening and the ‘golden hour’ beckoned. Once the room was ready, it was time for the cake cutting followed by Natasha and Ryan’s First Dance. Surprise! During their dance, the music changed, dancers emerged from the people watching and took to the dance floor! The Flashmob dance began! Natasha and Ryan’s Parents joined them as well!  Brilliant! What a performance! Down Hall Wedding Photographer Soon after this it was time for us to leave them to continue the celebrations. Congratulations to Natasha and Ryan on a lovely day! Well done to Natasha, your timings were impeccable! It was nice to work with Mark Greatbach again and for the first time Philip White Visuals.
