Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Hayley & Jason

It was nice to be back for more Prested Hall Wedding Photography. This time for the Wedding of Hayley and Jason. Hayley, her Parents and Bridesmaids were getting ready in the Prested Apartments, situated in the Spa complex. We started our coverage from there as the girls were having their hair and make-up finished.

Hayley’s Dress and accessories were over in the main house so we made sure pictures of these were taken. Preparations were going well and it wasn’t long before the girls were ready to transfer to Prested Hall itself. Hayley’s timings were good and allowed us time to get the required photographs with her Bridesmaids and parents.

Carriage Ride to Church

The Horse and Carriage was ready for Hayley as we finished the pictures to take her with her Father to All Saints Church, Feering. David and I left to get to the Church before them and take a few pictures of Jason and his Groomsmen, who were very relaxed and enjoying the moments. We managed to complete taking Jason’s pictures before too many of the Guests arrived, then left Jason, his Best Man and Ushers to continue greeting them.

It was a beautiful day, ideal for arriving at Church in a Horse and Carriage. After taking a couple of pictures, Hayley and her Father walked towards to the Church. The Bridesmaids were first to enter the Church, then Hayley and her Father followed. Wow! The atmosphere, emotions, reactions were fantastic and these continued all the way through the service. Some wonderful moments captured! After the Church service, everybody came outside and after a few minutes we got on with the requested family pictures. It was nice for Jason to have a large contingent of his family over from Australia, where he originates from. With the group pictures completed the Guests threw confetti over Hayley and Jason.

Hayley and Jason then enjoyed the ride to Prested Hall for the Reception. The Drinks Reception awaited them and their Guests on their arrival and there was time for everyone to socialise. During the rest of the afternoon we took some fun Bridal Party pictures and a few of Hayley and Jason by themselves.

The Wedding Breakfast

The Marquee looked wonderful for the Wedding Breakfast and when the time was right the Guests everyone took their seats. The Speeches followed the meal before all the guests went outside to enjoy the evening sunshine.

The Evening

Hayley and Jason were pleased we asked them to create a few more pictures in the evening light. Moving around Prested Hall we ended up with a variety of nice relaxed and fun evening pictures. The Evening Guests were arriving when we returned so we left Hayley and Jason greeting them.

Later after cutting their Wedding Cake, they took to the dance floor for their First Dance. During the evening we captured a few informal pictures whilst waiting for the sunset. We whisked Hayley and Jason away for a little while by car for the sunset. Not to be missed! It was spectacular! This ended our coverage of Hayley and Jason’s wonderful Wedding. A lovely couple! Wedding Photographer Channels for Nicola & Nick

Our next assignment was Wedding Photographer Channels for Nicola and Nick. We began our coverage of their Wedding joining Nicola at Channels where she was getting ready. The preparations went well considering the number of bodies in a fairly small space on a very hot day!

Nick and his Groomsmen were waiting until the last moment when they had to put on their jackets for their pictures! After taking some pictures of Nick, his Groomsmen and Parents the Bridesmaids got changed whilst Nicola was having the final touches applied to her hair and make-up. They then helped Nicola get into her Wedding Dress.

The Wedding Ceremony

After a few pictures it was time for the Ceremony. Nicola and her attendants made their way outside where Nick and the guests were waiting

After the Ceremony and with their glasses of bubbly Nicola and Nick led their Guests to the area in the grounds for the Drinks Reception.

Unplanned, a Receiving Line occurred! Actually, this turned out ok as the Guests were served with Reception Drinks and could escape into the shade! Whilst this was going on we took some informal pictures. A short time later we got on with the requested family pictures. Later on the afternoon we took the Nicola, Nick and the Bridal Party for a few pictures around the front of Channels. Once these were completed the Bridal Party returned to the Drinks Reception whilst we took Nicola and Nick’s pictures. The trees provided the shade which was very welcome!

The Confetti and Wedding Breakfast

Nicola and Nick were showered in confetti just before the wedding Breakfast.

The Speeches followed the meal. Not to be missed was taking some pictures in the evening light so we then took Nicola and Nick to the lake for a walk around for a few minutes. As their Evening Guests had arrived it was time for the cake cutting which was then followed by the dancing. First of all Nicola and Nick had the chair dance the Hora, around the dance floor before they then had their First Dance. We captured a few pictures of the evening before it was time for the sunset. What a sunset it was! It was nice to work with A most rewarding day of Channels Wedding Photography. It was nice to see and work with Michelle of Bumblebee Bridal again and will see her again very soon.

Hayley and Jason were married at Feering Church with a Reception at Prested Hall in June this year. They worked promptly on their picture selection and have a beautiful finished Storybook album by mid-August.

Wedding Photographer Layer Marney Tower for Stacey & Sam

It was an early start for Stacey and Sam’s Wedding at Layer Marney Tower. Our first port of call was at Stacey’s Parents’ house where Stacey was getting ready. Stacey’s Bridesmaids were getting ready as well and all preparations were going well. We got on with taking pictures of Stacey’s accessories and details. Once the Bridesmaids and Orla the Flowergirl were ready we went into the garden as it was such a nice day to take some pictures. Stacey was soon ready as well and we were able to finish all the pictures.

Off to the wedding

We then headed off to Layer Marney Tower where the Wedding Ceremony was being held. Layer Marney Tower is a glorious setting for a Wedding and looked wonderful in the brilliant sunshine. Meeting with Sam we took a few pictures of him with his Best Man before they greeted the Guests. Some Guests arrived on the Layer Marney bus we captured their arrival. Sam went into the Corsellis Room which was where the Ceremony was taking place after having a brief chat with the Registrars. Meanwhile Stacey had arrived driven by Graham in the Layer Marney Tower. They then made their way into the building for the Ceremony stopping for a couple of quick pictures on the way. After the Ceremony Stacey and Sam went for a short ride whilst the Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the grounds. When Stacey and Sam returned they were dropped at the bottom gate and walked up the path to the Tower watched by their Guests.

After the requested family group pictures Stacey and Sam enjoyed having social time to spend with their Guests. Later when we took Stacey and Sam for a few pictures around Layer Marney. The brilliant caricaturist Steve Hearn and the String Quartet entertained the Guests. Just before the Wedding Breakfast Breakfast in the Long Gallery, it was confetti time. Some nice pictures.

After The meal

After the meal it was time for the Speeches. With it being such a nice evening people made the most to by going outside. During the evening we took a few informal pictures and escaped for a few minutes to take Stacey and Sam around the front of Layer Marney. The bus was there so they had a few fun pictures with that as well before it was time for their cake cutting. Stacey and Sam’s First Dance followed.

We ended our coverage of Stacey and Sam’s Wedding Day with some fabulous sunset and Tower shots. Thank you Stacey and Sam for asking us to take your photographs of your Wedding. It was a lovely day spent with lovely people.

Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photography for Amy and Tom

Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photography for Amy and Tom was on a lovely late spring day! We arrived at Amy’s Parents home first of all which was where Amy was getting ready with her Bridesmaids. The sun was shining and the forecast was it would be getting hotter as the day went on. Amy was in the final stages of her hair and make-up being finished so we got on with taking the pictures of Amy’s Wedding Dress and accessories. Ellie and Katie, the smaller Bridesmaids arrived a little later on. Once hair and make up ‘getting ready’ pictures were completed the girls watched as Amy opened her present from Tom. Time for the girls to get dressed and then Amy’s Mother, Lindsey, and Amy’s sister Robyn assisted Amy to get dressed. Amy looked wonderful! The garden looked fabulous and when Amy was ready we all went outside. Although it was only late morning it was now very hot and sunny everywhere but we took some pictures outside. Finishing these we left to go to St Bartholomew’s Church, Wickham Bishops. Tom was there with his Grooomsmen together with Norah, their Flowergirl and Daniel, their Pageboy. There was lots to do at the Church as always but everything was running smoothly. The Guests made their way into the Church for the service and it wasn’t long after that Amy arrived. During the service Daniel stepped up at the right time to hand over the Wedding Rings, a nice moment. After the service Amy and Tom came out of the Church, had a brief few minutes with their Guests before we got on with taking a few pictures. These were kept to a minimum as space was limited, there were many Guests and there would be time to take some more at the Wedding Reception at Smeetham Hall Barn. So, as the Guests threw confetti over Amy and Tom as they left the Church, Ian of Nixons Cars was waiting to take them on their journey. Smeetham Hall Barn looked absolutely wonderful as we arrived, basked in sunshine! The car dropped off Amy and Tom at the House right where the Drinks Reception was being held. After a couple of car pictures Amy and Tom mingled with their Guests whilst we captured informal pictures. Amy and Tom’s requested family pictures were taken in the shade of the trees which was appreciated by all concerned! Thank you Robyn for all your help! After Amy and Tom’s ‘together’pictures and before the Wedding Breakfast we took an ‘everybody’ picture. Coverage of The Speeches followed the Wedding Breakfast. A superb Speech was delivered by Matt,Tom’s Brother and Best Man which produced many many laughs!Whilst the guests were enjoying the evening sunshine, we whisked Amy and Tom away for a short while to get a few more pictures. Once the Evening Guests had arrived Tom and Amy took to the dance floor for their First Dance. Amy, Tom and ourselves were delighted later on with the sunset pictures to finish off. Happy with our results of a splendid day we then said our ‘goodbyes”. Thank you to Sue Whittle who was a Guest at this Wedding who recommended us to Amy and Tom. Sue ran a Photography business in Witham a few years ago and it was lovely to see her again. Thank you to Amy and Tom for all your hard work in making your Wedding Day go really well, it was such an memorable day!

Fennes Wedding Photography for Maxine & Ben

Maxine and Ben booked us for their Fennes Wedding Photography. Arriving at Fennes it was overcast but the forecast was that the weather was going to break. Maxine and Ben really wanted an outside Ceremony so the decision was made to go ahead and fingers were crossed. It wasn’t long before the sun was out which enhanced the setting for their Wedding. Maxine was getting ready upstairs with her Mother and the Bridesmaids. In another room Ben was getting ready. Preparations were going well were going well for both of them and once the men were ready they headed off downstairs and outside.

Ben and his Groomsmen had a few pictures outside and inside Fennes House then they carried out their duties of greeting the Guests. Maxine was soon ready for her ‘ready’ pictures together with the Bridesmaids. The Drinks Reception followed the outdoor Ceremony and everyone enjoyed socialising in the sunshine and being entertained by a magician.We got on with taking the requested family pictures and a few Bridal Party pictures later on. Leaving the Guests we whisked away Maxine and Ben for a short session of pictures on the Bridge and through the Bluebells. Everyone congregated in the Gold Room just before the Wedding Breakfast for the confetti throwing. The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Pavilion and the Speeches followed. A bouncy castle provided entertainment afterwards for the Bride and Groom as well as their Guests! The break between the speeches and evening celebrations allowed us to create Maxine and Ben’s special pictures which they requested involving the bridal party as well. These pictures were fun to do as well with everyone being extra relaxed! Finishing off with Maxine and Ben’s evening pictures inside Fennes we then returned to the Pavilion. Maxine and Ben cut their Wedding Cake and then took to the dance floor for their First Dance. After good weather during the day a sunset was not to be, so instead we took a couple of night pictures. This finished our coverage their Maxine and Ben’s Wedding Day. Thank you Maxine and Ben for an enjoyable and rewarding day also to the staff who make Fennes Wedding Photography a pleasure.

Cressing Temple Barns Wedding Photography for Janine & Richard

Janine and Richard booked us for Cressing Temple Barns wedding photography. It was a dry bright although windy day when we arrived at Cressing Temple. We met Richard with his Parents and made our way over to the house where the Ceremony was going to take place. After taking a few pictures of Richard and then a couple of him with his Parents it was soon time for him to see the Registrars.

Janine, driven to Cressing Temple by her Father, arrived a short time later. Janine and Richard’s daughter Grace had had a sleep in the car and was a bit surprised at what was happening when she woke up! We captured the moments and with the minimum fuss were able to take a few pictures of Janine, her Mother and Father and Grace. After seeing the Registrars, Janine took her Father’s arm and went into the room for the Ceremony. The walled garden provided a beautiful backdrop to some pictures afterwards. A few requested pictures were taken followed by a few of Janine and a few of Janine and Richard together. In between these pictures we captured some informal pictures of their Wedding. It was soon time for Janine and Richard to be on their way to the Wedding Reception so it was time for us to say our ‘goodbyes’. Janine and Richard wanted to have a small relaxed Wedding celebration and that is just what it turned out to be. It was a pleasure to work with this lovely family for Cressing Temple Barns Wedding Photography.

Skinners Hall London Wedding Photography for Kristina & Stefan

David and I were so looking forward to Kristina and Stefan’s Wedding at the wonderful Skinners Hall, London. We had visited the wonderful Skinners’ Hall a few months previous but as always on the day of the Wedding it was nice to be there well ahead of the expected.

It was a warm but overcast day and we had our fingers crossed it would remain, the outside being an important part of the plans as well as the inside. Arriving at Skinners’ Hall we were warmly welcomed by the staff and then were left to go about our job. Going into the Library upstairs we met with Stefan who was enjoying the calmness of the day! After a few words with him we then went off to find Kristina. Kristina was with her Mother having her hair and make up done downstairs in one of the rooms. After capturing a few pictures we left them to it for a little while whilst we went off to see how other things were progressing. Stefan’s Parents had arrived so he had left the Library to greet them and sort out a few arrangements. This worked really well as we could then take pictures of Kristina’s Wedding Dress and Accessories as well as Stefan’s attire which were in the Library. Moving between the two rooms worked well for us and it wasn’t long before Kristina’s preparations were complete and she went to get dressed. Stefan was finishing his preparations elsewhere, then had some pictures taken. Once Kristina was ready and just before other members of Kristina’s family joined her we took a few pictures. The wonderful setting of the Library worked well for all these pictures. Guests were arriving and socialising outside in the lovely Courtyard before a little later taking their seats in the Outer Hall. Kristina and Stefan wanted to have an informal relaxed Wedding and chose to see each other before the Wedding and walked down the stairs and into the Outer Hall together for the Ceremony. Afterwards the Drinks Reception was held outside. The Roof Garden provided a beautiful area for socialising as well as for some requested family pictures and of course plenty of informal pictures. We took Kristina and Stefan for a few minutes around the property for a few pictures of them together. We were spoilt for choice with so many areas around the property but also careful not to take too much time. Getting them back to their Guests with minimal time away was important to the couple. The magnificent Banqueting Hall was where the Wedding Breakfast was going to take place. When it was time the guests made their way into the Hall. Before the meal Stefan made a Speech which was warmly received. After the meal took Kristina and Stefan outside for a few evening pictures. The Courtyard was perfect for these.Returning, Kristina and Stefan cut their Wedding Cake and then took to the dance floor for their First Dance. Just before we finished our coverage we took a couple of night pictures. What a fantastic day! Kristina and Stefan, you are a nice couple, you had such a memorable day, thank you for letting us be a part of it. It was so lovely to see Laura and Jonathan(Stefan’s Brother) again, who were married at Braxted Park, Essex, in 2013 and used us as their Wedding Photographers. It was nice to meet Laura & Jonathan’s daughter Alisa who was a wonderful Flowergirl! Thank you for the recommendation. Finally, a massive ‘thank you’ to everyone at Skinners’ Hall, especially Indre, who is the Co-ordinator, it was nice to meet you again and a pleasure to work with you. It was a nice spring day when we arrived at The Fennes Estate for the Wedding of Emma and Ben. Emma was getting ready in the house with her Bridesmaids. Ben and his Groomsmen arrived a little later and carried out their final preparations. Once Ben and his Groomsmen were ready they had some pictures taken at the front of Fennes House. Meanwhile Emma enjoyed sipping her Champagne and it was then time for her Mum to assist her to get dressed. Ben was greeting the Guests and went with them as they made their way to the Pavilion for the ceremony. We took a few Bridal portraits of Emma together with a few other pictures before it was time for Emma to go and see the Registrars. The String Quartet played as Emma took her Father’s arm and entered the Pavilion for the Ceremony. After the Ceremony the Guests followed Emma and Ben to the front of the house for the Drinks Reception. Everyone enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the sunshine whilst we took some informal pictures. During the afternoon we arranged the requested family group pictures. Taking Emma and Ben for a walk around the grounds later was very nice, especially through the bluebells. Before the WeddingBreakfast the Wedding Guests threw confetti over Emma and Ben in the Gold Room. After the Wedding Breakfast it was time for the Speeches. For early evening entertainment Emma and Ben had arranged the fabulous Caricaturist Steve Hearn to provide caricatures. After Emma and Ben had their caricature we managed to steal them away for a few evening pictures. When we returned a few minutes later their evening Guests were arriving. After Emma and Ben had cut their Wedding Cake they took to the dance floor for their First Dance. To finish our coverage of Emma and Ben’s lovely Wedding, the sun was setting and off we went to capture it. Fantastic!

Fennes Wedding Photographs for Alison & Mark

It was great to be back to the wonderful Wedding Venue Fennes for the Spring Wedding of Alison and Mark. Arriving at Fennes we went unto the Bridal Changing Room where Alison and the Girls were getting ready. Preparations were going smoothly so we got on with taking pictures of Alison’s details and accessories in the Fennes Suite. Returning to the girls we captured a few getting ready pictures in between watching for Mark to arrive. Unbeknown to Mark he was being picked up at his Hotel by www.delboyvan.co.uk as a surprise Wedding present from Alison! We definitely wanted to be around when he arrived at Fennes as did Alison! Making sure Alison was unseen in the Fennes Suite when the moment arrived worked well. Alison carried on with her preparations afterwards. Mark got out of the van grinning from ear to ear, he was clearly delighted by the surprise. The Bridesmaids and Alison continued getting ready whilst Mark had some pictures taken with the van as well as with members of his family. As the Guests arrived they mingled in the Gold Room. Alison looked lovely in her Wedding Dress, and the Bridesmaids looked nice in their Bridesmaids’ dresses, and when everybody was ready we took some pictures. Afterwards Alison went downstairs and had a quiet moment with her Father in the Library before seeing the Registrars. The Wedding Ceremony was in the Pavilion and afterwards everyone made their way upto the front of Fennes for the Drinks Reception. Alison and Mark had a little time for socialising whilst we took a few requested pictures of Guests with the del boy van and then got on with the requested family group pictures. All these pictures went fine. A little later on we took Alison and Mark for a short walk around Fennes for their pictures before ending up in the Gold Room for the confetti. Such nice pictures! The Wedding Breakfast was in the Pavilion and the Speeches followed. Before the start of the evening celebrations we took Alison and Mark for a few evening pictures around Fennes including the ‘heart’ picture. The cutting of the Wedding Cake followed a little later and then their First Dance. Alison and the girls did a special dance afterwards to the Guests as well. After photographing this and happy with our coverage we said our ‘goodbyes’. Alison and Mark, you are such a lovely couple, and it was a pleasure making Fennes Wedding Photographs with you, we captured some great pictures, thank you.
