A beautiful summer’s day greeted us as we arrived at Maria’s Parents’ house for a few photographs of the final preparations of Maria, and her Bridesmaids. Maria and Kev chose the lovely Layer Marney Tower, for their special day and as we arrived at Layer Marney, we took Kev and his Groomsmen for a few photographs before the arrival of Maria. The Civil Wedding Ceremony was held in the Corsellis Room and afterwards whilst the Guests enjoyed the sunshine around the grounds of Layer Marney, Maria and Kev went for a short ride in the Layer Marney Rolls Royce. A few family group pictures were taken in front of the Tower as well as capturing informal pictures. After the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, as the light was good and it was not quite as hot, we took Maria and Kev for a short walk around the grounds of Layer Marney for their photographs, followed by fun, relaxed pictures of Maria, Kev, the Bridesmaids, Flower Girls,Best Men and Ushers. First Dance ended our coverage of their Wedding. Once again thank you to Bouquet Garni for the excellent food!

Wedding Photography for Kerry & Marc at Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel, Spa & Golf Club
It was already a lovely warm day when we arrived at Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel, Leavenheath, for the Wedding of Kerry & Marc. Kerry and her Bridesmaids were getting ready in the Hotel so our first pictures were of the bridal preparations. Once Marc arrived at the Hotel with his Best Man and Ushers, their photographs were taken around the grounds of Stoke-by-Nayland. The Civil Ceremony was held in the Devora Suite and afterwards Kerry, Marc and their Guests made their way out to the Balcony. Whilst the Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception we took Kerry and Marc for a short time down to the Lake for their Bride and Groom portraits. On our return Kerry and Marc had some time to mingle with their Guests whilst we took some informal pictures. A few family group pictures followed before the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches. After it being such a sunny day a couple of beautiful sunset pictures ended our day and made a lovely ending to their pictures.

Wedding Photography – Rachel & Ben at Layer Marney Tower
Rachel & Ben’s choice of Venue for their Wedding was Layer Marney Tower, Essex. Rachel and her Bridesmaids were getting ready at her Parents’ house which is where our day started. Preparations were well underway when we arrived. As it was raining outside we took some nice pictures inside, before leaving for Layer Marney. Ben, being in the Paras, naturally looked very smart, was greeting Guests when we arrived so in between times we managed to take a few pictures of him before the Ceremony. As it was still raining after the Ceremony we took the family groups outside the Corsellis Room before Rachel and Ben went for a ride in the Layer Marney car and the Guests went for the Drinks Reception. When Rachel and Ben returned we took them into the tower for a short while for a few portraits. A break in the weather prior to the Wedding Breakfast allowed everyone to get outside for a few shots. We took some fun, informal photos outside in the early evening before the First Dance.

Wedding Photography for Helen & Stephen – Hedingham Castle
Helen and Stephen chose the wonderful medieval castle at Castle Hedingham, Essex, for their Wedding. It was a glorious day and with lots of Bridesmaids, Ushers, Flower Girls, Pageboys, Guests, with lots going on, the weather was an added advantage. Helen was getting ready in the Georgian House with all her attendants, which made for a fun and lively atmosphere, which made plenty of relaxed photographs. Mark and his attendants arrived and we took them into the Moat in front of the Bridge for their pictures before they made their way to the Norman Keep where the Civil Ceremony was held. After the Ceremony, the Toastmaster, David Mills, helped us arrange the family groups so the Guests were not kept waiting too long for the Drinks Reception. Just before the Wedding Breakfast we took Helen and Stephen for a few relaxed pictures by the Lake. Following the Speeches and First Dance we took some pictures of evening Guests and finished with a couple of pictures of Helen and Stephen by the Keep.

Pre-Wedding Pictures
We had a really nice pre-wedding session with Clare and Paul recently. They are getting married shortly at Parklands, Quendon Hall. After meeting at their house and discussing final details of their Wedding, we travelled a short distance to where Clare’s horse, Jasper, is stabled. Clare and Paul wanted some pictures of them with Jasper. It was such a lovely day, so as well as taking pictures of the three of them, we took the opportunity to take a few pictures of Clare and Paul around the farm as well, resulting in some lovely pictures!

Children Portraits
It was great to see Charlotte and Andy again and catch up on news of friends and family connected to them, whilst photographing their daughter Lily. Lily performed excellently for her first portrait session and whilst we were there we took some pictures of her three cousins. An enjoyable and satisfying morning, thank you to all of them!

Wedding Photography for Sue & Mark at Prested Hall, Feering
Sue and Mark’s oudoor Wedding Ceremony was changed at the very last minute due to a most inconvenient rain shower, after which the day was warm and dry. The grounds at Prested Hall made a lovely backdrop for Sue and Mark’s Wedding pictures of themselves and their families. Mark’s speech at the Wedding Breakfast was impressive as he managed to introduce everyone in the room which allowed us to capture some lovely moments. After the First Dance we took a couple of pictures of Sue and Mark beside the moat to finish our day. Video was by Martin Kershaw

Wedding Photography for Helene & Mark at Leez Priory
As we arrived at Leez Priory for Helene and Mark’s Wedding Day, Helene’s hair and make up was underway in the cottage before the girls moved to the main House, for the finishing touches. Meanwhile Mark made his final preparations in the Granary. The Wedding Ceremony was held under the Tower in the warm afternoon sunshine. Whilst the Guests were enjoying the Drinks Reception, we took a few pictures of Helene and Mark with their Wedding Car before their family group pictures. After the Wedding Breakfast in the Coach House we took some Bride and Groom portraits around the beautiful grounds including the Lake. Later, Helene and Mark decided to perform their First Dance outside to enable their wheelchair-bound Guest to watch, and just as we were leaving the sunset got even better and we ended with a great picture!
