Priory Hall Wedding Photography for Victoria and Sam

It was lovely to be back for a Priory Hall Wedding Photography at this wonderful Wedding Venue in Hadleigh, Suffolk. This was for the Wedding of Victoria and Sam. Our day started at the home of Victoria’s Parents, where Victoria and her Bridesmaids were getting ready.  Arriving at the house all was relaxed although busy with all the preparations. After taking a few details and getting ready shots,  the Bridesmaids got dressed followed by Victoria who was  assisted by her sister and Mum. Rain was in the air so we didn’t venture outside so instead made use of the Conservatory and took some Bridal Portraits of Victoria, who looked amazing, in the Lounge.

Priory Hall Wedding PhotographySt Mary’s Church, Woolpit, was where Victoria and Sam were to be married so when it was time we left for the short journey to the Church. Meeting up with Sam at the Church we took a couple of pictures of him and his Groomsmen in Church as it was now drizzling.  The brollies made the first appearance of the day when the Bridesmaids arrived with the Ushers doing a wonderful job in keeping them dry! As Victoria arrived, the drizzle had stopped, so taking her Father’s arm she followed the path and into the Church. During the service we kept a eye on the weather outside, although we had Plan B lined up if the weather did it’s worst! After the service instead of going outside when they came down the aisle, Victoria and Sam stayed in the Church, ready for Plan B! Having earmarked our spot for the family groups we got on with the requested pictures. Afterwards Victoria, Sam and their Guests made a quick dash to the cars for the journey to  Priory Hall. The skies were brightening as we drew nearer to Priory Hall but the rain was still falling, so Victoria and Sam had their Reception drinks and canapés inside. As the Guests were socialising we took a couple of pictures upstairs and as Victoria and Sam re-joined their Guests the rain stopped. Making sure Victoria and Sam had their share of the drinks and canapés and socialised we got on with some fun group pictures followed by the confetti.  Priory Hall Wedding PhotographerThis worked really well and a little while later it was time for the Wedding Breakfast, which was held in the Marquee. Victoria and Sam wanted  a couple of pictures in the maze and  it worked well  to take these in between their Starter and Main Meal. The Speeches provided some great reactions, caught of course! Once these were finished everybody made their way back into Priory Hall for the evening celebrations.Recommended Wedding Photographer Priory Hall A few evening pictures were taken later together with capturing images of the First Dance. A couple of night shots ended our coverage of Victoria and Sam’s Wedding Day. A wonderful day and a lovely couple!

Marquee Wedding Photography for Alice & Peter

We arrived at Alice’s family home on a bright morning with fingers crossed it would continue! After David saying ‘hello’ to everybody he left to go a short distance to Alice and Peter’s home to catch up with the guys and their final preparations. Meanwhile, I stayed with the girls where their preparations were going along nicely. Alice was having her hair and make-up done every step watched  by her Flowergirl, Eliza. Once the men were ready they went off to the Church whilst David returned to Alice and the girls.  The girls were in the final stages of getting dressed and once they were ready we got on with a few pictures.  It was dry and bright outside so we took a few pictures but kept it brief as the wind was getting to be a nuisance.

Essex Wedding Photographer We then left to go to St Nicholas Church, Tolleshunt D’arcy  where Alice and Peter were to be married.  We had a little time to take a few pictures of Peter, his Best Man, Usher before the arrival of Alice.  Alice’s friend drove her to the Church in her Morris MG and then Alice’s two brothers escorted into the Church. Essex Church Wedding PhotographerAfter the service, Alice and Peter exited the Church, followed by their Guests and mingled in the sunshine for a short while. A few requested family pictures were taken at the Church before the Guests showered Alice and Peter in confetti.   The Guests waved them off in the Morris MG as they left to go to the farm for the Reception. When we arrived at the farm we took Alice and Peter for a very short while for their together pictures in the daffodils before many of the Guests arrived. Marquee Wedding Photography EssexOnce the Guests had finished arriving and had a few minutes for drinks we got on with some requested group pictures.  A big ‘thank you’ to Dave the Best Man for helping us organising these so quickly. With the weather looking like it was changing,  we wanted to capture as much as we could of Alice and Peter’s venue and knew we  were up against it! Alice and Peter were of the same mind.  We even managed to take a few more pictures of the two of them despite the spots of rain starting.  Then the rain came! We moved around the Marquee and captured some informal pictures before the Wedding Breakfast.  This was provided by the Event Catering Company from Colchester. After the meal and Speeches, it wasn’t long before the Band were ready for the dancing.  Alice and Peter cut their Wedding Cake and then a ‘surprise’! Alice’s Brothers rode into the Marquee on a Tandem which was a Wedding Present for Alice and Peter. Wedding Photographer EssexJust before leaving Alice and Peter braved the weather for a couple of night pictures with the lights outside. Thank you! A nice ending to a lovely day!

We met with Victoria and Sam for their engagement session one afternoon at the start of this year.  Our meeting point was at the church where Victoria and Sam are to be married soon. Finding our bearings before the Wedding Day helps us and Victoria and Sam were happy to oblige.  After a few pictures there we went to Victoria’s Parents’ house for a cup of tea and and a chat about the Wedding.  We are looking forward to their Wedding with the Wedding Reception being held at the wonderful Priory Hall, Hadleigh.

Hannah and Chris chose the wonderful Wedding Venue Fennes for their Wedding in November last year. Making our way to The Fennes Estate the fog was beginning to lift and we had our fingers crossed it would continue! Hannah, her Bridesmaids and Parents were getting ready at Fennes and when we arrived all preparations were running smoothly.  There was a lovely relaxed feel to the day and when everyone was ready we went into the Gold Room.  After a few pictures we left to go to St Mary’s Church, Bocking for the church service. wedding photography fennes We met with Chris, his Best Man and Ushers and found a little time to take some pictures of them before they resumed their duties. It wasn’t long before Hannah arrived and escorted by her Father and Bridesmaids, she made her way up the path to the church. Perfect time for the sun to come out.  After the church service everybody made their way outside for a few requested pictures.  We only took a few pictures outside the door as the sun was now proving to be a menace! The Essex Barn at The White Hart, Great Yeldham – It was a lovely day for the Wedding of Sarah and Rob in October last year. Arriving at Sarah’s Parents’ house on the morning of the Wedding, Sarah’s Father greeted us as Sarah was at the Hairdressers. It wasn’t long before Sarah appeared with her Bridesmaids and her Mum.  Whilst taking pictures of  the details and accessories, the Champagne was opened and sipped for a few minutes before the girls finished their final preparations. Once everybody was ready we took a few pictures before leaving to go to St Peter’s Church, Coggeshall. We met with Rob and his Groomsmen at the gate and took a few pictures there before walking up the path to the Church.  This beautiful Church provides a wonderful backdrop and we made use of it for their pictures outside in the sunshine. Although there was not a sunset later, we took a few evening pictures of Sarah and Rob outside. Wedding Photos Fennes for Nikki & Rob

We were very pleased to be asked to photograph Nikki and Rob’s Wedding Day at Fennes. Nikki works in the Accounts Office at The Fennes Estate.

Our day started at Fennes, arriving whilst the girls preparations were underway and the excitement was increasing.

Fennes Wedding Photographer Nikki and Rob chose to be married at St Mary’s Church, Bocking, so we had to be very aware of the time so we would not miss the Guys’ arrival shots at church. With pictures of the details and accessories in the bag, and everybody was ready, we got on with taking the posed pictures. After Nikki’s Dad saw her for the first time in her Wedding dress and escorted her downstairs, we went into the Gold Room. One of the nice things with Nikki and Rob choosing a Church wedding, was that the downstairs of Fennes was available for Nikki’s pictures before she went. Once we had taken the pictures we left to go to the Church.  The pathway up to the St Mary’s allows for some nice Guest arrival pictures whilst Rob, his Best Man and Ushers were having a few pictures taken, before he disappeared into the Church.

Recommended Fennes Wedding Photographer Nikki arrived, took her Father’s arm and walked up the path to the Church. After the Church service we organised the few requested family pictures.  The Guests then lined the path at the gate for Nikki and Rob to walk through, throwing confetti as they did so.  Nikki, Rob and ourselves were first back to Fennes so after a couple of pictures with the car driven by Adrian of Vintage Dreams, we walked over to the Bridge, a must for Weddings at Fennes! With Lottie, front of house co-ordinator and the staff at Fennes as always taking good care of the Guests as they arrived, we carried on with a short tour of the grounds for Nikki and Rob’s pictures. Wedding Photos Fennes They then joined the Drinks Reception and talked to their Guests. Bridal fun pictures happened later, shortly before the Wedding Breakfast. A singer entertained everybody during the Wedding Breakfast before the Speeches. Whilst waiting for the Evening Reception to start Guests enjoyed walking around in the grounds of Fennes.  A short time later the evening Guests started to arrive for the Reception in the Marquee.  The Pavilion looked wonderful as Nikki and Rob greeted all their Guests as they made their way in.  After the cutting of the Wedding Cake they took to the dance floor for their First Dance together as man and wife. Recommended Essex Wedding Photographer Fennes Making sure we were happy with our images of capturing Nikki and Rob’s special Day, catching up with people we knew, we said our ‘goodbyes’. Congratulations Nikki and Rob on a lovely day!

Fennes Wedding Photos for Jaimey & Mehmet

The sun was shining for Jaimey and Mehmet’s Wedding day at Fennes.  We arrived at Fennes just before Mehmet arrived with his Groomsmen.  They made their way into the Library to finish getting ready.  Jaimey was upstairs having her hair done and the room was a hive of activity! Working around their preparations I got on with photographing the details and accessories, whilst David was downstairs with the men capturing their preparations.  David couldn’t leave the men as a surprise was in store for Mehmet!  Unbeknown to Mehmet, Jaimey had arranged for a Ferrari to arrive at Fennes and take him to St Mary’s Church, Bocking for the Church service. It wasn’t long before the Ferrari arrived and Memhmet’s Best Man persuaded Mehmet to go to the front of the house .  How surprised Mehmet was!  Grinning from ear to ear, Mehmet just stared at the Ferrarri before climbing in to have some pictures taken. Recommended Wedding Photographer Fennes Jaimey was delighted her surprise had worked and enjoyed the feedback from the Bridesmaids and a few Guests who had watched the drama unfolding.  Mehmet  was then chauffeured to St Mary’s Church.  Time was racing by and with so many people getting ready we decided that I would go to the Church whilst David stayed behind capturing what was happening.  After meeting the men at the Church and capturing some pictures of the Guests as well as Mehmet, it wasn’t long before Jaimey arrived.  We captured the moments as they happened as they all made their way into the Church. Fennes Weddng Photography After the Church service we took a few family pictures outside the Church before the Guests made their way down to the gate for the confetti pictures. Before leaving the Church we took a couple pictures of Jaimey and Mehmet with the car before they left for the Reception.  As we were back at Fennes with Jaimey and Mehmet well before their Guests, we went to take some pictures on the bridge and around the grounds. Returning to the House we caught up on a few bridal shots of Jaimey that we didn’t get earlier in the Gold Room.Wedding Photographer Fennes Recommended As the Guests arrived they enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the gardens. The Wedding  Breakfast was held in the Pavilion and was followed by the Speeches. With the main Speeches delivered  a few of Jaimey and Mehmet’s relatives and friends said a few words.  It was a beautiful evening and afterwards Guests went outside and socialised.  Using the superb grounds we took some relaxed bridal party pictures before it was time for the First Dance.  Finishing Jaimey and Mehmet’s coverage of their special day a nice sunset picture. Wedding Photography Cambridge – Laura & Mark

Laura and Mark’s Wedding in Cambridge was on a beautiful day. It was a bright and early start for our journey to Laura’s Parents’ home where the Bridal preparations were taking place.  On arrival, whilst Laura, her Parents, Sisters and her Niece and Nephew were getting ready, we busied ourselves with taking pictures of the Laura’s Wedding Dress and Accessories. In between we captured the informal moments and atmosphere of the morning.  Once her hair and make-up was finished, Laura put on her Wedding Dress, the time was going very quickly! What a picture! Laura looked stunning! Everybody else looked lovely too! After a few pictures we left them to travel to St John the Evangelist Church, Cambridge for the Church service.

Wedding Photography Cambridge David Islip Mark was there with his Best Man, Usher and his Parents, so we took a few pictures before they disappeared into the beautiful Church.  Laura arrived and after being joined by her Mum and the Bridesmaids we took a few pictures of them before it was time for the service.  Imogen, Laura’s niece and the Flowergirl played her part very well, sprinkling the rose petals down the aisle as Laura took her Mum’s arm and walked down the aisle.  Extra special moments for Laura marrying in this Church, this was the church where her Grandma was married. Essex Wedding Photographer Cambridge WeddingSome lovely images were taken during the service and afterwards the Guests followed Laura and Mark outside for a few family pictures.  The sun was shining, it was extremely warm but luckily we were able to find some shade.  Deciding to make the most of our area outside the Church we got on with the requested family groups followed by a couple of Bridal party pictures.  Confetti was thrown by their Guests as they left the Church for the Reception.  DoubleTree Hilton Hotel was the chosen Wedding Venue for Laura and Mark.  We arrived moments after Laura and Mark arrived at the Hotel, they were just waiting for their chauffeured ride on a punt down the river.  With their glasses of champagne they set off.  River Cam Cambridge Wedding PhotographerAs their Guests arrived, they enjoyed the Drinks Reception whilst watching the comings and goings on the River.  When Laura and Mark returned from their ride, we managed to take a few pictures of them before they were welcomed by their Guests and enjoyed some social time.  The Wedding Breakfast was served shortly after and the Speeches and cake cutting followed.  Whilst the room was being prepared for the evening celebrations, Laura and Mark’s evening Guests arrived.  The final part of our coverage of Mark and Laura’s Wedding was First Dance pictures, some night pictures and to round the day off some brilliant sparkler pictures. Cambridge Wedding Photographer A fantastic day! Thank you to Laura and Mark for wanting the pictures and it was lovely to meet Laura’s family again.
