  • Wedding Photography at Layer Marney Tower for Sarah & Les

Wedding Photography at Layer Marney Tower for Sarah and Les took place on a lovely summer’s day last year.

Sarah and Les decided to hold their Wedding Ceremony at the lovely Layer Marney Tower. They wanted a short photography coverage just enough to capture the Ceremony and then an hour or so afterwards.

We met Les first at Layer Marney Tower before the Guests arrived. After capturing a couple of pictures of him we took a few informal pictures of the Guests. Sarah arrived shortly afterwards. The Ceremony took place in The Corsellis Room.

Afterwards Sarah and Les with their family and friends enjoyed socialising in the grounds of Layer Marney. Sarah and Les requested a few family pictures which we did. A short walk around Layer Marney followed with Sarah, Les and ourselves.

  • Rhian & Ryan – Seckford Hall Wedding Photography

A lovely day for Rhian and Ryan’s Seckford Hall wedding. Arriving at Seckford Hall, we went off to find Rhian. It didn’t take us long as we just followed the sound of people talking and laughing. The Bridesmaids and Flowergirls were getting ready in a couple of the rooms whilst most of the Bridesmaids were in with Rhian. Final stages of preparations were happening and these were running smoothly. From where we were, we were able to see when Ryan arrived and were able to go and see him and take some pictures of him.

The girls were soon ready and then assisted Rhian with her Wedding Dress and accessories. We made use of the area outside the rooms for the pictures of them all when they were ready.

When the Guests arrived they made their way inside the Hall to where the Ceremony would be taking place. After Rhian saw the Registrars it was time for the Ceremony to begin. Rhian and Ryan exchanged their vows and completed the rest of the formalities.

After the Cermony the Guests made two lines outside the room and as Rhian and Ryan exited they three confetti over them. Rhian and Ryan enjoyed socialisng with their Guests for a little while before we got on with the pictures. We had time for a couple of pictures of Rhian and Ryan together.

Unbeknown to Rhian and Ryan there was a surprise in store for them! Alpacas! Rhian loves alpacas! Ryan’s Mum had arranged for two Alpacas to join them all later in the afternoon. The look on Rhian and Ryan’s faces was of shock when they arrived! Great pictures and lots of them of this event!

  • Colchester Castle Wedding Photography – Rebecca & Lee

It was a Colchester Castle Wedding for Rebecca and Lee in June last year.

    Colchester Castle

Rebecca and Lee wanted a few pictures as arrived at the Castle for the Ceremony, pictures in the Ceremony, followed by some family pictures outside. We were very happy to provide them with this coverage.

Rebecca and Lee had wonderful weather for their Wedding Day. Arriving at the Castle, we took a few pictures before going inside. Their Guests made their way upto the roof top pavilion. Once they were seated, Lee followed after seeing the Registrars. Rebecca was next, being careful as she went, especially in a stunning Wedding dress. It was quite narrow. The room was bathed in sunshine, it was very hot! We took a few pictures during the Ceremony and afterwards.

Then the Guests went down and out of the Castle to get ready for the confetti. On the way from the top of the castle to ground level we took a few pictures on the very atmospheric stairways.

Rebecca and Lee left the castle after being covered in confetti and greeted their Guests. and walked to the side of the castle for some pictures.

At the time we wanted to use the setting of the pond and gardens,we were fortunate there were not many people about there. Once the family photos were taken we took a few pictures of Rebecca and Lee.

  • Parklands Wedding Photography for Laura & Glen

Parklands Wedding Venue was the setting for Laura and Glen’s Spring Wedding. It was a dry day, slightly cool with the outlook becoming better as the day went on.

Going off to find Laura was the first thing we did when we arrived at Parklands. Preparations were well underway . Once Glen was ready, a couple of pictures of him were taken, not forgetting some with his ‘best woman’, his sister, Cassie and Usher, Josh. Getting ready pictures had been taken of the girls , the next step ‘ready’ pictures. Moving to the red room for Laura’s pictures gave us more room for this to happen.

    Dad first look at Parklands

The Ceremony took place in The Tabor Room which overlooks the gardens and deer park. After the Ceremony everyone went outside. We didn’t spend too long taking the pictures in the gardens, it was a bit cool. After taking the required pictures we spent our time capturing moments of the Guests socialising. A quick five minute session for pictures of Laura and Glen before the time of the Wedding Breakfast worked well.

After the meal and capturing pictures of the Speeches, Ruben, Laura and Glen’s son were having fun so we were took some nice pictures of the three of them.

We then had a lovely time with Laura and Glen around Parklands. The sun was out and Laura and Glen wanted to make good use of Parklands for their pictures, inside and outside. Fine by us!

Later after the cake cutting Laura and Glen had their First Dance and were then joined by their Guests on the dance floor.

To finish our day off the sunset was superb and not to be missed! Thank you Laura and Glen for a lovely day.
