    Pet Portrait and family portrait

It was nice to see Debbie and Terry again who booked us for a pet portrait using a voucher bought for them.

We last saw them at their son’s Wedding at the Reid Rooms .   Terry and Debbie wanted a selection of pictures in their garden of and with Daisy. It was a very hot day when we met up so we used the available shade in the garden. David and I spent an enjoyable time with Debbie and Terry catching up as well as taking all the pictures they wanted.

Daisy was so laid back.Pet Portrait Photographer Essex

Wedding Photography Town Hall Braintree for Jenny & Sam

Jenny & Sam booked us for their Wedding Photography Town Hall Braintree.

When we arrived at the Town Hall we met with Sam  who had just arrived with his Best Man, Alex. We made the most of the peaceful time taking a few pictures of them.

Sam was a bit worried as the Guests were not arriving as early as he expected! As is often the case they had arrived but as  they waited outside for more of them to arrive and then make their entrance! Sam then mingled in the Foyer for a little while.

It wasn’t long before Jenny arrived out at the back of the Town Hall escorted by her Dad.Braintree Town Hall Wedding Photographer They were showed into a room out of sight of everyone else. Jenny and her Mother and Father were joined by the Bridesmaids, and Pageboys. This gave us the opportunity of taking a few pictures before the Ceremony.

The Guests took their seats and Jenny, her Mum, Dad and Bridesmaids went upstairs into the connecting room. Jenny and her Dad followed the Bridesmaids and Pageboys into the ceremony room.

Afterwards everyone socialised in the rooms enjoying the Drinks Reception as well. Braintree Town Hall is a wonderful building and we certainly made use of everywhere we were allowed to go for pictures.Braintree Wedding Photographer Jenny and Sam wanted a few family group pictures and some other photos and we were happy to do those. For Jenny and Sam’s pictures we photographed them on the stairs and around. Wedding Photography Town Hall Braintree A little while later it was time to leave the Town Hall and go to Jardins for the Reception.

    Reception at Jardins

At Jardins, more Guests arrived, so we went around and took some informal pictures.  After a little while everyone helped themselves to the Buffet and then Jenny and Sam cut their Wedding Cake.

To start the dancing for the evening Jenny and Sam took to the dance floor for their First Dance. We stayed for a while until we were happy with our pictures. Our last pictures of the evening were of Jenny and Sam outside as the sun was going down. A lovely day for Jenny and Sam’s Wedding.Essex Wedding Photographer

Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photography Including The Dog!

Katie and Colm chose the lovely Layer Marney Tower for their late Summer Wedding.

First of all we met them at the Marks Tey Hotel where they were both getting ready. Preparations for Katie and Colm were going very well and we just got on with capturing the moments.

Katie and Colm’s requirements for the day were to be relaxed and to make sure their dog, Daisy, played a special part in their big day! After all, she had come from Ireland to be with them! ‘Dog of Honour’. Daisy was involved from the very start!Recommended Wedding Photographer Layer Marney Tower

Wedding Ceremony at Layer Marney Tower

Once Colm was ready, the men went off to Layer Marney with Daisy. Once Katie was ready we only took a couple of shots  and departed for the ceremony.

It was  touch windy but still a beautiful day. Layer Marney Tower looked a picture!

Before Colm and his Groomsmen became too involved with greeting the Guests, we took a few pictures of him, not forgetting some with Daisy.

Katie and Daisy led the way into the Corsellis Room for the Civil Ceremony. Whilst Katie and Colm were exchanging their vows, Daisy just laid on the floor and watched!

Following the Ceremony, Katie and Colm went for a ride in the Layer Marney Rolls Royce.  Graham the Chauffeur dropped them by the gates and they walked up to the Tower to be greeted by their guests. Wedding Photographer Layer Marney TowerThe Drinks Reception was in full swing and we captured the requested family pictures, including Daisy of course!  Katie and Colm had a short wedding portrait session around the grounds of Layer Marney including some nice Barn pictures. Loving our night ‘tower’ shots like we do, this was our last picture before we saw our ‘goodbyes’ to everyone. It was a pleasure, Katie and Colm, to take your Wedding pictures, thank you for asking us. A wonderful couple!

Lauren and Bodj came for their Pre-Wedding Pictures and to go over the final details of their Wedding at Mulberry House,Ongar, in the early Autumn.

Usually we go over the details of the Wedding before going to take a couple of pre-wedding pictures but this evening as the sun was setting the sky was changing colour wonderfully! A change of plans! Quickly we got in the car and within a short while we were photographing Lauren and Bodj in the lanes in a nice evening light ending with a superb sunset. Some nice results for a loveley couple.

Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photography  for Tara & Jordan

Tara and Jordan’s Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photography included a visit to St Mary’s Church, Layer Marney.

Our first port of call on the morning of the Wedding was at Tara and Jordan’s house.   Tara, her Mother and Bridesmaids were getting ready. When we arrived hair and and make up was going on so after capturing a few shots of this happening we went upstairs to photograph Tara’s dress, shoes etc.

Once Tara was ready we took a couple of pictures of her before she walked downstairs to where the Bridesmaids were waiting for her. After a few pictures  outside we  left  to go to the church.

    At the Church

Tara and Jordan’s ceremony was to be in the lovely St Mary the Virgin Church in Layer Marney. Jordan and his Groomsmen were carrying out their duties when we arrived so in between we took their pictures. Tara was escorted by her Mother and they walked up the path and into the Church. After exchanging vows Tara and Jordan signed the Register. It was nice to capture some informal pictures during this time.

After all the formalities and the end of the service, Tara and Jordan exited the Church. Their Guests had lined the path and as Tara and Jordan came down the path they were showered in confetti. Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photography

Fennes Wedding Photography for Vivien & Jonathan

It was a early start for Vivien and Jonathan’s Fennes Wedding Photography . Their Wedding was a Church Wedding then they went to to Fennes for the Reception.

First of all we travelled to the the Hotel in Cheshunt, where they had stayed the night before the Wedding. We moved from one room to another as there were lots of Bridesmaids and plenty of things going on! Jonathan was getting ready there also so we captured a few pictures of him. We managed to take pictures of Vivien’s Dress and accessories as well as capturing moments of preparations and getting ready. Vivien soon ready and after a couple of quick pictures we departed for the church.Wedding Photographer Essex Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Enfield was the Church Vivien and Jonathan chose.

The Flowergirls and Pageboys were at the Church so we took their pictures. Once Jonathan and his Groomsmen were altogether we took a few pictures of them. Guests were arriving so then Jonathan had time to welcome them.  Vivien  arrived with her Mum in the car and after a couple of pictures it was time for the Church Service.

Vivien was given away by her Mother and when they were ready they entered the Church. It was a lovely service and we captured some great pictures.Essex Wedding Photographer At the end of the service the Guests went outside and waited for Vivien and Jonathan to come out. As they did, everyone showered them in confetti. Vivien and Jonathan then spent a little time with their Guests before leaving for Fennes.Fennes wedding photography The journey went well for everyone, no hold-ups on the motorway!

At Fennes we took Vivien and Jonathan to do some of their pictures around the grounds whilst Guests were still arriving. This worked well as they had a little time to socialise when we had finished.

We still had a few requested family pictures to take but we took these during the rest of the afternoon, finishing with the everybody shot.  Vivien and Jonathan greeted their Guests before entering the Pavillion for the Wedding Breakfast. As they went in confetti cannons went off all around them making for a lovely display. The Speeches followed the Wedding Breakfast. Recommended Wedding Photographer Fennes Vivien and Jonathan cut their Wedding Cake and then took to the dance floor for their First Dance.  Guests then joined them on the dance floor.

We used the grass area outside the Marquee for a few pictures during the evening before Vivien and Jonathan took to the dance floor again for their Money Dance. After a beautiful day the rain appeared. Not to be deterred by the rain, Vivien and Jonathan wanted a picture on Fennes’ bridge with the lights on. So, with their umbrellas onto the Bridge they went.

A wonderful picture to end a really lovely day of  Fennes Wedding Photography.

Pontlands Park Wedding Photography – Nicola & Glenn

Pontlands Park Wedding Photography – Nicola and Glenn booked us for coverage of their Evening Wedding Celebrations.

Nicola and Glenn were married abroad a week prior so this was for the UK evening party!

When we arrived at Pontlands Park, Nicola and Glenn were putting the finishing touches to the room layout. Leaving them to it for a little while we went to refamiliarise ourselves with  the grounds, having been a couple of yeears since our last wedding there.

When the room was all set up Nicola and Glenn then changed into their Wedding attire. As they came down the stairs we took a few pictures. Nicola and Glenn wanted some pictures outside of the two of them and as the weather was lovely that is where we went. We took a variety of pictures before their Guests arrived.Pontlands Park Wedding Photography Nicola and Glenn then had time to greet their Guests before we took a few requested family group pictures outside the Hotel. As the weather had been wonderful all day, there was a sunset.

These pictures were a great way to end the outside photos. Inside Guests were socialising and the Band was ready for Nicola and Glenn’s First Dance. After this everyone took to the dance floor or just chatted with friends and family. During this time we took some informal pictures of the dancing, mini relaxed groups and overall pictures to show what was going on. Later, happy with our coverage of Nicola and Glenn’s Wedding Celebrations we said ‘goodbye’ to everyone. A lovely evening!

    Witham Pre-Wedding Photos

Witham Pre-Wedding Photos for Lauren and Bodj  – One evening in the summer last year Lauren and Bodj came to see us again. This time it was for their Pre-Wedding photos and a chat about their forthcoming Wedding at Mulberry House, Ongar.

Whilst talking about their Wedding the sunset was getting better and better.  We really wanted to work with the soft evening light.

With all the details completed we jumped in the car to go five minutes up the road where the sunset was best.

A good result! Great to catch up with Lauren and Bodj. They made a  lovely set of  happy relaxed photographs!
