We made an early start for the Wedding of Cheryl and Chris, to avoid the possibility of delay on the M25! It was fine actually, and we arrived at Cheryl’s house in plenty of time where final preparations were being undertaken. After capturing these we travelled to Oakwood House, Maidstone, Kent, where the Civil Ceremony and Reception were being held. The grounds provided wonderful opportunities for our range of family group pictures and Bride and Groom portraits. Although it was a lovely day outside we still made use of the wonderful staircase an rooms inside this Victorian Mansion House for some different images. After the Wedding Breakfast, Cheryl and Chris had engaged a great singer who did a good impersonation of Elvis as part of his routine and got everyone dancing early evening where we captured some entertaining moments! This was our first visit to Oakwood House, (hopefully not too long before we visit again!) and we would like to thank all the staff for being friendly and helpful.

Wedding Photography for Michelle & Darren
We started our day at Michelle and Darren’s house with a few pictures of Michelle and her Bridesmaids and this was followed by Darren and his Groomsmen at All Saints Church, Great Horkesley, Essex, where the Ceremony was held. Shortly after arriving at the beautiful Westwood Park, Colchester, the afternoon was interrupted by a shower but this did not dampen the relaxed afternoon. Afternoon tea on the lawn was followed by a BBQ held down by the Italian Lake in the evening, which made for a very enjoyable and relaxed day, finishing with a lovely sunset picture.

Wedding Photography for Sandra & Drew at The Fennes
It was a lovely warm day as we arrived at The Fennes Estate, Bocking for the Wedding of Sandra and Drew. Whilst David was taking pictures of Drew downstairs in Fennes, I was with Sandra capturing her final preparations. After the Ceremony the happy couple and their Guests were able to enjoy the Drinks Reception whilst the family groups were being organised. We then took Sandra and Drew over to the Bridge at Fennes, which is a feature they wanted to utilise in their pictures. Following the Wedding Breakfast we had a sneak preview of their First Dance routine, which they then performed to the delight and surprise of their Guests.

Pre-Wedding Picture for Lauren & Brett
We met Brett & Lauren and Tilly, their dog, at Hatfield Forest recently for their pre-wedding picture and an opportunity to run through their Wedding details. The weather stayed fine and we achieved some lovely pictures. Lauren and Brett are getting married later this year at Gosfield Hall.

Family Portraits
Lily is the newest addition to the family of Leanne and James, whose Wedding we photographed at Gosfield Hall a few years ago. Jack, who we photographed previously, decided to provide us with a challenge, which was fun, whilst Lily just watched and smiled!

Engagement Pictures
It was nice to meet Helen and Stephen again, as the previous time was in 2009, when they booked us for their Wedding Photography. We met at her Dad’s house for some relaxed pre-wedding pictures and are looking forward to their Wedding at Hedingham Castle in July.

Christening
We photographed Sam and Neil’s Wedding last year at Gosfield Hall, Essex, so it was a real delight to be asked to photograph the Christening of their son, William. It was a gloriously sunny afternoon and we captured some candid pictures during the Ceremony at St Nicolas Church, Witham, followed by some family pictures afterwards. Thank you to Sam and Neil for inviting us to join them afterwards for their celebrations.

Baby Pictures +
Laura’s initial call was for Baby Portraits, which we were of course delighted to do, but also turned into a family and then an Engagement Portrait, followed by discussions of their Wedding! We are happy to say we had a lovely morning, achieved some nice pictures and have booked their Wedding!

Wedding Photography for Emily & Simon at Le Talbooth, Dedham
Emily and Simon chose the beautiful Maison Talbooth, Dedham, for their final preparations and Civil Ceremony. After the confetti pictures the Wedding Party made the short journey to Le Talbooth for their pictures beside the River Stour. We left Emily and Simon as they went to sit down for their Wedding Breakfast in the Restaurant.
