The weather was very good for Essex wedding Photographers today! Susannah & Andy were married at All Saints Church, Myland in Colchester, Essex. The Reception was at the beautiful Layer Marney Tower. Susannah & Andy arranged a great surpise with their well rehersed First Dance routine.
At this time of year we start to do many portraits that we can not reveal until after the Christmas. Today was the most unusual challenge an Essex Wedding Photographer could imagine…..sorry you will have to check back here in the New Year!
Today we had the pleasure of photographing 6 month old Amelia and her parents in their Essex home. We got this booking on recommendation from Tina & Stuart whose wedding we photographed 4 years ago at Newland Hall, Essex. The picture here was a sweet one that Sandra got whilst I was packing away .
Kerrie & Liam managed to pick a day with great weather for their wedding at Braxted Park,Witham, Essex. Although wet underfoot we managed to find sufficient hard standing for most of the photographs. Not only have Kerrie & Liam got some beautiful pictures with the Autumn colours but also with the night time effect lights around the Walled Garden. The evening entertainment was provided by the band Nuff Sed who Kerrie sings with and she made no exception for her wedding! Flowers were by W Flowers, from Weeley, Essex.
We usually try to do our Engagment portraits severall weeks or months before the wedding, however with Kerie & Liam we ended up photographing them the day before! Photographing at places other than the fantastic wedding venues around Essex is always a pleasure and Maldon Quay is no different. We look forward to Kerrie & Liam’s wedding Ceremony tomorrow at Braxted Park, Witham, Essex.

Being an Essex wedding photographer does not mean we always work in Essex! This weekend we had the pleasure of travelling to the Kemphill Granary, Ryde, Isle of Wight to photograph the wedding of Layla & Martin. The weather on the day was a total washout but it did not spoil the relaxed nature of the pictures during the day. Layla & Martin dressed up again on Sunday morning so they could have some photographs in their wellies, out on the farm, we were of course happy to oblige!
