  • Donation to Marie Curie Cancer Fund

Another trip to the archives for another sad loss, this time from a wedding in 2005 at Five Lakes Hotel, Essex and for a donation to the Marie Curie Cancer Fund . The picture here is one of the general wedding shots and not of the lady concerned.

  • Sandra's magic touch

Sandra has been in action again with children’s portraits using her skills with children. Didn’t she do well!

  • "more than just photographers"

A lovely testimonial today from Nicola & James who were married in 2008 at Layer Marney Tower, Colchester, Essex. Click here to read it all

  • Baby portraits

Today we were at a clients home in Feering, Essex, to capture some pictures of young Henry, who is 10 weeks old. Of course we also took some pictures of and with his sisters but  pictures of Henry was the main requirement.

  • In sympathy

One of the hardest things we have to do is supply pictures from our archives, of people who have lost their lives. As we make our living from happy events,  these pictures are usually supplied for a donation to whatever charity is relevant.

  • Happy New Year

New Year is the time for many people to reflect on the year past and on the year to come, we are no different.

The year past – one of our best ever. We have photographed 67 weddings at many locations throughout Essex, Suffolk and beyond as well as many portraits. We have worked with and met so many nice people this year, a big thank you to you all!! An award of Excellence from ‘Wedding & Portrait Photographers International’ was very special, another next year would be sublime but we will have to wait for February to see about that! Helping some friends work towards their photographic goals was very rewarding.

The year to come – We are both looking towards the great learning experience by visiting the WPPI international convention in Las Vegas (a real hardship, he he!!) and are hoping to return with some fresh ideas to move our photography forwards. We are also very much looking forward to working with some great clients in the year to come.

Wishing a very Happy New Year to all our friends, suppliers & clients both past and present.

    David & Sandra

  • Merry Christmas

Well it’s that time of year to wish all our clients, suppliers and friends a very merry Christmas.

We hope that we bring many smiles as our photographs are received – that’s what we really like to do, make people happy with weddings and portraits.

Our regular readers may remember the secret job from a few weeks back – well we can reveal it now, chickens! Yes we did a portrait of these fine ladies, and no it’s not because they are on the table tomorrow dinner time!

    Merry Christmas,

    David & Sandra

  • Engagement portrait of Claire & Stewart

Claire & Stewart descided they wanted a home session for their Engagement pictures, which is always a pleasure when time permits. We will be photographing the wedding of Claire & Stewart at Leez Priory, Chelmsford, Essex next year and we are now very much looking forward to it!

  • Katie & Kieron's wedding at The Fennes, Essex. 20 December 2008

Katie & Kieron picked an excellent day for their wedding at The Fennes, Bocking, Essex. The Fennes is a great venue even if the weather is poor. As Katie & Keiron are going on a long Honeymoon we worked late so we could upload their pictures for them to see before they go. We hope they have a great time on their travels.
