Well it’s good bye to Las Vegas until 2011 and back to the realities of being Essex Wedding Photographers. We are both now really looking forward to our weddings so we can include some fresh ideas!
Well maybe not but it shows how we look for different and interesting pictures all the time! This flying saucer was actually a light reflected in a window.
Well you couldn’t go to Vegas and not see Elvis !!
A very important part of WPPI for us is the judging of the print competition. We can study the finest Wedding & Portrait photography in the world and see how this Essex wedding photographer meassures up! There were 2900 entries and we were very proud to again achieve an ‘Accolade of Excellence’, one of three awarded to English photographers in the ‘Bride & Groom Together’ section. The picture was taken at Fennes Estate in Bocking, Essex last July.
Does this make us the best wedding photographers in Essex? That’s for your to descide, come and have a chat about how we can help at your wedding.
The start of our WPPI experience was with Charles & Jennifer Maring who are photographers to many top celebrities. We watched demonstrations of a number of new posing and lighting techniques and we discussed marketing and sales – all of which will help us back in Essex.
To continue our ambitions to remain among the best Essex Wedding & Portrait photographers, we are attending the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International convention at MGM Grand, Las Vegas from 11-20 Feb. We will attending seminars and lectures by some of the worlds top photographers and seeing if we again collect a Certificate of Excellence for our work, as we did last year.
During this period we may not be able to respond quickly to telephone & e-mail but rest assured we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding & patience.
Emmanuelle & Timi pick a very sunny but cold day for their wedding at Braintree Regrstry office, Essex. The traditional African dress of many of the guests made it a very colourful wedding. As this was a small wedding party, Sandra took the lead photographer role again to extend her experience further and make me appreciate just how much she does on a wedding day!
After an early morning call fron the BBC Essex team, David was interviewed live on-air on the Ken Crowther show, after Ken had problems photographing in the snow. Some excitement to start a Saturday!
