To celebrate St George’s Day we had the pleasure of lunch with Richard Palmer & The English Toastmaster’s Association at The County Hotel, Chelmsford, Essex. As part of their celebrations we photographed their presentations to The Chair of Essex County Council and a separate presentation to The Mayor & Mayoress of Chelmsford. A very pleasurable lunch!
The wedding of Faye & Mark was blessed with warm spring sunshine which all the guests enjoyed while we created some traditional, Reportage and fun pictures. Hintlesham Hall is a great place for creating some interesting wedding photographs. After the meal we managed to create a few sunset pictures and shots inside the hotel that Faye & Mark wanted.
Anita and Matt were married in the Keep of Hedingham Castle in the north of Essex. The day was a little overcast which was perfect for wedding photography! The reception was at the Bull Hotel, Long Melford, Suffolk and it was our first visit here – we like it! Anita and Matt were keen to make the most of the photographic opportunities available at tboth venues and we were happy to oblige.
Saturday 11th April found us working at our local church, St Nicolas, Witham and then on to Newland Hall, for the wedding of Kate & Glenn. The rain mostly held off at the important moments and we got some really good natural photographs despite being a little short of time.
We are really looking forward to showing Kate & Glenn their wedding photographs when they return from Las Vegas (same hotel that we stayed at in February!) in a few days time.
Jo & Simon are to marry in a few weeks at St Nicolas Church, Witham, with a reception at Newland Hall. For their pre-wedding shoot we went to Beeleigh Abbey (not open to the public) and enjoyed the spring sunshine and got a variety of great shots. This is one of Sandra’s.
Nice to see The Fennes, Bocking Essex, are using one of our Award winning (see Feb blog) pictures in their feature for this month’s ‘I Do’ wedding magazine. Unfortunately it has been printed in reverse in the feature – but it still looks a nice picture.
Sandra went for a training day at Fanhams Hall, Ware, Hertfordshire. She was expanding her learning from one of the all time masters, Ray Lowe FBIPP. For more pictures visit our portfolio page for Fanhams Hall.
Whilst Sandra was on a training day, I took the oportunity to check out Fanhams Hall, Ware, Hertfordshire, for where we have had wedding enquiries. Wow, what a photographer’s dream!! REALLY looking forward to working at this venue.
Children are so much more relaxed in their own environment, Jack & William were no exception. Their parents Katie & Nigel know us from their wedding at Fennes in 2001 and a family portrait in between.
