Our first job of the New Year was a family portrait session for Leah and Jason, whose Wedding we photographed at Layer Marney Tower in 2007. It was a pleasure meeting again family members as well as the new members of the family.

Review of the year
2010 has been a good year for our Business, mostly wedding photography around Essex, with a few family portraits and babies. The weddings have seen us in action from Devon to Scotland and we have met and worked with some really nice people – thank you all!!
2011 looks like being another excellent year but at the time being we do look mostly like being mostly ‘Essex wedding Photographers’ however we are always open to offers of weddings in any destination UK or beyond!
Thank you all for your support in 2010 and we look forward to seeing you again in the New Year all that reamins is to wish
all our family, friends, colleagues and clients a ‘happy & prosperous 2011’.

20% VAT and price increases
Wedding Packages – we will be absorbing the VAT increase for bookings for the time being but are considering changes due to increased costs of everything.
Prints – online order prices will be increased on 4th Jan to cover the VAT rise and increased material costs although they will still be around 10% less than they were 2 years ago!

Wedding Photography for Charlotte & Robert at The Fennes
The snowy weather had past for the Wedding of Charlotte and Robert at The Fennes Estate, Bocking. Charlotte and Robert chose to spend the whole day at Fennes from the preparations, to the Civil Ceremony, through to the Wedding Breakfast and the Dancing. Most of the pictures were taken outside due to the milder weather. Charlotte and Robert invited us to enjoy a meal as two of their Guests were unable to attend at the last moment, and it was nice to confirm that the food and hospitality at Fennes is as good as it always has been. After the Wedding Breakfast we took a few portraits of Charlotte and Robert with the night lighting around Fennes, just before the First Dance.

Testimonial for Essex wedding photographers
Another lovley note received this time from Musa & Kate who were married this summer at Leez Priory and have a beautiful Queensberry album:-
“Wanted to write to thank you but just can’t find the words to express enough how delighted with the photos we are but also with your service as a whole. We loved having you as part of our day and all our guests commented on how unobtrusive you both were.
We love the photos too much – our walls are still bare! We just cannot decide which ones to display 🙂
It is no surprise that you have a sucessful business the ammount of hard work that you both put in you deserve nothing less.
Many thanks again – here’s to a happy & prosperous 2011.”

Wedding Photography for Emma and Jamie at Prested Hall
The heavy downfall of snow added an extra dimension to the Wedding of Emma and Jamie at Prested Hall, Feering. After the Civil Ceremony we used the ample space in Prested Hall for the family group shots. Emma then put her wellies on, as she wanted to have some fun in the snow, as we did as well, and the grounds of Prested Hall provided us with some great picture opportunities. After photographing the Speeches we took a break before we photographed the cake cutting and the First Dance.
