  • Wedding Fayre at Layer Marney Tower

    Thank you to everyone who we spoke to on Sunday at Layer Marney Wedding Fayre about their Wedding plans and making it a successful day.

  • Wedding Photography for Shelly & David at Parklands, Quendon Hall

    Our first Wedding of the New Year had several connections to previous Weddings, so it was lovely making re-acquaintances.  Shelly and David chose Parklands, Quendon Hall, as it is a superb venue both inside and outside, inside being important at this time of year.  Most of the pictures were taken inside, as the grounds were rather wet, however we did go outside with Shelly and David just to capture some of the atmosphere of the exterior.  Our day finished after taking some evening guests’ pictures and First Dance pictures.

    WPPI 2010 Second Half International Competition gains David another Accolade of Excellence!!

    The wedding was in March 2010 at St Andrew’s Church, Bulmer, Essex with a Reception at Smeetham Hall Barn.

  • Thank You – Wedding Fayre at Smeetham Hall Barn

    David and I would like to thank everybody we spoke to on Sunday at Smeetham Hall Barn, Bulmer, for making it such an enjoyable and successful day.  We were really busy all day talking to people about their wedding plans and the bookings have now started to come in.  A hugh ‘thank you’ goes to Sharon, Francis and the girls of The Wedding Fayre for making this day so successful.

  • Wedding Fayre at Smeetham Hall Barn – Sunday 16th January – 11am-4pm

    Our first exhibition of our Wedding Photography in 2011 will be at the popular wedding Venue, Smeetham Hall Barn, Bulmer, on the Essex/Suffolk border, on Sunday.  We are looking forward to meeting some prospective Brides and Grooms and discussing their wedding plans.

  • Family Photographs

    Our first job of the New Year was a family portrait session for Leah and Jason, whose Wedding we photographed at Layer Marney Tower in 2007.  It was a pleasure meeting again family members as well as the new members of the family.

    Last Sunday we were invited to attend the 50th birthday party for our friend Steve Tarling along with a great bunch of other Essex and Suffolk photographers and Steve’s family. We all had a bit of fun messing in Steve’s new studio, thanks to Mark Ashworth for doing this one of us!

    Just wanted to send you a letter to say thank you for everything you have done for us…from the beginning of us choosing you to do our wedding photography, things have been great. It is very easy to deal with you both and you made us feel very comfortable and relaxed whilst in your company.

    You were fabulous on the wedding day and you proved that by managing to win Harry round and actually get some lovley photos of him!

    The DVD of the photos was amazing and it makes me cry everytime we look at it…such a lovley keepsake to be able to have all the good photos you took in a book and on a disc se we can bore people for years to come!!

    The album is absolutley brilliant and everyone that sees it cannot believe how wonderful it is…you sure have done us proud and we are so happy that we choose you to take our photos.

  • Review of the year

    2010 has been a good year for our Business, mostly wedding photography around Essex, with a few family portraits and babies. The weddings have seen us in action from Devon to Scotland and we have met and worked with some really nice people – thank you all!!

    2011 looks like being another excellent year but at the time being we do look mostly like being mostly ‘Essex wedding Photographers’ however we are always open to offers of weddings in any destination UK or beyond!

    Thank you all for your support in 2010 and we look forward to seeing you again in the New Year all that reamins is to wish

    all our  family, friends, colleagues and clients a  ‘happy & prosperous 2011’.
