It was a windy but dry day for Katie and Tom’s Wedding at All Saints Church, Creeksea. Thankfully the end of the Church was reasonably sheltered enabling us to take the family group pictures. Katie and Tom held their Reception at The Oyster Smack Inn, Burnham-on-Crouch, which we were kindly invited to and the food was excellent. Thank you Katie and Tom. The evening Reception was at the Royal Burnham Yacht Club, where Katie and Tom wanted some pictures overlooking the river and at the same time we achieved a sunset picture. Pictures of the First Dance finished our coverage for Katie and Tom’s Wedding Day.

Wedding Photography for Lorraine and Robert at Braxted Park
With the prediction of heavy rain an outdoor Ceremony was a surprise for everybody at the Wedding of Lorraine and Rob at Braxted Park. The Gazebo was decorated beautifully for the occasion. With the first spots of rain starting to fall we were able to get through the family group photographs in double quick time! This was followed by driving Lorraine and Rob to the Lake for some pictures as the rain was falling. Lorraine and Rob had a black and white dance floor and this added another dimension to the fun shots! Another surprise for their Guests was Lorraine and Rob’s dance routines which were absolutely wonderful. Lorraine and Rob braved the continual heavy downpour for a few moments in the evening as they really wanted to do a night shot at Braxted Park.

Here is a great quote from one of our recent Brides:-
“we were at a wedding on Sun and the photographer was rubbish! He had on jeans and a t shirt and really wasn’t giving any direction. All day we were saying David wouldn’t be doing this! Thanks again to you and Sandra x” -
Wedding Photography for Marie & Matt at Dalhousie Castle, Edinburgh
Our longest trip so far this year was to Dalhousie Castle, Edinburgh, Scotland, for the Wedding of Marie and Matt. The couple decided to use us, as we are local to them, to meet and discuss their plans, rather than booking a Photographer nearer the Venue. This worked really well for their big day. Dalhousie Castle is a great Venue for Weddings, with friendly staff, wonderful food, together with numerous photographic opportunities. Marie and Matt’s timings for the day allowed for some lovely relaxed informal pictures and together with the beautiful weather, it was perfect for us to do our job. Our day finished with a couple of night shots of Marie and Matt with the Castle illuminated in the background.
