We met Alice and Rob one morning to discuss the final details of their Wedding at Smeetham Hall Barn, Bulmer, and to take a few pictures.

Wedding Photography for Gemma & Neil – Thaxted Parish Church & Hedingham Castle
Gemma’s Parents home was the starting point of our photography coverage for Gemma and Neil’s Wedding Day. After photographing various details and getting ready pictures we took Gemma into the lovely garden for some pictures before leaving for Thaxted Parish Church. With a lovely Church and friendly Vicar, and fine weather, we took some photographs of Neil and his Attendants, Guests, before Gemma and her Dad arrived. The Church being large and light allowed us to take some beautiful photogaphs of Gemma and Neil as they were married.
Following the Church service, Gemma and Neil mingled with their Guests in between a few family photographs the couple requested. Gemma and Neil wanted a couple of pictures in Finchingfield, where we had taken their pre-wedding pictures, so the four of us made a short stop there before progressing to Hedingham Castle. The grounds of Hedingham Castle and House made for some wonderful informal as well as formal pictures which we captured before the Wedding Breakfast commenced.
We took Gemma and Neil for a few early evening Bride and Groom portraits after the Wedding Breakfast, followed by the First Dance and a few pictures of their Evening Guests before leaving.

Wedding Photography for Kelly & Tommy – The Fennes Estate
We arrived at Kelly’s parents’ house where everything was going well with the final preparations. As it was a lovely day, when Kelly was ready we went into the garden for some pictures of Kelly, Bridesmaids and Parents. Once these were taken we made our way to Fennes where Kelly and Tommy chose to have their Wedding. Tommy and his Groomsmen were ready to have their photographs taken, before Kelly arrived. As the weather was really good, the Civil Ceremony was taking place outside in the Gazebo, where the Guests were seated. Kelly arrived at Fennes and made her way to the Ceremony through the Gold Room.
Family group pictures, fun bridal party shots followed after the Ceremony during the Drinks Reception. We took Kelly and Tommy for a few pictures around the grounds of Fennes in between them socialising with their Guests.
As the Guests made their way to the Wedding Breakfast in the Pavilion, we had a little time with Kelly and Tommy for some fun relaxed photographs in the Gold Room and the front part of the house.
Following the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, Kelly and Tommy wanted some pictures in The Fennes Suite before their evening celebrations. First Dance and evening pictures completed our coverage of their Wedding.

Wedding Photography for Reena & Steve – The Fennes Estate
Wow! What an amazing day! Not one but two Wedding Ceremonies on the day for Reena and Steve! David and I arrived in plenty of time at Fennes, familiarising ourselves with the order of the day. David went to find Steve and his Groomsmen, whilst I joined Reena and the Bridesmaids. With lots going on in both camps, there was plenty to photograph. The first Ceremony was a Civil Ceremony and as it was a warm, dry and bright Summer’s day the Ceremony was held outside in the Gazebo, a perfect setting! With the many Guests seated and with Steve awaiting his Bride, Reena made her way to the Gazebo.
Following the Ceremony, Guests mingled in the lovely grounds of Fennes, whilst enjoying the Drinks Reception. A few pictures on the Bridge for Reena and Steve followed together with a few family group photographs. Reena and Steve had time to enjoy talking to their Guests before a few fun bridal party pictures were taken. It was not long before Reena and Steve left their Guests to change into traditional dress for the Hindu Ceremony. With such an array of colour and lots going on, outside as well as inside at Fennes, and as this was our first Hindu Ceremony, our feet didn’t touch the ground! The Mandap looked absolutely fabulous and after Steve had been welcomed by Reena’s Mum and they had taken their places, Reena entered the Mandap.
After the Ceremony everybody went outside for some more pictures that the couple requested.
Before the Meal, Reena changed again into an beautiful evening Sari, providing us with even more variety of pictures. Following the Starters, Speeches were made before the main meal. After the cake cutting, and Reena and Steve’s First Dance we finished our day. A massive thank you to Reena and Steve for including and educating us so much on their special day. It was good to work with David of Rideout Productions yet again and thanks to the staff at Fennes as always.

Family Pictures
It was great meeting Laura and Chris, together with their twin daughters, Daisy and Millie. The last time we saw them was last year for some pictures of the girls at home but today’s setting was on the beach at West Mersea with other family members, who we have met before at various Weddings and other occasions. What a morning to meet, the weather was very kind to us, and we had an enjoyable time having fun on the beach.

Wedding Photography for Katie & Paul – Marquee, Tendring
Our coverage of Katie and Paul’s Wedding started as Paul arrived at St Edmund King & Martyr Church at Tendring, Essex, prior to the arrival of their Guests. We were able to take some photographs of Paul and his Groomsmen by themselves followed by some informal pictures of them greeting the Guests.
The sun was shining when Katie, her Bridesmaids and Parents arrived and after taking a few pictures of them all, it was time for the Wedding service to begin. After the service we promptly got on with the requested family group photographs before leaving the Church.
On the way to the Reception at the family home we had allowed enough time to stop off at a cornfield for a few portraits of Katie & Paul.
Once at the Reception, Guests had arrived and were relaxing in the wonderful garden enjoying a Drinks Reception. As we had a few pictures to catch up on as we did not go to Katie’s house beforehand, we took these, ensuring Katie and Paul had time to mingle with everybody as well. With a lovely setting we captured some relaxed pictures of the Wedding and before long it was time for the Wedding Breakfast, when we left everybody to continue enjoying the day.
