Gosfield Hall Wedding – Rebecca & Michael

It was a windy but dry day for Rebecca and Michael’s Wedding at the wonderful Gosfield Hall. Arriving in the morning we met with Rebecca and her sisters, Tareena and Nahida, who were having their hair and make-up done upstairs. David went off to meet with Michael and his Groomsmen who were downstairs  Once all the men were present the Courtyard was the setting for their pictures. With some formal and then fun images captured, Guests were arriving so they greeted them and socialised in the bar area. Whilst this was happening, I was keeping an eye on the ‘getting ready’ pictures in between capturing details of Rebecca’s Wedding Dress and accessories which were in the Rococco Suite. Everything was running smoothly but as always the last hour seems to go twice as quick so as soon as Rebecca’s veil was on, it was time to move and get dressed in the Rococco Suite.  Rebecca looked stunning in her Wedding Dress and without further ado we got on with her Bridal Portraits. Gosfield Hall Wedding  Rebecca’s Brother, Shafi, was giving her away, so after he saw her for the first time we had a little time for a few pictures before the Registrars appeared. The Flowergirls, Megan and Ellie, then led the way along the corridor for the Ceremony in the Queens Gallery.Gosfield Hall Wedding Photographer Once the formalities were completed we capturing some relaxed  pictures as Rebecca and Michael returned down the aisle before making their way downstairs into the Grand Salon. As it happened Michael and Rebecca had a few minutes to themselves which for us resulted in some nice natural images. Their Guests joined them for the Drinks Reception and Canapes, allowing us time for the informal pictures. After a little whilst socialising it was time to get on with the requested Group pictures and some Bridal Party pictures. Although chilly, these pictures were taken outside in the Courtyard before returning to the warmth of Gosfield Hall! Wedding Photography Gosfield HallA very quick walk around the outside of Gosfield Hall took place a little later on, well done Rebecca and Michael, more than a touch windswept! We took a few requested pictures just before the Greeting Line and theWedding  Breakfast. There were some wonderful expressive images during the Speeches which of course we were pleased to get. Wedding Photographer Gosfield HallEverybody then made their way downstairs for the evening reception. Rebecca and Michael cut their Wedding Cake then took to the dance floor for their First Dance. Wedding Photographer Gosfield HallAfter capturing a few relaxed evening pictures we said our goodbyes and left them to continue their evening celebrations.  A lovely day and it was nice to work with Luke (Videographer) Look Back and Remember.

Christmas Wedding Photography Fennes for Beth & Lee

A Christmas Wedding at Fennes! Beth and Lee chose the popular Wedding Venue The Fennes Estate for their Wedding. Arriving at Fennes, meeting with the girls was our first job.  David then went off to find the guys who were in the cottages making their final preparations.  Beth and the girls were having a great time upstairs in the changing rooms, having their hair and make-up done. Once Lee and the men were ready, looking splendid in their RAF uniforms, they made their way over to the house.  After taking a few portraits of Lee and a few pictures of them all Lee and his Groomsmen went into the house as the Guests were starting to arrive. By this time the girls were in the final stages of getting ready and once Beth’s Mother was ready, she assisted Beth to get dressed.  Beth looked lovely!

Fennes Wedding PhotographerTaking a few pictures of Beth, her Bridesmaids and Flowergirls, Beth then went down the stairs to where her Father was. The Bridesmaids led the way into the Pavilion for the Civil Ceremony. Christmas Wedding Photography FennesAfter the Ceremony everybody went to the front of Fennes for the Drinks Reception.  Beth and Lee socialised with their Guests for a little while before it was time to get on with the pictures. It was not raining so for the requested family pictures we went outside for a short while before doing a few more inside.  As these were taking place everyone enjoyed the mulled wine and mincepies. Later on, after Beth had changed her footwear, we took Beth and Lee for a few minutes over to the bridge for their pictures.Fennes Recommended Wedding Photographer Guests threw confetti over Beth and Lee when we returned before it was time for the Receiving Line.  The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Pavilion with the Speeches following. The best Man’s speech was extremely well planned!  There was time afterwards for a few relaxed pictures of Beth and Lee before the cake cutting.Wedding Photographer Essex Fennes Surprising their Guests with the light up letters on the dance floor Beth and Lee took to the floor for their First Dance.  After capturing a flavour of the evening celebrations we said our goodbyes. Thanks to Sharon and all the staff at Fennes.

    Emergency Wedding Cover

Emergency Wedding Cover was provided by us for the wedding of Suzanne and Roy. At 1.40pm we were happily going about our tasks in the office and home, when Sue Nightingale from Fennes called. The wedding photographer due at Fennes had sent the Bride an email  just ONE hour prior to the ceremony saying she was not going to attend!! At 2.20pm Sandra and I started photographing the wedding of Suzanne and Roy, even though we did not know their names at this stage. The Registrars had kindly delayed the Ceremony to give us time to arrive. When we had finished the photographs, we spoke briefly with the couple to find who had let them down. They had booked their original photographer on Groupon without meeting her! They had had trouble contacting her which had unfortunatly not rung the alarm bells. Sadly the world seems full of so called photographers, who are very unprofessional and Brides will continue to book them just thinking about a great price and not what they REALLY get for it. Please do check that your chosen photographer has: some level of PROFESSIONAL wedding photography experience; insurance; back-up equipment; professional qualifications; a physical address as well as a website and somebody to call on in an emergency. A wedding can not be rescheduled or photographed at a later date so be aware the sort of risks you may take by trying to save a few pounds. Maybe not our most creative wedding photography ever but it fulfilled the simple requirements that Suzanne and Roy requested. Not every couple gets as luck as Suzanne and Roy.

    Wedding Photographs Fennes

Hannah and Chris chose the wonderful Wedding Venue Fennes for their Wedding in November last year. Making our way to The Fennes Estate the fog was beginning to lift and we had our fingers crossed it would continue! Hannah, her Bridesmaids and Parents were getting ready at Fennes and when we arrived all preparations were running smoothly.  There was a lovely relaxed feel to the day and when everyone was ready we went into the Gold Room.  After a few pictures we left to go to St Mary’s Church, Bocking for the church service. wedding photography fennes We met with Chris, his Best Man and Ushers and found a little time to take some pictures of them before they resumed their duties. It wasn’t long before Hannah arrived and escorted by her Father and Bridesmaids, she made her way up the path to the church. Perfect time for the sun to come out.  After the church service everybody made their way outside for a few requested pictures.  We only took a few pictures outside the door as the sun was now proving to be a menace! Wedding Photographer Essex St Marys BockingThe Guests then made their way back down the path to the gate and waited for Hannah and Chris to throw confetti over them.  We made our way back to Fennes with Hannah and Chris, but ahead of the Guests. With the splendid Autumn colours around we wanted to take Hannah and Chris for a few minutes for their pictures on the bridge and around the grounds.  It worked wonderfully well!Wedding Photographer Fennes autumn wedding Hannah and Chris then joined the Wedding Guests for the Drinks Reception.  Some fun Bridal Party pictures were taken a little later on in between taking a few informal images of the Guests. As we were outside the mist started to come down and added an extra feel to the day. The Wedding Breakfast took place in the Pavilion and this was followed by the Speeches.  Liking the Speeches as we do we were happy to be spoilt for choice with pictures.  Later, waiting for the Evening Guests to arrive and the evening celebrations to start, we took a few evening pictures of Hannah and Chris.  Recommended Wedding Photographer Fennes sparkler heart Coverage of the First Dance was followed by some sparkler shots before it was time for us to leave. Essex Barn Wedding Photography – The White Hart, Great Yeldham

The Essex Barn at The White Hart, Great Yeldham – It was a lovely day for the Wedding of Sarah and Rob in October last year. Arriving at Sarah’s Parents’ house on the morning of the Wedding, Sarah’s Father greeted us as Sarah was at the Hairdressers. It wasn’t long before Sarah appeared with her Bridesmaids and her Mum.  Whilst taking pictures of  the details and accessories, the Champagne was opened and sipped for a few minutes before the girls finished their final preparations. Once everybody was ready we took a few pictures before leaving to go to St Peter’s Church, Coggeshall. We met with Rob and his Groomsmen at the gate and took a few pictures there before walking up the path to the Church.  This beautiful Church provides a wonderful backdrop and we made use of it for their pictures outside in the sunshine. Essex Wedding PhotographerSarah arrived a little while later in a Lodges’ coach.  Accompanied by her Bridesmaids, Sarah made her way up the path to the Church. After a few words with the Vicar, Sarah took her Father’s arm and made her entrance into the Church.Wedding Photographer Essex st peters ad vincula coggeshall During the service the local school choir sung for Sarah and Rob and performed very well.  After the service, the Wedding Guests followed Sarah and Rob out of the Church for some requested family pictures. With these achieved, Sarah and Rob then made their way down the path to the gate where they were showered in confetti.  They then left the Church by coach with some of their Guests for the Reception.  Sarah and Rob’s chosen Venue for the Reception was The White Hart, Great Yeldham.  As the Guests arrived they made their way indoors for the Drinks Reception whilst we took a couple of pictures of Sarah and Rob in front of The White Hart. The White Hart Great Yeldham Wedding Photographs This was swiftly followed by a short walk around the grounds for their pictures before Sarah and Rob joined their Guests. We managed to capture some informal moments inside and outside together with some fun Bridal Party pictures.  The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Essex Barn, so once everybody was seated and the Champagne poured, the Speeches started and the meal followed. Although there was not a sunset later, we took a few evening pictures of Sarah and Rob outside. Essex barn night wedding photosThe evening celebrations started with Sarah and Rob’s First Dance together before their Guests joined them on the dance floor. It was nice to see so many people on the dance floor so quickly and putting on a brilliant display! Thank you Mel and Dave for recommending us to Sarah and Rob. A lovely day!

    Wedding Photography Hintlesham

Hintlesham Hall Wedding – Donna and Sam  booked us for their Wedding way back in 2013!   It was well worth the wait! They had in fact booked their venue AFTER talking to us and looking through our samples. It was a glorious Autumn day upon our arrival at the stunning Hintlesham Hall. There was plenty of time to capture the ‘getting ready’ pictures of Donna and the girls in the wonderful Braganza Suite and all preparations were going well. Away from the girls, Sam was doing his last minute finishing with his Best Men and Ushers.

Hintlesham Hall Wedding Photographer grooms photosWhilst I stayed with the girls, David went off to join the men. Sam’s pictures were taken outside as the beautiful weather allowed us to. Sam then joined the Wedding Guests who had started to arrive and after capturing a few informal pictures David returned to the girls in the Braganza Suite. By this time Donna was ready, looking absolutely fabulous! After a few  pictures in the room we went to the back stairs for a few more before it was time for Donna to see the Registrars.Hintlesham Hall Wedding Photographer back stairs photographs  The Bridesmaids, Paige the Flowergirl and Tyler the Pageboy waited in the Long Gallery waiting for Donna to join them. The Civil Ceremony was held in The Salon and when it was time Donna took her Father’s arm and walked into the room. Following the Ceremony everybody went into the Garden Room for the Drinks Reception.  Being such a lovely day everyone went outside and socialised. After a little while we got on with taking the requested family photos. Leaving the Guests for a few minutes we took Donna, Sam and the Bridal Party to the front of Hintelsham Hall for a few pictures.  Some lovely pictures with a splendid backdrop! Wedding Photography Hintlesham Hall couple shotsThe Bridal Party returned to join the rest of the Guests allowing us a little time alone with Donna and Sam for their pictures. Spoilt for choice, a whirlwind tour of the grounds resulted in some lovely pictures of the two of them. With time for Donna and Sam to enjoy the rest of their Drinks Reception we left them to it whilst we caught up on a few informal pictures. Just before the Wedding Breakfast Donna and Sam were showered in confetti.  The Speeches followed the Wedding Breakfast and Donna and Sam cut their Wedding Cake before exiting the room for the Band to set up. Waiting for the evening celebrations to begin we took Donna and Sam outside for some night shots.Hintlesham Hall Wedding Photography night pictures A little while after Donna and Sam’s First Dance we took our leave.  Thank you Donna and Sam for choosing us to photograph your Wedding, it was a pleasure and you were brilliant! We were pleased to hear from Martin and Jess again in September last year telling us their news. They now have a daughter, Evie, and have now moved to Essex. Martin and Jess wanted some pictures of Evie and some up-dated pictures of Charlie, their Son, we couldn’t believe it was in 2010 they were married at Layer Marney Tower and almost a couple of years ago when we last photographed Charlie!  When we arrived at their house, Jess was out picking up Charlie from a birthday party, which gave us some time to take some pictures of Evie. By the time they arrived back we had done this.  After Charlie had told us about how much fun he had at the birthday party, he was more than happy to go outside. Martin and Jess wanted a couple of family pictures taken as well which we were able to achieve in the garden. An enjoyable time spent with a lovely family.
