    Evening Wedding Photography

Susannah and Daniel booked us for Evening Wedding Photography when they were married at the popular Crabbs Barn earlier in the year.

When we arrived at Crabbs Barn, Susannah was almost ready and we had enough time to take a few pictures of her and her family. The weather was fine to take some pictures outside the Bridal Room. The sun going down was a bonus and provided a nice setting. Daniel had a few pictures taken before going in to the Barn for the Ceremony.

Following the Ceremony for a few minutes we took Susannah and Daniel off for a few pictures whilst the Guests were served drinks. Susannah and Daniel had time to mingle with their Guests for a short time afterwards.

In the Barn we took a few requested family pictures. Joshua, Susannah and Daniel’s eighteen month old son had a few pictures as well. Before everyone had something to eat we all went outside where the Guests threw confetti over Susannah and Daniel.Evening Wedding PhotographyCrabbs Barn Wedding Photographer A couple of informal Speeches took place later. The Band had set up and after the cutting of the cake Susannah took to the dance floor for their First Dance. Our final pictures of the evening were a little later and after that we said our goodbyes. A lovely couple and a nice relaxed Wedding.

Wedding Photography for Maria & Ian

It was a bright dry day when we arrived at Crabbs Barn for the Wedding Photography for Maria and Ian.  Maria was getting ready in the Bridal room and we joined her to take a few pictures of her Wedding Dress and Accessories, as well as a few ‘capture the moment’ shots.

When Ian arrived before he got on with  greeting too many of the Guests, we took a few pictures of him with his Groomsmen. Everyone mingled until it was time to go inside the Barn for the Ceremony. Maria was soon ready and was joined by the Bridesmaids. After a few pictures, it was time to walk around to the Barn. Rain started to fall so we hurried inside quicker than usual.Wedding Photography Essex

    The Reception

Following the Ceremony, the Guests went into the Garden Room for the Drinks Reception, whilst we took Maria and Ian for a couple of pictures at the gate. The rain had stopped and the ground was drying up. Maria and Ian then joined their Guests.Crabbs Barn Wedding Photographer A little while later we went outside and took the requested family pictures with a variety of others. We managed to take Maria and Ian for a quick walk around the grounds before it was time for the Wedding Breakfast.

The Speeches followed, during this time it rained again but worked nicely for Maria and Ian because just as the Speeches had finished a rainbow appeared! A nice picture followed by the Guests joining us for the confetti pictures.Wedding Photographer Crabbs Barn By now it was nice evening,  sunny and the children and adults had the choice of staying outside or return to the Garden Room.  For their entertainment a Magician was on hand, whilst  we took Maria and Ian out into the lane for a couple of sunset pictures. As we returned the Evening Guests were arriving and a little while later everyone returned to the Barn for the cutting of the Wedding Cake and Maria an Ian’s First Dance.Crabbs Barn Recommended Wedding Photographer After capturing a flavour of the evening and happy with our coverage of Maria and Ian’s Wedding we said our ‘goodbyes’. A lovely day!

    Pre-Wedding Pictures

It was a lovely morning when we visited Tracey and Mike for their Pre-Wedding pictures.  Tracey and Mike asked us if we would mind going to their home for their pictures.  We were happy to do so, and after seeing their wonderful garden it was the right place to take some pictures.  First of all though we chatted and talked through details of their Wedding at Crabbs Barn which is going to be taking place soon. Afterwards we went out into the garden where we were spoilt for choice as to where we could take the pictures. The backdrop to the pictures was lovely, and we achieved some nice pictures.

Wedding Engagement Portraits for Louise and Gary

Seeing Louise and Gary again a few months ago at Crabbs Barn Open Day they asked if they could have their pre-Wedding pictures taken at Louise’s Parents’ home. The reason being they wanted some pictures later in the year with the cherry blossom. We were happy with that, so it was left with Louise and Gary getting in touch with us when the blossom was out.  This they did!  Louise’s Parents had such a lovely garden so we used the setting for some other pictures as well. We had a nice time taking the pictures and chatting about their Wedding.  Louise and Gary’s Wedding at Crabbs Barn in the summer will be extra special to us as we have known Gary since he was 5 years old and is one of our son’s friends.

    Crabbs Barn Wedding Photographer

A blue sky and fluffy white clouds greeted us on arrival at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, for the Wedding of Sam and Craig.  Crabbs Barn looked a picture and Paul and the rest of the staff warmly welcomed us as always.  Sam arrived at the Bridal Suite with her hair and make up done, leaving just the final touches to complete.  Everyone was excited, rightly so! A little while later Craig arrived with his Best Man and Ushers and before they got underway with their duties they had a few pictures taken. Once Sam was ready we took a few pictures then assisted by her Bridesmaids and Flowergirl, they  walked around to the Barn.  After seeing the Registrars, it was time for the Civil Ceremony.

With the sun streaming in through the windows, Sam and Craig exchanged their Wedding vows. After the Ceremony. the Drinks Reception was held in Pavilion, where we took some informal pictures.  Clouds were gathering so we decided to get on with some requested Group pictures during that time as well.  Following these, keeping an eye on the weather and knowing Sam and Craig wanted their pictures around the splendid grounds of Crabbs Barn, we carried on with their ‘together’pictures.

In next to no time we completed these allowing a little more social time for Sam and Craig to enjoy.  After the ‘everybody’ picture it was time for the Wedding Breakfast.  Craig delivered his Speech prior to the meal being served as the rain arrived.  Good timing! The sun came out again during the Wedding Breakfast and with everything running smoothly there was sufficient time before the rest of the Speeches for a couple of sunset pictures.  Sam’s Mum’s Speech was followed by a Speech by the Best Man.

Afterwards Sam and Craig’s Guests enjoyed coffee in the Pavilion, followed by the arrival of their Evening Guests. As a surprise, Sam and Craig had arranged a firework display for their Guests’ enjoyment.

Crabbs Barn Evening Wedding Photography for Charlotte & Mark

Charlotte and Mark wanted an evening winter Wedding at the poplar Wedding Venue, Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon. Before going to Crabbs Barn we called in briefly to see all the girls who were getting ready at the Riverhall Hotel. After taking a couple pictures of Charlotte’s Dress, some accessories and  a few getting ready pictures we left them to finish their preparations.  Arrriving at Crabbs Barn   we met Mark  his Parents and Best Man. The wedding guests started to arrive soon after we had finished the Men’s photos.  When the Bridesmaids and Charlotte and Mark’s  daughter  arrived there was time for some pictures of them before the arrival of Charlotte.

Charlotte, looked lovely as entered the Barn escorted by her Grandparents for the Civil Ceremony.  Following the Ceremony everybody went over to the Garden Room for the Drinks Reception.   After Charlotte and Mark spent a little time wth their Guests, we got on with the family group photos. For a few together  pictures of Charlotte and Mark we went back into the Barn.

  • Wedding Photography Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon for Victoria & Antony

Wedding Photography Crabbs Barn – Crabbs Barn was the chosen Venue for Victoria and Antony’s Wedding.  With the amount of rain we had in the morning we were so pleased it had all disappeared before we arrived at Crabbs Barn later on in the day.  At the Bridal Suite preparations were going well.  The Bridesmaids, Flowergirl and Pageboys stepped outside the room for a moment so we could photograph Vickies dress which they were not allowed to see until it was on! Afterwards they finished getting ready and when Vicky was ready we captured some lovely moments when they saw her dressed.
