  • Wedding Photography at Fennes for Maddy & Gordon

We were delighted to be booked for Wedding Photography at Fennes for Maddy & Gordon.

We arrived at Fennes as Maddy was getting ready upstairs in the House and Gordon was getting ready in the Cottage. We went up to see Maddy first and took a few pictures of what was going on. David went off to see Gordon who was almost ready for his pictures with his sons and Best Man.

Not long after this Maddy was ready and it was time for us to take some pictures of her, together with her Maid of Honour, Mandy and the Flowergirls, Grace and Florence. They all then came downstairs. Maddy was greeted by Derek, who was going to give her away.

    The Wedding Ceremony

The Guests were seated in the Pavilion for the Ceremony and once the Registrars had entered the Pavilion, Maddy, Derek and the Bridesmaids made their way down there, waiting to be ushered in, once everyone was settled.

After the Ceremony, Maddy and Gordon left the Pavilion and walked up to the front of the House. They then went into the Gold Room for a little time on their own. The Guests made their way up to the front of the house and had their reception drinks in the rooms.

    The Rain

Unfortunately, it was heavy rain outside so we all had to stay inside. Not a problem. Fennes is a wonderful Venue as there are always rooms which are available if the weather is not on our side!

    Wedding Photography at Fennes

For a few of requested family group pictures we used the steps just outside the door to Fennes. That way everyone kept dry except David!

    The Rain Stopped!

During a short break in the weather we were able to take an ‘everybody’ picture and we took Maddy and Gordon to the bridge. Being very wet we were restricted a bit on the pictures we could do but we managed.

There was still time to take a couple of pictures of Maddy and Gordon inside Fennes as well.

    The Confetti

Confetti pictures in the Gold Room looked good. Maddy and Gordon had a couple of pictures with their Wedding Cake followed the Receiving Line. The Guests then went into the Pavilion for the Wedding Breakfast, followed by Maddy and Gordon. Once Maddy and Gordon were seated that was the end of our coverage of their Fennes Wedding. A lovely Wedding Day!

  • Pre-Wedding Pictures for Lisa & Nathan

Lisa and Nathan came to see us one morning in early summer last year for their Pre-Wedding pictures. After coffee and biscuits and a nice chat, it was time for go and take a few pictures of Lisa and Nathan. What a nice morning to choose, the sun was out so we just went down to our River Walk to take a few pictures of them. As you can see, it was relaxed and fun, which these sessions are. After this as the Guests were seated for the Ceremony, Kim and Mike made their entrance into The Chapel. After the Ceremony, Kim and Mike had time to talk to their Guests before we all went outside. Some requested family pictures were taken around the Castle.

In between taking a few pictures of Kirsten’s bridal accessories we captured the informal moments of the preparations. The ceremony

Elena accompanied by her Father came out of the house and walked over to the Gazebo. After the Ceremony, as everyone took the Reception Drinks we took the ‘everybody’ picture and a couple of requested pictures. Wedding Photographer FennesThat was enough in the sun, time to move to the the shade of the trees for the rest of the pictures. It was a very relaxed afternoon and this allowed pictures not be rushed and gave time to Elena and James to talk to their Guests.

Elena and James wanted some fun shots so later on we did those and took them for a quick walk around the grounds for their pictures, finishing inside for a couple as well. Wedding Photographer FennesThe Wedding Breakfast was held in the Pavilion and once the Guests were seated Elena and James made their entrance. After the meal it was time for the Speeches.

Aware that their Evening Guests were starting to arrive we made sure we returned so they could greet them.

We knew what was coming next!Fennes Wedding Photography When the time was right, the DJ asked the Guests to go outside. Awaiting them there were Sparklers! With lots of Sparklers lit, the Guests made two lines so Elena and James could walk down the middle. Great pictures.! What a way to finish our coverage of Elena and James’ Wedding! A lovely couple and a fantastic day was had!
