Engagement Portraits – We met Sasha and Neil one afternoon recently for a coffee and a chat about their Wedding at Smeetham Hall Barn, Bulmer, later this year and for their Engagement Portraits. We found a few nice places and ended up with some good results.
Wedding Photography Fennes – It was a beautiful day when we arrived at The Fennes Estate for Jenna and Peter’s Wedding. Jenna was getting ready upstairs in the House, assisted by her Mum and the Bridemaids. All plans were going well and it wasn’t long before Jenna was ready to get dressed. As this was happening, David was photographing the men who were ready for their pictures. The grounds at Fennes looked splendid in the brilliant sunshine and provided a nice backdrop for Peter’s and his Groomsmen’s pictures. After Peter had met with some of the Guests and with the Registrars, he moved down into the Pavilion. 
Once Jenna had seen the Registrars, it was time for the Civil Ceremony. With her Bridesmaids leading the way, Jenna and her Dad entered the Pavilion. After the Ceremony the Drinks Reception was held at the front of Fennes where Jenna and Peter mingled with their Guests for a little while. Jenna wanted a ‘heart’ everybody shot which were were happy to do, thank you to Nicola of Fennes for helping us! Following a few requested family group pictures and a break for Jenna and Peter, we took them over to the Bridge and around the grounds for their pictures, using the daffodils and blossom. 
Looking for some different pictures at our Weddings is our aim and it was nice to achieve this today. Jenna and Pete were then showered in confetti in the Gold Room before the Wedding Breakfast. 
We covered the Speeches which were before the evening reception. Whilst the Guests were arriving we managed to steal Jenna and Peter away for a very short time for a couple of evening pictures, finishing with a sunset picture or so we thought! This evening we had a full moon! Right time, right place, brilliant! Jenna and Peter’s First Dance followed and we took a few informal pictures of their evening guests. During the evening it was nice to see some familiar faces, and thank you to Katie and Gavin again for recommending us! A brilliant day and thank you to the staff and Fennes for looking after us as always. 
Wedding Photography Crabbs Barn for Stacey & Ollie – The sun was shining brightly when we arrived at Stacey’s family home at the start of Stacey and Ollie’s Wedding Day. The finishing touches for the hair and make-up were being completed, so whilst these were going on we took some detail shots of Stacey’s accessories as well. Panic!! – a bag of important items had unfortunately been taken to the Church in Dad’s car ready for later!! This did not prove to be a problem as we had left plenty of time, allowing David to jump in our car to retrieve the bag, panic over, all part of the service!! Once everybody was ready we used the nice garden for some of Stacey’s pictures as well taking a few pictures inside, before departing for the St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church, Black Notley. Ollie was there with his Best Man and Usher, their Flowergirl, Olivia and Pageboy, Joshua. After taking a few pictures and a few of the Guests arriving, it was time for the arrival of Stacey. Following the church service, Stacey and Ollie were greeted outside the Church door by children from the school where Stacey teaches. Whilst some requested family group pictures were taken, the guests were offered chocolate coated strawberries and sparkling wine! Some nice pictures of Stacey and Ollie walking towards the car and being showered in confetti were captured before everybody left for the Wedding Reception. Stacey and Ollie chose the superb Wedding Venue of Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, for their Reception. The Pavilion decorated with bunting looked lovely and Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception. Bridal Party photographs happened during the afternoon together with Stacey and Ollie’s pictures. Later with all the guests seated for the Wedding Breakfast, the Speeches took place before the meal. After the meal, Stacey and Ollie took a walk in the lane and around Crabbs Barn, accompanied by Olivia and Joshua, where some nice images were captured, ending with a sunset picture. A little while later with their Evening Guests arrived, it was time for the cake cutting and First Dance. A lovely Wedding!
It was nice to be back at The Reid Rooms, Margaret Roding, as it has been a while since we have photographed there. Lucy and Richard chose to have their Wedding Ceremony as well as their Wedding Reception at this popular Venue. Lucy with her family and Bridesmaid, were getting ready in the superb Marks Hall Farmhouse. Meeting Lucy upstairs we were greeted with excitement, calmness and plenty of time! We captured some lovely ‘moment’ images during the getting ready stages as well the accessory shots especially the beautiful bouquets, which Lucy had made. Richard was having a few pictures with his Best Man and Ushers in the Courtyard before Richard went for his Registrars interview. After a couple of pictures in the room, Lucy’s Dad greeted her at the bottom of the stairs and then made her way into the Lounge, for her bridal portraits. It was a glorious Spring day and Lucy looked a picture as she then made her way to the Ceremony Room. Following the Civil Ceremony, Lucy and Richard led their Guests into the Courtyard for the Drinks Reception.
To prevent too many people squinting, we took advantage of the sun disappearing behind a cloud for a few minutes to start the group pictures before everybody enjoyed socialising in the sun again. We took Lucy, Richard and the Bridal Party for some fun pictures followed by a stroll around the grounds for Lucy and Richard’s pictures.
We arranged the confetti throwing just prior to the Wedding Breakfast. Thank you to Lucy and Richard for inviting us to join them for the meal which was excellent! The Speeches followed and we captured some brilliant moments. Afterwards Guests enjoyed the evening sunshine outside in the Courtyard and we took the opportunity of whisking Lucy and Richard away for a few minutes for a couple of evening pictures. With their Evening Guests arriving, the Band ready, it wasn’t long before Lucy and Richard took to the dance floor for their First Dance. After capturing this and a few evening Guest pictures it was time for us to leave. A lovely couple and a wonderful day!
The popular Wedding Venue, Crabbs Barn was the chosen venue where Deborah and Nick held their Wedding Reception. Our day started at Deborah’s Parents’ home for some pictures, inside the house as well as outside. Deborah’s Parents had a lovely garden and as the weather was good we took advantage.
Shortly afterwards we left to go to St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Black Notley. Nick was there with his Groomsmen, so when they were ready we took a few pictures of them in the Church grounds. Deborah arrived not long after and the church service began. A few family group pictures were taken afterwards before the Guests lined the path for the confetti shots before it was time to leave. Crabbs Barn looked wonderful as always and the guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception outside in the sunshine. After a while we took Deborah and Nick for a quick walk around the grounds for their pictures.
Deborah and Nick had arranged a surprise air display, so we had to have perfect timing to finish the ‘everybody’ shot just as the plane arrived! What a superb air display!
Guests were then invited to be seated for the speeches followed by the Wedding Breakfast. Whilst the Band were setting up for the evening entertainment we managed to take Deborah and Nick for a few minutes for a few evening pictures. Their Evening Guests arrived followed by the cutting of the cake and the First Dance. A night shot outside Crabbs Barn finished our coverage of Deborah and Nick’s special day.
Fennes wedding Photography – Fennes was the chosen Wedding Venue for Roxanne and Lee’s Spring Wedding. The Fennes Estate looked wonderful with the daffodils in full bloom. When we arrived the bridal preparations were going well upstairs in the House providing some nice images. Meanwhile, Lee, his Best Man and his Ushers were finishing getting ready and when they were ready, their pictures were taken outside in front of Fennes. Once Roxanne and her Bridesmaids were ready we took a few pictures of them before they made their way downstairs. After seeing the Registrars and the Guests were seated, Roxanne entered the Pavilion for the Civil Ceremony. Following this, Roxanne and Lee led their Guests out of the Pavilion to the front of Fennes for the Drinks Reception. Everybody enjoyed socialising with many Guests going outside as the weather was fine. A little while later it was time for some family group shots and some fun shots with the Bridal Party. Roxanne and Lee’s together pictures were taken later, on the Bridge and by the daffodils. Their confetti pictures were taken in the Gold Room before the Wedding Breakfast. Speeches followed and a while later the evening reception began. When Roxanne and Lee’s evening Guests arrived Roxanne tossed her bouquet before the cutting of the Wedding Cake. Our lovely day finished with a couple of night shots by Fennes Bridge of Roxanne and Lee.
We met Stacey and Ollie again recently to chat about their Wedding and to take a few pre-wedding pictures. Stacey and Ollie are getting married soon at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon.
Wedding Photography All Manor of Events, Henley, for Stacie and Brett – Stacie’s sister’s house was where David and I arrived early on the morning of Stacie and Brett’s Wedding Day. Stacie was in the latter stages of having her hair and make-up finished, allowing us time to photograph her accessories and capturing moments of the preparations. Once everybody was ready we took a few portraits of them all before departing for the Church. The service was held at St Peter’s Church, Thurston, and that is where we met up with Brett and his Groomsmen. Brett’s pictures were taken outside the Church before all of the Guests arrived, as it was a dry bright day. Shortly afterwards Stacie arrived and she walked down the aisle on her Brother’s arm. Some traditional family group pictures were taken outside the church after the Service and then Stacie and Brett were showered in confetti as they walked down the path, to their waiting car to go to their Reception. 
All Manor of Events, Henley was the chosen WeddingVenue for Stacie and Brett’s Wedding Reception and was a new Venue for us. After taking a couple of pictures with Stacie and Brett beside the car, they went inside Manor Farm Barn with their Guests for the Drinks Reception. A little while later we took Stacie and Brett for a walk around the grounds, achieving some lovely pictures down the driveway amongst the daffodils. After Stacie and Brett had a little more time socialising we then took them and the Bridal Party into the Courtyard for some fun pictures before the Wedding Breakfast. 
After the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches Stacie and Brett were happy to have a few more pictures in the time available, finishing in a sunset picture before the First Dance. With a superb dance floor in the Barn, Stacie and Brett had their First Dance before their Guests joined them. A couple of night pictures ended our coverage of a lovely day. All Manor of Events is a lovely Venue and we really must thank Zoe, front of house, for making us welcome and looking after us, it was much appreciated.
It was nice to see Katie and Michael again for their pre-wedding picture and to go over their plans for their Spring Wedding at Crondon Park, Stock.
It was great to be at the Prested Hall Wedding Fair today where we met some lovely couples. Thanks to Rachel and her team for their hard work.
