Fennes Wedding Photographers for Jodie & Oliver

Jodie and Oliver chose the superb Fennes as the Wedding Venue to host their Civil Ceremony and Reception in the Autumn last year. The Bridal Room at Fennes was busy with final preparations taking place when we got there. Jodie’s Wedding Dress and shoes etc, were moved moved to the Fennes Suite for us to photograph them. Oliver and his Groomsmen were ready for their pictures.  The weather was good, dry and bright, so there were several places for their pictures outside away from the girls. Once these were taken David who then rejoined the girls.  Once Jodie was dressed, her Father came upstairs to see her before we got on with taking a few pictures. After these pictures, it was time for everyone to make their way downstairs.  Recommended Wedding Photographer FennesThe Pavilion looked lovely, the set up for Jodie and Oliver’s Wedding was the other way today. After seeing the Registrars it was time for the Ceremony.  Jodie and her Father followed the Bridesmaids into the Pavilion. Fennes Recommended Wedding Photographer After the Ceremony everyone went outside for the Drinks Reception. Deciding to get on with the requested family pictures so they were then out the way worked well.We were able to capture plenty of moments during the afternoon as they all enjoyed the Reception.  Later on we took some fun  Bridal party pictures and had a short time before the Wedding Breakfast to go with Jodie and Oliver around Fennes for their pictures. Fennes Wedding PhotographersThe Pavilion had been turned around for the Wedding Breakfast and this happened shortly afterwards. After the Speeches we took Jodie and Oliver for a little while for some evening pictures inside and outside of Fennes.Fennes Recommended Wedding Photographer Jodie and Oliver cut their Wedding Cake and then took to the dance floor for their First Dance.  It was later that we left them to continue the evening celebrations and party. A wonderful Fennes Wedding!

Fennes Wedding Photographers – Rachel & Paul

Rachel and Paul wanted a Fennes Wedding. It was a beautiful day and when we arrived we went upstairs to the Bridal Room to meet with Rachel. Hair and Make-up was in the final stages, Rachel was chilled! Paul, his Best Man and Ushers were downstairs almost ready for their pictures.  Once they were ready we took a few pictures of them before leaving them to meet the Wedding Guests. As the Guests arrived they had the option of sitting outside in the sunshine or sheltering from the rising temperature! Once Rachel and the girls were ready we took a few pictures of them and a few portraits of Rachel. The Guests were seated for the Outside Ceremony so Rachel, Emma, Rachel and Paul’s daughter, and the Bridesmaids came down the stairs into the Gold Room. After greeting Emma as she came into the room, Rachel’s Father then escorted his daughter out of the room and across the grass to where the Ceremony was going to take place.

Recommended Wedding Photographer FennesLuke, Paul’s son, handed over the rings at the required moment, and after completing the formalities the Ceremony was finished. Rachel and Paul then enjoyed the Drinks Reception with their Guests in the grounds of Fennes. A few requested family group pictures were taken during this time together with a few pictures of Rachel and Paul on their own. Wedding Photographer FennesIt was nice to go under the trees for a break from the sun! Later the Guests went first into the Pavilion, followed by the entrance of Rachel, Paul, Emma and Luke. for the start of the Wedding  Breakfast. The Speeches followed then everybody made their way out to the front of Fennes for the ‘everybody’ shot.  By this time the sun had disappeared and it was cooler! We caught up on a few pictures that we didn’t do earlier in the day, making sure Rachel and Paul had their family pictures that they wanted. Fennes Recommended Wedding PhotographerRachel and Paul cut their Wedding Cake and took to the dance floor for their First Dance. A brilliant sunset concluded our coverage of Rachel and Paul’s Wedding. Fennes Recommended Wedding photographer Well done to Rachel and Paul, a lovely Wedding Day, arranged within six weeks of booking Fennes!

  • Emergency Wedding Cover

    Emergency Wedding Cover

Emergency Wedding Cover was provided by us for the wedding of Suzanne and Roy. At 1.40pm we were happily going about our tasks in the office and home, when Sue Nightingale from Fennes called. The wedding photographer due at Fennes had sent the Bride an email  just ONE hour prior to the ceremony saying she was not going to attend!! At 2.20pm Sandra and I started photographing the wedding of Suzanne and Roy, even though we did not know their names at this stage. The Registrars had kindly delayed the Ceremony to give us time to arrive. When we had finished the photographs, we spoke briefly with the couple to find who had let them down. They had booked their original photographer on Groupon without meeting her! They had had trouble contacting her which had unfortunatly not rung the alarm bells. Sadly the world seems full of so called photographers, who are very unprofessional and Brides will continue to book them just thinking about a great price and not what they REALLY get for it. Please do check that your chosen photographer has: some level of PROFESSIONAL wedding photography experience; insurance; back-up equipment; professional qualifications; a physical address as well as a website and somebody to call on in an emergency. A wedding can not be rescheduled or photographed at a later date so be aware the sort of risks you may take by trying to save a few pounds. Maybe not our most creative wedding photography ever but it fulfilled the simple requirements that Suzanne and Roy requested. Not every couple gets as luck as Suzanne and Roy.

  • Wedding Photography for Rebecca & Michael – St. Mary's Church, Bocking & The Fennes

Our day started at Fennes with Becky getting ready there before going to the Church.   After a few final preparation pictures upstairs, we took Becky’s Bridal portraits downstairs in the Gold and Red rooms.wedding-photographer-essex-fennes As Ian of Nixons Cars arrived, that was our cue to leave and head off to St. Mary’s Church, Bocking.  Capturing some pictures of Mike, his Best Man and Ushers, before many of the Guests arrived was achieved and as they made their way into Church, we waited for the arrival of Becky.  After the Church service and a few  family photographs outside the Church, everybody left to go to Fennes for the Reception. With the light being good, whilst the Guests were still arriving, we took Becky and Mike for a few pictures on the bridge.wedding-photographer-essex-fennes Prior to the Receiving Line, with the sun going down we quickly whizzed Becky and Mike outside to capture the sunset.  Following the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, Becky and Mike enjoyed a little while to themselves in the Gold Room (discreetly we took a couple of pictures!), before returning to their Guests for the cutting of the Wedding cake and their First Dance.wedding-photographer-essex-fennes

  • Wedding Photography for Pam & Dan – The Fennes, Bocking

Pam and Dan chose the lovely Fennes Estate for their Wedding in the Autumn last year.  Both of them were getting ready at Fennes so we were able to capture a range of different pictures before the Civil Ceremony. Following the Ceremony in the Pavilion, Pam and Dan made their way to the front of Fennes for the release of doves.wedding-photographer-essex-fennes With their Guests watching indoors as it was raining and after capturing a few photographs Pam and Dan enjoyed time socialising with their Guests during the Drinks Reception.  A few requested family group pictures were taken in the Gold Room and a short time afterwards, with the rain easing off, we ventured outside with Pam and Dan.  Using the Gazebo as it was dry made for some nice pictures and on our way back to the House, with the weather improved, the Bridal Party joined us for some fun, relaxed pictures outside the House.essex-wedding-photographer-fennes Later the Wedding Breakfast commenced followed by the Speeches.   Pam had proposed to Dan onthe 29th February and hearing the story made for some good pictures in the Speeches.  Whilst their Evening Guests were arriving we took a couple of pictures of the two of them inside Fennes before their First Dance.essex-wedding-photographer-fennes
