    Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photography

    It was a lovely day for Becky and Marcus’ Church Wedding at Lavenham and their Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photography and reception. Becky, her Parents and Bridesmaids were getting ready at The Swan, Lavenham. When we arrived there earlier in the day preparations were well underway. We stayed a while in the room where the preparations were going capturing a few of these pictures before going off to photograph Becky’s Wedding Dress and accessories in another room. Essex Wedding PhotographerReturning to the girls it was time for the Bridesmaids to go and get changed and Becky followed soon after. With lots going on and time evaporating extremely quickly everyone was very focused!

    David decided to go to the Church during changing whilst I remained with the girls. So good to have the Church just up the road! Once Becky and the Bridesmaids were ready, I just took a couple of pictures of them before Becky’s Father came upstairs to see his daughter. It is one of those moments I love and I was happy to be there. My turn now to get my skates on and leave them and make my way to the St Peter & St Paul Church.Essex Wedding PhotographerDavid had taken the pictures of Marcus and his Groomsmen and they were inside the Church awaiting the arrival of Becky. The Bridesmaids and Becky arrived and entered the Church. After the service Becky and Marcus came out of the Church and went off to the side to allow their Guests to exit. The guests lined the path and showered the happy couple!Essex Wedding Photographer At the Church we took the few requested family pictures before leaving to go to Smeetham Barn.

    Drinks awaited everyone at Smeetham. After Becky and Marcus had some social time we went over to the House and grounds for a few pictures of them. Enjoying the weather everyone socialised outside and we got on with taking some informal pictures. Soon it was time for the Wedding Breakfast followed by the Speeches. Some great reactions captured!

    As the time before the Wedding Breakfast had been a little short,  the Bridal Party and us went over to the lake for a few fun relaxed pictures after the meal.Wedding Photographer Smeetham Hall Barn Keeping Becky and Marcus a little while longer, we took a few more pictures of them by the water. Returning to their Guests as the Evening Guests were now arriving.

    Becky and Marcus had time to socialise for a while.Later they cut their Wedding cake and took to the dance floor for their First Dance.

    Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photography – Rosie & Ross

    Rosie and Ross chose the wonderful Smeetham Hall Barn, Bulmer, as their venue for their Wedding. Our day started at The Mill Hotel, Sudbury, where Rosie, her Parents and Bridesmaids were getting ready. After taking a few getting ready pictures and pictures of Rosie’s Wedding Dress and Accessories, the girls got dressed.Sudbury Wedding Photographer Whilst this was happening we had found a good area for taking a few pictures of them. This was only a few steps from the room they were in. Luckily, we didn’t come into contact with any Guests going to the Wedding! It was a good spot, we worked quickly as we had to leave to get to Smeetham Hall Barn. Suffolk Wedding PhotographerArriving at Smeetham Hall Barn, Ross was greeting a few Guests.  Once we had got all the Groomsmen together we took a few pictures of them after which they resumed their duties. Rosie arrived and after seeing the Registrars, with the Bridesmaids leading the way walked into the Barn, accompanied by her Father.

    The Barn looked wonderful, decorated by W.Flowers. After the Ceremony, everyone went outside and enjoyed the Drinks Reception.  The weather was lovely and Rosie and Ross were able to take full advantage off socialising and having pictures around the grounds.

    Following the requested group pictures. Rosie and Ross resumed mingling with their Guests.

    During the afternoon we took the Bridal Party to the lawn infant of the House for some pictures and whilst we were there we took Rosie & Ross’ ‘together’pictures.Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photography We rounded off the afternoon pictures with the the throwing of confetti. It was then time for the Wedding Breakfast and afterwards the Speeches. Straight after the Speeches, Rosie, Ross and ourselves headed away from the Guests to the fields at the back of Smeetham. Well worth the mini trek!Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photographer When we returned the Evening Guests had arrived. It was time for the cake cutting and the First Dance.  Capturing a few informal pictures after it was then time for us to say our ‘goodbyes’. A great day, and a nice couple.

    Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photography for Amy and Tom

    Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photography for Amy and Tom was on a lovely late spring day! We arrived at Amy’s Parents home first of all which was where Amy was getting ready with her Bridesmaids. The sun was shining and the forecast was it would be getting hotter as the day went on. Amy was in the final stages of her hair and make-up being finished so we got on with taking the pictures of Amy’s Wedding Dress and accessories. Ellie and Katie, the smaller Bridesmaids arrived a little later on. Once hair and make up ‘getting ready’ pictures were completed the girls watched as Amy opened her present from Tom. Time for the girls to get dressed and then Amy’s Mother, Lindsey, and Amy’s sister Robyn assisted Amy to get dressed. Amy looked wonderful! The garden looked fabulous and when Amy was ready we all went outside.Essex Wedding Photographer Although it was only late morning it was now very hot and sunny everywhere but we took some pictures outside. Finishing these we left to go to St Bartholomew’s Church, Wickham Bishops. Tom was there with his Grooomsmen together with Norah, their Flowergirl and Daniel, their Pageboy. There was lots to do at the Church as always but everything was running smoothly.  The Guests made their way into the Church for the service and it wasn’t long after that Amy arrived. During the service Daniel stepped up at the right time to hand over the Wedding Rings, a nice moment. After the service Amy and Tom came out of the Church, had a brief few minutes with their Guests before we got on with taking a few pictures.  These were kept to a minimum as space was limited, there were many Guests and there would be time to take some more at the Wedding Reception at Smeetham Hall Barn. So, as the Guests threw confetti over Amy and Tom as they left the Church, Ian of Nixons Cars was waiting to take them on their journey.St Bartholomews Church Wedding Photographer Essex Smeetham Hall Barn looked absolutely wonderful as we arrived, basked in sunshine! The car dropped  off Amy and Tom at the House right where the Drinks Reception was being held. After a couple of car pictures Amy and Tom mingled with their Guests whilst we captured informal pictures.Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Photographer Amy and Tom’s requested family pictures were taken in the shade of the trees which was appreciated by all concerned! Thank you Robyn for all your help! After Amy and Tom’s ‘together’pictures and before the Wedding Breakfast we took an ‘everybody’ picture. Coverage of The Speeches followed the Wedding Breakfast.  A  superb Speech was delivered by Matt,Tom’s Brother and Best Man which produced many many laughs!Suffolk Wedding PhotographerWhilst the guests were enjoying the evening sunshine, we whisked Amy and Tom away for a short while to get a few more pictures. Once the Evening Guests had arrived Tom and Amy took to the dance floor for their First Dance. Amy, Tom and ourselves were delighted later on with the sunset pictures to finish off. Happy with our results of a splendid day we then said our ‘goodbyes”.     Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Fair – Sunday 17 January 2016

    We will be exhibiting at the Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Fair on Sunday 17 January 2016.

    There will be sample albums to view without any appointment required. Come and chat about your wedding plans and see what we have to offer. Opening times are 11.0am-3.30pm.

    Smeetham Hall Barn is great for weddings with beautiful grounds to help make stunning wedding photographs.
