Tyttenhanger Park wedding – A new Venue for us! Bridget and Chris first saw us four years ago at Rebecca and Pete’s Wedding at Spains Hall, where they were Guests, so we were delighted to be asked to photograph their summer Wedding. It was a beautiful day when we arrived at Bridget and Chris’ house for Bridget’s final bridal preparations. After capturing the details and accessories, we took a few pictures inside before stepping outside briefly for a couple more. Just as we were leaving to go to the Church, the horse and carriage arrived for Bridget, her Parents and Bridesmaids. St Thomas a Beckett Church in Northaw was the chosen Church for the marriage of Bridget and Chris. We didn’t have long to wait before Chris, his Parents, Best Man and Ushers arrived at the Church in a Limousine. After capturing a few pictures as they got out and a few traditional shots together with some Guest arrival pictures, we waited for Bridget. Once Bridget arrived she made her way into the Church for the service.
Following the service, once all the guests had exited the Church, we got on with the requested pictures. With not much shade we worked as quickly as possible being an extremely hot day! Bridget and Chris then left the Church in the Horse and Carriage to go to the Reception at Tyttenhanger Park. As the Wedding Guests arrived before Bridget and Chris at Tyttenhanger Park, St Albans, they enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the superb grounds, entertained by the Harpist. We captured some lovely natural relaxed pictures of them all before Bridget and Chris arrived. The splendid grounds of Tyttenhanger Park made a superb setting as Bridget and Chris arrived.
After they had socialised with their Guests for a little while, we took some fun bridal party pictures and a few pictures of Bridget and Chris around the grounds.
After a big group shot it was time for the Wedding Breakfast in the Ballroom. Before the beginning of the meal Bridget’s Dad and Chris gave their Speeches. The Best Man’s speech was after the meal after which everybody went outside and enjoyed the evening sunshine. With so many fabulous photographic opportunities at Tyttenhanger Park, we were spoilt for choice as to where to go for Bridget and Chris’ pictures, so taking a reality check, we condensed our ideas down! Their Evening Guests were arriving and it was soon time for the cake cutting and First Dance. Bridget and Chris entertained their Guests with a great rehearsed First Dance. Bridget and Chris wanted a sunset picture which incorporated a quick drive in our car and they were not disappointed! A brilliant end to a brilliant day!
Thank you to Paul and Helen, the Owners of Tyttenhanger Park for making us so welcome. Rebecca and Pete, lovely to see you again!
