Fennes Wedding Photography for Elena & James

Fennes Wedding Photography – What a wonderful day for a beautiful Wedding at the glorious Fennes! We were so looking forward to Elena & James’ Summer Wedding at Fennes.

On arrival we made our way upstairs to where Elena and the girls were getting ready. James and his Groomsmen were getting ready in the house as well so after saying ‘hello’ to the girls, David went off to find James.

Preparations were going well in both camps. Once James and his Groomsmen were ready their pictures were taken around the grounds of Fennes. After that they socialised with the Guests spending the time outside enjoying the lovely weather.Recommended Wedding Photographer Fennes Elena was soon ready but before we took  some pictures Elena’s Father came into the room to see her. A few family and Bridal pictures were taken before Elena went down the stairs to see the Registrar.

Elena and James chose to have their Wedding Ceremony outdoors. Being so hot the Guests waited until the last moment for taking their seats on the lawn. They didn’t have long to wait, Wedding Photographer Fennes

    The ceremony

Elena accompanied by her Father came out of the house and walked over to the Gazebo. After the Ceremony, as everyone took the Reception Drinks we took the ‘everybody’ picture and a couple of requested pictures. Wedding Photographer FennesThat was enough in the sun, time to move to the the shade of the trees for the rest of the pictures. It was a very relaxed afternoon and this allowed pictures not be rushed and gave time to Elena and James to talk to their Guests.

Elena and James wanted some fun shots so later on we did those and took them for a quick walk around the grounds for their pictures, finishing inside for a couple as well. Wedding Photographer FennesThe Wedding Breakfast was held in the Pavilion and once the Guests were seated Elena and James made their entrance. After the meal it was time for the Speeches.

There is usually time between the end of the meal and the start of the evening celebrations for extra pictures with the Bride and Groom and Elena and James wanted to do some more and some fun pictures! Aware that their Evening Guests were starting to arrive we made sure we returned so they could greet them.

    The Dancing !!

When Elena and James cut their Wedding Cake a bit later on they then had their First Dance. The Guests then joined them on the dance floor. .A little while later a surprise for everyone! Moldovan dancers took to the dance floor and performed a variety of dances.Fennes Recommended Wedding Photographer Everyone clapped as they performed their dances. Wonderful! Now it was the Bride and Groom’s turn to join in followed by Guests if they wanted to. The dance floor was packed! Superb! Great pictures!

David and I after taking some informal pictures during the evening and stepping out with Elena and James for the sunset, made ourselves scarce for a bit. We knew what was coming next!Fennes Wedding Photography When the time was right, the DJ asked the Guests to go outside. Awaiting them there were Sparklers! With lots of Sparklers lit, the Guests made two lines so Elena and James could walk down the middle. Great pictures.! What a way to finish our coverage of Elena and James’ Wedding! A lovely couple and a fantastic day was had!

Fennes Wedding Photography – Chrissy & Mick

Fennes Wedding Photography – Chrissy and Mick chose the wonderful Fennes for their Spring Wedding this year. Chrissy was getting ready in the Bride’s Room when we arrived, hair and make up well underway.

Mick was finishing off his preparations downstairs so after saying ‘hello’ to Chrissy, David  went to find out how things were going. Once the men were ready they had some pictures taken outside. ‘His’ and ‘Her’s’ cars were parked in front of Fennes, ready for pictures now and later. Chrissy was soon ready for her pictures.Fennes Recommended Wedding Photographer

    The Wedding Ceremony

Chrissy and Mick’s grandchildren were downstairs waiting to play their part in the Wedding. After Chrissy’s meeting with the Registrars it was time for the Ceremony. The Wedding Ceremony was held in the Pavilion and the children led the way before Chrissy taking herDad’s arm entered the room. After the Ceremony everyone went outside for the Drinks Reception. It was such a lovely day weather wise, just right for everyone to enjoy themselves around the grounds of Fennes. Fennes Wedding Photography It was great to be outdoors, the garden games were out for everyone to play with. A lovely afternoon, filled with lots of laughter and fun. After a few requested pictures during the afternoon, we took Chrissy and Mick for a short walk around the grounds, amongst the bluebells and on the bridge. Confetti pictures were before the Wedding Breakfast and after the meal it was time for the Speeches.  Fennes Recommended Photographer

    The Evening Celebrations

The evening light afterwards was right for a few more pictures later on. During the evening we took some informal pictures capturing the enjoyment of the day. Chrissy and Mick cut their Wedding Cake before their First Dance then Guests joined them on the dance floor. The sunset was glorious, not to be missed! Afterwards Chrissy and Mick returned to their Guests to continue the celebrations. Recommended Wedding Photographer FennesCongratulations Chrissy and Mick on your Wedding! Pre-Wedding Pictures for Katie & Dan

Katie and Daniel came to see us just before their Wedding and pre-wedding pictures. The wedding was last year at Fennes. They came with their children, Jake and Belle and it was nice to meet them before the Wedding.

After a coffee and a chat and filling in the details about their Wedding, we all went off to take a few pictures. Getting to know our clients before their big day is really important to us and we find a brief time in different surroundings provides an opportunity of getting to know each other better.

Fennes Wedding Photography for Debi & Rob

Debi and Rob booked us for Fennes Wedding Photography for their early autumn Wedding. After meeting everyone in the Bridal Room, we got on with taking pictures of the details and accessories. In between we made sure we captured the getting ready pictures of both Debi and Rob. David was with the men and once they were dressed they had some pictures taken outside as it was still dry.

    A wedding Disaster!

The girls were nearly dressed but unfortunately the zip broke in the one of the Bridesmaids’ dresses! Not to worry, the only way to solve the problem was to sew the zip together! My job today, no problem! It was at this moment David returned! Good timing! David just carried on with the photography! Debi  was unaware of what was going on, which was fine by all of us! By the time Debi and the rest of the Bridesmaids were ready, the job was completed! Pictures taken and then it was time for Debi to go downstairs for the Ceremony. The plan was to have an Outdoors Ceremony but the weather put paid to that! The Guests were seated in the Pavilion and Debi came downstairs and went to the Pavilion for the Ceremony.   Fennes Recommended Wedding Photographer

    The Rain Stopped

A break in the rain allowed us all to go outside for the everybody shot before it started again. We got on with taking a few requested pictures using the rooms in the house during the Drinks Reception and we were able to use the steps outside for a few more. The rain did ease and we were able to go outside later on, using the Gazebo and the bridge. Fennes Wedding PhotographyDuring the rest of the afternoon we captured some informal pictures before the Guests threw confetti over Debi and Rob. The rain stopped again during the Wedding Breakfast, so in between courses we stepped outside with Debi and Rob for a few pictures. Fennes Wedding Photography

    A wedding Sunset

After the Wedding Breakfast as there was time for a few more pictures of Debi and Rob around the House and as the the sun was setting, a lovely sky, both in the lane and on the bridge! Not to be missed!Recommended Wedding Photographer Fennes Evening Guests were arriving as we returned so the Wedding Cake was cut and Debi and Rob had their First Dance. Later on we said our goodbyes. A great day! Thanks to Sharon of Fennes for helping the day to go like clockwork, despite the zip mishap which held together right through the evening!

  • Fennes Photographer Recommendation

    Fennes Photographer Recommendation

We received thisFennes Photographer Recommendation from Ness & Malcolm after their Renewal of vows at Fennes:-

    Hi David and Sandra,

    Happy New Year.

“David and Sandra’s work is amazing. They captured our day perfectly. They were professional, understanding, gave advice on the type of photo’s and spent time with us. The pre-wedding shoot was a chance for us to get used to each other and really built up a relationship with us. When the big day arrived we both felt really comfortable as did our guests.

Our vicar praised them as being non intrusive through the ceremony which meant that the important part of the ceremony was not dominated by a photographer. David and Sandra perfectly captured these moments without us knowing they were there.

The service they gave us from beginning to end was excellent. David and Sandra captured our personalities, the mood of the day and produced the most amazing album to treasure and can not praise them enough. We would recommend them to any future bride and groom.”

I know the above is long but I wanted to make sure we covered all aspects. Anne was really impressed with your work covering the ceremony, and said you were one of THE best photographers she has ever worked with.

Everyone who has seen the album absolutely love it. Especially the way it is laid out and how you really did capture what the day was all about.

We can not thank you enough for making our day so special.

    Kind regards

    Ness and Malcolm

  • Vows Renewal Ceremony Fennes

    Vows Renewal Ceremony Fennes

We went to Fennes for a Vows Renewal Ceremony for Vanessa and Malcolm.  The Ceremony was at The Fennes Estate, Bocking. Vanessa and Malcolm were joined by their family and friends for this occasion. We arrived at Fennes where Ness was getting ready helped by her Bridesmaids, whilst Malcolm was getting ready in the Cottage.

David went to see how the men were getting on whilst I stayed with Ness and the girls. Once Malcolm and his Groomsmen were ready they had a few pictures taken in front of the house.Fennes Recommended Wedding PhotographerIt was a lovely day and as the Guests arrived they socialised outside in the grounds and were joined by Malcolm and his Groomsmen. In the house final preparations were finished, it was nice to see Michelle of Bumblebee Bridal again, and we got on with taking some pictures of them all. With the Guests seated outside for the Ceremony, Ness came downstairs and met with Malcolm  before they went into the Gold Room and then outside. Fennes Wedding Photographer

    The Ceremony and Drinks Reception

It was lovely that Malcolm’s Aunt carried out the Ceremony for Ness and Malcolm. Following the Ceremony, Ness and Malcolm spent with their Guests during the Drinks Reception.  During this period we also got on with taking the pictures that Ness and Malcolm requested, as well as taking some capture the moment pictures. The Wedding Breakfast and Evening

After the confetti pictures everyone made their way into the Pavilion. There were a couple of Speeches before the Hog Roast then Ness and Malcolm cut the cakes. One of the cakes was the top tier of Ness and Malcolm’s original Wedding Cake and it was edible! There was some time available after that so we took Ness and Malcolm for  a short time away from their Guests to take some pictures together with a sunset picture.Wedding Photographer Fennes Returning a little time later dancing followed. A box of dressing up items proved a hit with lots of the Guests and we were there to capture the results! Happy with our coverage of Ness and Malcolm’s Wedding Day we then said our ‘goodbyes’. Ness and Malcolm had a wonderful day and we were delighted to be asked to be part of it. Thank you, Ness and Malcolm.

  • Fennes Outdoor Wedding for Kelly & Ben

Fennes Outdoor Wedding for Kelly & Ben

It was a beautiful day for Kelly and Ben’s Fennes Outdoor Wedding. Both Kelly and Ben were getting ready at Fennes so  David and I went our separate ways to photograph the preparations. In both camps preparations were going well. The Flowergirl, Ophelia,  was happy drawing and colouring whilst watching the preparations, waiting patiently for her turn to get dressed.

Once Ben and his Groomsmen were ready they came over to the House. After Ben had opened his present from Kelly he had a few pictures taken with his Best Man and Ushers. Upstairs, Kelly and her Bridesmaids were getting dressed with Mum assisting Kelly and were all soon ready for some pictures. Recommended Wedding Photographer Fennes

    The Ceremony

Guests who had been socialising outside and others who were arriving made their way to the area for the Ceremony. Ben escorted Kelly’s Mother over to the Gazebo for the Ceremony as Kelly came down the stairs and was greeted by her Father. After seeing the Registrars, Kelly and the girls had a few minutes before leaving the Gold Room and going outside. Some lovely pictures against a wonderful backdrop as they joined everybody. The Reception

After the Ceremony everyone enjoyed the Drinks Reception entertained by the String Quartet. Timings were fine allowing time for Kelly and Ben to socialise as well as taking their requested pictures. A nice relaxing afternoon gave us time to take a variety of pictures but without keeping Kelly and Ben for long periods of time away from their Guests.  Before the Wedding Breakfast the Guests showered Kelly and Ben in confetti.

After the Wedding Breakfast it was time for the Speeches. Once these were finished as it was such a lovely evening, the light was good we went outside for a few more pictures.  Finishing off as we returned to the Pavilion we took a couple of pictures in the house.Classic posed wedding pictures in Fennes red room After the evening Guests had arrived it was time for cutting the Wedding Cake and the First Dance.
