Emma and Richard’s Winter Wedding was held at Prested Hall, Feering. Emma and Rick wanted a small relaxed Wedding with their family and close friends and Prested Hall fitted the bill. We started by going to see Emma upstairs where she was with her Mother. Our first job of the day was to photograph the details and accessories. Emma had allowed sufficient time for these to be taken as well as getting ready, no rushing! During this time David went off to find Rick, his Best Man and Ushers. Although cold outside it was dry so off they all went for their pictures. Emma was looking radiant once she was ready we took a few portraits of her before her Brother arrived to give her away. The Civil Ceremony was to take place in the Oak Room followed by the Reception. Before everybody got too comfortable inside we took them all briefly outside for the requested family pictures.
Leaving their Guests enjoying the Drinks Reception and being entertained by the Quartet, we took Emma and Rick for a little while around the grounds of Prested Hall for their ‘together’ photos. Upon their return there was plenty of time for them to socialise with their guests and we captured some nice informal moments. These were enhanced by the decorations, christmas colours and ambience of the day. 
The Orangery looked wonderful for their Wedding Breakfast, which was followed by the Speeches. Rick’s expressions during this the speeches had us all laughing! Once the evening Guests had arrived everybody was treated to a Fireworks display before Emma and Rick took to the Dancefloor for their First Dance. 
A little while later we left them all to continue their celebrations. This was another wedding that suited our discreet and relaxed style very well and why we enjoy Wedding Photography Prested Hall, especially with such a lovely couple.
Prested Hall Wedding Photography – It was an early start for us arriving at Anna’s Parents’ home for the preparation pictures. It was a beautiful day, and preparations were well underway. After capturing the getting ready shots, it was time for a few pictures in the garden which Anna’s Dad had worked so hard on to provide a nice backdrop. It was sunny and very humid so we took the garden pictures as quickly as we could! 
David and I then left to go St Nicolas Church, Witham. Chris and his Groomsmen were at the Church when we arrived and we managed to take a few pictures of them in between their duties. It wasn’t long before Anna arrived, driven to the Church by her Dad in the E-Type Jag. With all the Guests in the Church she made her way up the path and into the Church with her Dad followed by the Bridesmaids. During the service there was an almighty downpour which was quickly followed by brilliant sunshine! At the end of the Ceremony, Anna and Chris led their Guests out of the Church for some requested family photographs. Once these were finished everybody made their way to the gate for the confetti pictures, before leaving for the Reception. 
Anna and Chris wanted some pictures with the car along the driveway to Prested Hall, which we were happy to do. Timings were perfect, us arriving, getting set up just as they turned into the driveway. It was a great fun session with Anna and Chris also rehearsing (without music!) their dance steps for later, with us getting the fun images we wanted. Anna and Chris then joined their Guests for the Drinks Reception whilst we took a few informal pictures. A little while later as we were starting to organise the everybody picture, the rain made another appearance! The Wedding Breakfast beckoned! After the meal, we covered the Speeches, which was then followed by a second attempt at the ‘everybody’ picture with more success this time! Before the start of the evening celebrations and the arrival of their evening Guests, we took the happy couple for a short walk around the grounds of Prested Hall for a few relaxed pictures. Being a day of good but mixed weather, they ended up with a brilliant sunset picture as well as a rainbow picture!
Later Anna and Chris’ s rehearsed First Dance wowed their Guests before they joined them on the dance floor. It was nice to see familiar family members again. An amazing Wedding!

We met Emma and Richard one evening recently at their home for their Engagement Portraits and to talk about their Wedding later in the year at Prested Hall. It was a lovely evening so we took a few pictures in the garden as well!
Engagement Photos for Anna & Chris – It was nice to meet Anna and Chris again recently, for their Engagement Photos and a chat about the final details for their Wedding at Prested Hall, Feering, It was a beautiful evening and walking through Central Park, Chelmsford, provided us with some good opportunities resulting in some nice images.
Prested Hall, Feering looked a picture in the glorious sunshine, when we arrived for Sarah and Adam’s Wedding. Before the Guests started to arrive we took a couple of pictures of Adam with his Best Man and Usher. With Sarah and the girls ready we took a few portraits of them together with Sarah and Adam’s daughter Charlotte, who was the Flowergirl. After seeing the Registrars, Sarah took her Mother’s arm and entered The Garden Room for the Civil Ceremony. Afterwards everybody went outside and enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the beautiful sunshine. After a few minutes, Sarah and Adam wanted to get out of the sun (so did we!) so it was an opportunity for us to go with them to the far side of Prested Hall under the weeping willows, where it was somewhat cooler.
After leaving them to talk to each other for a few minutes we then took a few pictures under the willow before going over the Prested Hall bridge for a few shots with the hall behind them, before returning to the Drinks Reception. Later we caught up on a few requested close family shots and a few fun pictures. As our coverage was only up to the Wedding Breakfast we made sure we took a couple of posed pictures of Sarah and Adam with their wedding cake in The Orangery. After the Guests were seated Sarah and Adam made their entrance and took their place for the meal to begin.
David and I are looking forward to exhibiting our Wedding Photography at Prested Hall‘s Spring Wedding Fair this Sunday. For wedding photography Prested Hall is excellent and it was a beautiful day when we arrived for the Wedding of Helen and Matthew. The bridal preparations were going well with the Flowergirls, Katie and Amy enjoying watching what was going on. Meanwhile, Guests were starting to arrive but before Matt, his Best Man, Michael, and Usher, Ricky, greeted too many, we managed to steal them away for a few pictures, not forgetting Joseph, the Pageboy. After some relaxed informal pictures of the girls once they were ready we took a few relaxed portraits. The grounds of Prested Hall were bathed in sunshine and made a lovely backdrop for the outside Ceremony. After the Ceremony, Helen and Matthew led their Guests to watch the release of doves before the Drinks Reception. During this time we took a few family pictures as well as capturing the relaxed atmosphere. We all had fun doing the Bridal Party pictures before we went for a walk with Helen and Matt for their pictures. Prested Hall has endless backdrops for photographs and we ended up with quite a selection! Just before the Wedding Breakfast the happy couple were showered in confetti. After coverage of the Speeches, the early evening entertainment was provided by the brilliant Steve Hearn, the caricaturist, of drawn4u. Once most of the evening Guests had arrived Helen threw her bouquet and we captured some fun photographs of the Hen and Stag Parties that Helen and Matt asked for. This was followed by the cake cutting and the First Dance. Our coverage of Helen and Matt’s lovely Wedding Day ended with pictures of them and their Guests having fun with some Sparklers.
We met Helen and Matt early one evening at Furze Hill, Mistley, to take a few pre-wedding pictures and talk about their Wedding at Prested Hall, Feering. Furze Hill park proved to be a wonderful setting for the pictures with us achieving some nice images.
