Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Corrine and Daniel’s summer Wedding.

Arriving at Prested Hall, we went off to find Corrine who was upstairs getting ready. Lots of activity was going on but everyone was very relaxed. Corinne’s Mum and Bridesmaids were on hand to help Corrine when the time came.

Daniel arrived later with his Groomsmen. A few pictures outside Prested Hall were take of them all before they greeted the Guests. Corrine was soon in her Wedding dress and we got on with a few bridal pictures of her. We just love this room, scope for some nice pictures.

An outside Ceremony was the order of the day and it looked lovely. The Guests took their places and watched as Corrinne and her Father made their way to the Gazebo where Daniel was waiting.

After saying their vows and the formalaties completed with their marriage, Corrine and Daniel left the Gazebo and were covered with confetti as they walked away and waited for their Guests to follow.

Reception drinks were served as everyone enjoyed mingling. Pictures were taken throughout the afternoon, formal and informal. A short walk around the grounds for us and Corrine and Daniel resulted in their together pictures. A nice enjoyable afternoon.

Later the Guests tooke their places in the Marquee for the Wedding Breakfast.

The meal was followed by the Speeches. The evening celebrations were held in the Orangery later. The First Dance took place after Corrine and Daniel cut their Wedding cake.

Capturing a few pictures of the evening, Guests and dancing ended our coverage of Corrine and Daniel’s Wedding day.

Renewal of Vows Photography Prested Hall for Collette & Mark

Renewal of Vows Photography at Prested Hall.

Collette and Mark renewed their Wedding Vows at Prested Hall earlier this year. Collette and Mark’s daughter-in-law April, got in touch with us about capturing the Renewal of Vows Ceremony for Collette and Mark. When we arrived at Prested Hall early afternoon on the day of the Ceremony we went upstairs to see Collette. Collette was getting ready with her daughters and Granddaughters who were the Flowergirls . Preparations were going well. David went off to find Mark and his Groomsmen and take some pictures of them.

After this Guests were arriving so they socialised with them for a short while. Collette was soon ready and we got on with taking a few pictures of her and with her grandchildren when they were ready. The Guests made their way into the Oak Room for the Ceremony but Mark came upstairs. Collette and Mark wanted to come down the stairs and go into the Ceremony Room together. A nice Ceremony with Collette and Mark exchanging rings to mark the occasion.

After the Ceremony we went outside to take a few requested family pictures and any other pictures that were required. Everyone then enjoyed a Drinks Reception.

During the afternoon we took some informal pictures of everyone before taking Collette and Mark over to the Bridge for their pictures.

The Orangery looked lovely, as did the long table for everyone to sit at for their meal after we returned. A nice arrangement to a wonderful event. Leaving them to enjoy their meal and the rest of the celebrations we said our goodbyes.

Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Anna & Michael

Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Anna and Michael. The couple chose the lovely Prested Hall for their Wedding at the end of last year.

Sunny but flooded!

Weather wise it was not the day that Anna and Michael thought it would be. Although sunny on the day the previous 3 days were heavy rain. Prior to the day access to Prested Hall had been pretty limited. Having photographed many Weddings at Prested Hall, we thought we had seen everything. Usually the lake is the other side of the house but what we first saw as we arrived surprised us! The rain had ceased in the morning and the water was slowly draining away, with a little help from a pump!

Preparations

Once inside Prested Hall we went upstairs to find Anna and her Bridesmaids. Preparations were going well. Michael was in the later stages of getting ready so when he was ready we went outside for a few pictures.

Afterwards Michael, with his Best Woman, Nikki, went back inside to see the Guests. When Anna was ready with the Bridesmaids. we took some pictures of them all. Anna’s sons, James and Harry, came into to see her before proceeding downstairs.

Wedding Ceremony

Anna took James’ arm and went into the room for the Wedding Ceremony. Harry proudly played his part in being the Ring Bearer. Following the Ceremony we went outside. There was just enough room to stand on the drier hard standing to take some requested family pictures. David’s feet got a little wet! Once these pictures were completed everybody went back inside Prested Hall for the Drinks Reception.

Dry Feet

We captured a variety of informal pictures during the time upto the Wedding Breakfast. Before that though, we took Anna and Michael outside for their pictures. Out the back we were really lucky, we used the decking, so Anna and Michael did not get wet feet! A beautiful sunset for Anna and Michael as well.

Evening Photos

After the meal it was time for the Speeches. James and Nikki did Anna and Michael proud. The Evening Guests arrived a little while later and Anna and Michael cut their Wedding Cake and took to the dance floor for their First Dance.

A couple of final pictures by the Christmas Tree of the happy couple finished our photography coverage. An interesting day of Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Anna and Michael!

Surprise Engagement Pictures at Prested Hall Feering

It was nice to receive a call from Hardeep last summer asking to take some surprise Engagement pictures! Hardeep was planning to ‘pop the question’ to his girlfriend, one summer’s evening at Prested Hall. We were available and arrangements were made. Fingers were crossed on the August evening that Hardeep and Navina were not held up in the traffic coming to Prested Hall. All was ok. Hardeep and Navina had dinner served to them, whilst we kept out the way! The staff at Prested Hall had arranged tea lights to arranged in the shape of a heart under the Gazebo. You could not see them from the house. As it got dark these were lit. We just had to wait now!

Before long Hardeep and Navina came out of Prested Hall and walked towards the Gazebo! Using the bushes as a cover we waited until Hardeep popped the question and Navina said ‘yes’ before we came clean! Having captured the moment and the reactions we congratulated them and had a quick chat. We then took a few pictures of Hardeep and Narvina once everything was calmer! What a lovely idea this was and we were pleased we were there.

Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Carol and Steve

Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Carol and Steve’s winter wedding. We went upstairs to meet Carol who was gettting ready. Preparations were going well. Stephen and his Groomsmen were getting ready in The Dingle, so David went over to see them. Final preparations were being carried and they were soon ready for some pictures to be taken.

Meanwhile the Girls were getting dressed upstairs in the Hall. Everyone was soon ready so we got on with taking some family pictures and some Bridal pictures of Carol.

Ceremony in the Oak Room

The Wedding Guests were seated in The Oak Room. Carol, escorted by her Father, made her entrance into the room for the Civil Ceremony.

Drinks Reception

Once the Ceremony was finished everyone enjoyed the Drinks Reception for a little while. The family pictures didn’t take very long particularly as it was a touch cool.

Carol and Steve came for a very short while over to the bridge at Prested. There we took their pictures before we returned to their Guests. Confetti pictures finished the taking of pictures outside before capturing some pictures informal pictures inside Prested Hall amongst the Christmas decorations.

A beautiful sky marked the end of our pictures outside before Carol and Steve’s Wedding Breakfast. Just before we left them for the meal Carol and Steve pointed the knife at their Wedding Cake as we would not be there at the time the cake would be cut.

Carol and Steve’s Wedding Day was a lovely day with their children, Jamie and Lucy, a big part of their day. We always Prested Hall wedding photography!

Prested Hall Wedding Fair – Sunday 29 April 2018 – 12-4pm

Prested Hall Wedding Fair is this Sunday. The Wedding Fair is at Prested Hall, Feering. This Essex Wedding Venue is one of the best. It is a nice place to hold your Wedding, its superb grounds and a lovely place to stay if you wish. We will be in the Marquee along with many other Suppliers and have various pictures and Albums to show you. The Spring Wedding Fair is from 12-4pm so why not come and have a look around the Venue. It is also a good opportunity to talk with us about your would like your wedding day plans.

Wedding Photographer Prested Hall for Victoria & Greg

We were delighted to be theWedding Photographer Prested Hall for Victoria & Greg. It was a dry bright day when we arrived at Prested Hall. Preparations were taking place upstairs in Prested Hall so that’s where we started. Everything was running well and all the girls were very relaxed and enjoying what was going on. Without hurrying, there was time to take the details and accessories pictures in between capturing a variety of getting ready pictures.

Greg was in the Apartment getting ready and we captured a few pictures of his preparations as well. Once Greg and the guys were ready they made their way over to Prested Hall where they had a few pictures taken. Greg and his Groomsmen then greeted the Guests. Once the girls were ready and Tori’s Father had come into the room to see his daughter we got on with their pictures. It was nice to have a little extra time to take Tori’s Bridal portraits, she looked amazing! Finishing the pictures it was time for the Ceremony. The Guests were seated in the Garden Room ready for the Ceremony, whilst Greg stood waiting for Tori to enter the room.

After the Ceremony

After the Ceremony Tori and Greg together with their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception. A short time later we got on with the requested family pictures. The sun was out whilst we took the pictures but as we were coming to the finish with the group pictures, dark clouds appeared! The Guests made their way into Prested Hall as it started to rain, but Tori, Greg and ourselves decided to head over to the Gazebo. Under cover we took a few of Tori and Greg’s together pictures, David got a touch wet! Tori and Greg then returned to their Guests until the Wedding Breakfast. The Marquee was where the Wedding Breakfast was held and after the meal we captured the moments of the Speeches. Once the Speeches were completed there was a break before the start of the evening celebrations.

The Evening

During this time, Tori, Greg and ourselves went off for a short while to take some more pictures of them and the sunset. The rain had stopped, it was a pleasant evening and we made the most of the time.

On our return, the evening Guests had arrived and after a short while Tori and Greg cut their Wedding Cake. Their First Dance was next and afterwards we took a few informal pictures of the evening celebrations. Our last pictures of the night were the Sparklers’ shots. Tori and Greg’s Wedding Day was a memorable day, they are a wonderful couple! Congratulations!

Colchester Engagement Shoot

It was nice to see Tori and Greg again one evening a couple months before their Colchester Engagement Shoot. This was also the time to meet up to and talk about their Wedding day. We arranged to meet at Highwoods County Park in Colchester early one evening. It was a good place and a nice time to choose and the weather kept fine for us as well.First of all we went for a short walk taking some pictures as we went before we filled in the remaining details about their Wedding. We are looking forward to Tori and Greg’s Wedding at Prested Hall.

Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Hayley & Jason

It was nice to be back for more Prested Hall Wedding Photography. This time for the Wedding of Hayley and Jason. Hayley, her Parents and Bridesmaids were getting ready in the Prested Apartments, situated in the Spa complex. We started our coverage from there as the girls were having their hair and make-up finished.

Hayley’s Dress and accessories were over in the main house so we made sure pictures of these were taken. Preparations were going well and it wasn’t long before the girls were ready to transfer to Prested Hall itself. Hayley’s timings were good and allowed us time to get the required photographs with her Bridesmaids and parents.

Carriage Ride to Church

The Horse and Carriage was ready for Hayley as we finished the pictures to take her with her Father to All Saints Church, Feering. David and I left to get to the Church before them and take a few pictures of Jason and his Groomsmen, who were very relaxed and enjoying the moments. We managed to complete taking Jason’s pictures before too many of the Guests arrived, then left Jason, his Best Man and Ushers to continue greeting them.

It was a beautiful day, ideal for arriving at Church in a Horse and Carriage. After taking a couple of pictures, Hayley and her Father walked towards to the Church. The Bridesmaids were first to enter the Church, then Hayley and her Father followed. Wow! The atmosphere, emotions, reactions were fantastic and these continued all the way through the service. Some wonderful moments captured! After the Church service, everybody came outside and after a few minutes we got on with the requested family pictures. It was nice for Jason to have a large contingent of his family over from Australia, where he originates from. With the group pictures completed the Guests threw confetti over Hayley and Jason.

Hayley and Jason then enjoyed the ride to Prested Hall for the Reception. The Drinks Reception awaited them and their Guests on their arrival and there was time for everyone to socialise. During the rest of the afternoon we took some fun Bridal Party pictures and a few of Hayley and Jason by themselves.

The Wedding Breakfast

The Marquee looked wonderful for the Wedding Breakfast and when the time was right the Guests everyone took their seats. The Speeches followed the meal before all the guests went outside to enjoy the evening sunshine.

The Evening

Hayley and Jason were pleased we asked them to create a few more pictures in the evening light. Moving around Prested Hall we ended up with a variety of nice relaxed and fun evening pictures. The Evening Guests were arriving when we returned so we left Hayley and Jason greeting them.

Later after cutting their Wedding Cake, they took to the dance floor for their First Dance. During the evening we captured a few informal pictures whilst waiting for the sunset. We whisked Hayley and Jason away for a little while by car for the sunset. Not to be missed! It was spectacular! This ended our coverage of Hayley and Jason’s wonderful Wedding. A lovely couple! A great Wedding! Thank you to Hayley and Jason for such a memorable Wedding. A mention to Rachel of Prested Hall, it was nice working with you as always.

Hayley and Jason were married at Feering Church with a Reception at Prested Hall in June this year. They worked promptly on their picture selection and have a beautiful finished Storybook album by mid-August.
