It was a lovely morning when we met Stewart, Connie and the children for some family portraits.
We had arranged to meet them early in morning at Beeleigh Weir, Maldon. Our aim was to take some pictures of them all before it became too busy. Good timing, we knew it was going to be a nice day and this setting attracts lots of people.
Covid Restrictions had been lifted a little, therefore more people were about. Meeting in the car park we then went for a walk. We had researched the location and knew what we wanted to do, and the spots we wanted to utilise.
Use of a longer focal length lens is aways and advantage for this type of work making Social Distancing no problem.
Stewart and Connie wanted family portraits as well as individuals of the children, Jackson, Victoria and Albert. The three children together proved to be the trickiest but we managed it! Thanks Jackson for your help!
Stewart and Connie ended up with a variety of pictures from an enjoyable morning spent with a lovely family.
It was nice when Paul got in touch with us again towards the end of last year for an updated Family Portrait.
Paul’s Mum and Dad wanted to up date the canvas picture they had of their three sons. We had taken the previous one 10 years ago! Paul and his Brothers came to us to have their picture taken.
We kept the arrangement the same aspreviously. The picture was done in next to no time.
The Family Portrait they chose was printed on canvas and framed in a virtually identical frame.
Hopefully we’ll be able to do another update in 10 years time!
We were pleased when Chelsey Jay got in touch with us last year enquiring about taking some pictures of her. Chelsey wanted pictures for her profile, advertising, brochures etc, for her Election campaign. Chelsey was standing as an Independent and hoping to be elected as a Councillor for Witham. David and I were delighted when she achieved this! Chelsey now represents Witham South Ward. We had a nice relaxed time talking about various subjects and at the same time producing some nice images of Chelsey.
It was lovely to see Kirsty, Matt and their son Brodie for some Outdoor Family Photos.
This was an early autumn morning at Highwoods Country Park, Colchester. We all thought this was a good place to meet especially with Brodie being so active there is the play area as well as a variety of walks.
Timing was good, Brodie had the play area to himself! After a short while we decided to go for a walk. Chatting and laughing as we went we ended up with some lovely pictures.
Kirsty and Matt wanted an acrylic block print to go up in their new home and the product looked fantastic! An enjoyable time was had with this lovely family.
Linda got in touch with us late last year as she wanted some pictures taken of her family so they could be put on their Christmas Cards. Not a problem and after arranging a suitable time and place to meet that’s what we did. For their Christmas Card pictures they put on their Christmas Jumpers. Once these particular pictures were taken Linda wanted a few other family pictures taken which we happily took. A fun time and some nice results.
Christine and Mark got in touch with us last year to ask us if we would take a few pictures of them with their Granddaughter, Elisabeth. Noting too elaborate, just something to give their Daughter as a picture for Christmas. Christine, Mark and Elisabeth came over to see us one morning and we took some nice pictures of the three of them.
It was nice to see Natalie and Craig again this time for Family Photography. They were married at Fennes in 2016 and now they have a son called Finley. We got together with them and members of Natalie’s family for some family pictures at Natalie’s Parents’ house. Natalie and Craig wanted a selection of different group pictures including pictures with the little ones. It all worked well and we had an enjoyable time taking them.
